Journey Home in the Shmee Wheeler from the Morgan Factory

The Morgan Sme Wheeler: An Unforgettable Adventure

As I stood at the factory of Morgan, eager to finally get behind the wheel of their latest creation, I couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. The 2014 Morgan 3-Wheeler was about to embark on its maiden journey, and I was honored to be a part of it. After completing a brief induction tour of the car, we set off on our 120-mile route, carefully chosen to avoid the intensity of the motorway due to the open design of the Sme Wheeler.

The first few minutes of driving were nothing short of exhilarating. With the wind whipping through my hair and the engine purring smoothly, I felt an overwhelming sense of freedom and joy. The Sme Wheeler's 2-liter engine may seem modest, but its lightweight dry weight of 525 kilograms made it a surprisingly potent performer. As we cruised along at 50 mph, the wind rushing past us, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer thrill of it all.

As the miles flew by, the sun began to shine brightly overhead, casting a warm glow over the countryside. The rolling hills and lush green fields whizzed by in a colorful blur, creating an unforgettable landscape that seemed almost surreal. I was struck by the sense of exposure and vulnerability that came with driving such an open-top car, but it also added an air of excitement and adventure to the journey.

After a few hours of non-stop driving, we pulled into a quaint pub for lunch, where we were greeted with warm smiles and hearty portions of food. It was a brief respite from the wind and sun, allowing us to refuel and recharge for the next leg of our journey. As we settled in for a well-deserved break, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this experience – it was shaping up to be an adventure unlike any other.

As we continued on our route, the Sme Wheeler proved to be more than just a handful; it was a true companion on our winding path through the countryside. With its 2-liter engine and lightweight design, it effortlessly devoured the miles, taking us on a thrilling ride that left me grinning from ear to ear. The miles flew by in a colorful blur as we explored the rolling hills and lush green fields of England.

One of the highlights of our journey came when we took a detour onto the Dual Carriage Way. This narrow stretch of road was lined with towering trees and wildflowers, creating an enchanting atmosphere that left us all spellbound. The Sme Wheeler handled its part beautifully, navigating the twists and turns with ease as we zoomed along at breakneck speeds.

Of course, no adventure is complete without a few close calls – and our journey was no exception. As we sped along, the wind whipping through our hair, I couldn't help but feel a sense of exhilaration at the sheer thrill of it all. The Sme Wheeler proved to be more than just a handful; it was a true companion on our winding path through the countryside.

As the day drew to a close, we made our way back into town, tired but exhilarated by our adventure. With only 20 minutes left until we reached our destination, I couldn't help but feel grateful for this experience – it was shaping up to be an adventure unlike any other. And as we pulled into our final destination, the Sme Wheeler gleaming in all its glory, I knew that this was just the beginning of a summer filled with thrills and excitement.

After an incredible first day on the road, we were now ready to continue our journey. With the Sme Wheeler safely parked, it was time to move on to the next stage – wrapping it in matching shme blue 3M vinyl. As we set off towards the Dub Customs, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation for what lay ahead.

As we pulled up to the Dub Customs, our hearts were racing with anticipation. This was going to be an unforgettable experience – getting our Sme Wheeler wrapped in matching shme blue 3M vinyl would not only make it look stunning but also add to its already impressive style. We eagerly awaited our turn, and before long, we found ourselves behind the machine that would transform our Sme Wheeler into a work of art.

The Dub Customs team worked their magic with precision and skill, carefully applying the shme blue 3M vinyl to every inch of our Sme Wheeler. As they worked, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the end result – our car was going to look absolutely stunning once it was all done.

As the hours flew by, our Sme Wheeler slowly began to take shape, its shme blue 3M vinyl glistening in the sunlight. It was truly breathtaking, and I couldn't wait to see how it would look when we finally finished. The team at Dub Customs worked tirelessly until the last stitch had been sewn into place, leaving us with a Sme Wheeler that was nothing short of stunning.

With our car now safely wrapped in matching shme blue 3M vinyl, we eagerly set off towards our final destination – eager to show it off to everyone and experience all its beauty.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys I'm shme as you've probably seen we're up at Morgan where I've been picking up the new Morgan shme wheeler the 2014 Morgan 3-wheeler well we've been around the factory and had a little induction tour to the car but now it's time to set off on our 3 or 4our drive home I've picked a route that isn't on the motorway because that would be quite intense in an open car so we're going to find some nice country roads all the way it's about 120 Mi or so fortunately the sun has come out it wasn't forecast to be a nice day today it was forecast to be a little bit sketchy but we will be driving in the shme wheeler I'm pretty excited because the thing sounds absolutely epic here it goes then well 5 minutes in this is seriously good fun I've only ever test driven one in London obviously I have to shout because we're open to the air we're driving at 50 mph at the moment so it's pretty windy it's right that you wouldn't want to take us on the motorway for too long it would be pretty intense this is going to be a pretty intense Journey 120 M you don't have to wear the helmet I'll probably try and in a bit especially if we're going to do any faster driving but uh it's a really nice day when I was worried about having to do this in the rain so I've got my support car out in front just in case while driving up there in the first place CU m is quite a long way to the west of England wow this is awesome SS it drop again first bit of driving down then and we've come to a pub for lunch uh well we've already had lunch but what a first leg this car is so much fun you feel incredibly exposed which is going to be interesting around London although I think it'll be pretty fun but uh yeah I've got a big smile on my face it's a long way from here though so we're going to get back on the road couple of couple of hours ahead of us so push on this thing is ridiculous on a day like today this is perfect this is absolutely perfect pulled in for a fill up I suppose it should be fairly economical the cars it's 2 L engine but it only weighs 525 kilos dry weight so we've used a bit over half the tanks 40 L tank gone 120 Mi or so so it's all right quite a lot of fun I'm not going to lie I'm quite Worn Out 3 hours on the road so far um and probably hilariously windsweep yeah pair is kind of funny so uh this is all good fun and games only 20 minutes until where I'm stopping for the night tonight so uh exciting times so it turned out I only put 18 L back in the car which um is only what a third of a tank a little bit over a third so I'm not quite sure maybe I misunderstood the gauge anyway but that's pretty cheap 120 M 18 l someone out there will do the math and tell me what the fpg on that is and that's with having a bit of fun in the countryside as well we just did a bit of dual Carriage Way Too after coming out of the P station and um it's a little bit risky and I can tell you if you go fast it's Ry but uh now we're just chilling nearly back at home and uh basically want to get back here we go then made it horrendously wind swept but that was quite an adventure four hours or so in the Morgan shme wheeler but we are here already packed up the car for the next stage but it's going straight off to dub Customs because now we're going to wrap it in matching shme blue 3M vinyl pretty excited about that and we'll get some photos done the two cars together this with the McLaren and that's going to look awesome can't wait to get it into town though driving around slowly is really cool because there's no worries you know you don't there's a little bit of a breeze but it's no problem it's only when you try and go on the motor or go faster the wind gets a little bit Overkill but this is just the start of the summer Adventures so make sure you're subscribed to check them all out journey one down mvin back home that's it for right now though I'll catch up with you very soon cheers and now we have the Morgan shme
