The Process of Assembling a Lamborghini Huracan Replica Kit
The team behind the replica kit has made significant progress in assembling the various components of the kit. The process began with pulling out all the parts from their storage unit, including the oem uprights for the wing and the hardware needed to mount it to the car. Tony had an advantage in this aspect as he already had a crashed Huracan that could serve as a test bed for the kit.
The team's plan was to start by pulling out all the panels from the crashed Huracan, which would provide them with a clean slate to work with. Instead of buying new oem panels, they decided to use the replica kit instead. This approach saved them time and money, as they could avoid the hassle of sourcing new parts.
As they began to lay out the panels, they were struck by their intricate design and detail. The hood, in particular, was a marvel of engineering, with its complex folds and creases. The team was amazed by how much work had gone into creating these molds, which would have required significant expertise and resources.
One of the most impressive components of the kit was the shark fin, which added a touch of elegance to the front end of the car. The team worked together to lay out the different parts, including the fenders, which were equally intricate in their design. They were careful not to damage any of the parts as they worked on assembling them.
As they progressed with the assembly, the team encountered some challenges, including a loose connection between the lights and a burnt-out grid that needed to be replaced. However, these minor setbacks did not deter them from their goal, and they continued to work tirelessly to bring the kit to life.
The use of a hammer proved to be a crucial tool in the assembly process, as it allowed the team to shape and mold the different components into place. The result was a car that looked remarkably like its oem counterpart, with all the details and nuances intact.
The rear end of the car was another area where the team made significant progress, using the replica kit to create a functional roof scoop and other components. This added an extra layer of realism to the car's design, making it look even more authentic.
As the assembly progressed, the team couldn't help but be in awe of the complexity and intricacy of their work. They had set out to recreate a Lamborghini Huracan replica kit from scratch, using only the oem components provided with the kit. The result was nothing short of remarkable, with every detail and nuance meticulously recreated.
The use of the pampers box as a makeshift workspace added a touch of humor to the proceedings, as the team worked together to sort through the various parts and hardware. Despite the occasional mishap or misstep, they remained focused and determined, driven by their passion for building something truly unique and special.
In the end, the assembly of the Lamborghini Huracan replica kit was a testament to the power of creativity and innovation. By using only oem components provided with the kit, the team had managed to recreate a car that looked remarkably like its factory equivalent, with all the details and nuances intact. This achievement was a true marvel of engineering and design, and one that would be remembered for years to come.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwelcome back to the ddhq guys we're going to show you guys that super truteo evo kit you want to start pulling this out and just kind of lay a bunch of it out wait on uber what's up everybody welcome back uber then we'll tell you what's going on everything hurts why was everything hurt oh and see doing for the first time and i so sore i'm not joking the muscles from like you know from the seat yeah yeah i had one night in prison we're gonna take you guys right now and show you the shop because it's apparently done finally yeah so the lips are completely done working the floors are completely done everything's been cleaned now it's basically a blank slate that's been dramatic that was like two months not a lot of money yeah a lot of money we were actually coming here with the full intent up until about 20 minutes ago to pick up the 720 gtr and there's an issue so that's been delayed so now we're kind of on our toes trying to figure out what we can do for you guys for a video and we're figuring well reveal the shop completed is a good start the second part to that is we have that super trofeo evo kit we've always talked about what do we do with it well we finally got it shipped from ltmw out of their storage huge shout out to long thank you for storing that it's been sitting at his shop forever he actually had to move an alignment rack a full alignment rack just to get it out because it was at the back of the shop or in a box still so we got that shipped down to orange county to another friend of ours tony shop he has a body shop yeah we've been there before and uh we're gonna go talk about potentially installing that onto a hurricane should we do that should we sell it tony's got interest in buying it the kit we have interest in potentially still putting it on a car yeah we're torn i don't uh honestly i i don't know what to do at this point i'm disappointed that the 720 gtr is not in this vlog right now they're gonna figure it out the boys at kintani are on it we have a bit of a drive i'll show you guys the shop here shortly i'm just working on my trophy i'm just working on my trophies it's for the family and we're back ladies and gentlemen avenue the arts let's check in so this is so much our home away from home i did something funny i got to show you this well we were having the floors done in the shop and we had to move everything around we had bought a whole bunch of workout gear because i wanted to work out well being at the shop and well we had these free weights and we had this peloton treadmill and a peloton bike well the peloton bike i sent back up to my house but the treadmill i actually said to the fitness center here at avenue of the arts so i have my very own treadmill right here out of all the treadmills this is my treadmill ddhq i can do my login and everything no one can use this treadmill this is mine reserved 24 hours a day seven days a week kind of random i thought i'd show you guys that i feel sorry for that guys take the water get a fresh towel stand for the room and the only car that we have here oh no no no no no we have a dodge caravan oh is the van here yeah so we've been gone for so long i got off the airplane i was like what cars are where we actually had to have a conversation to figure out where the cars were and ryan the intern i don't know where he is now he uh took the van off that day remember we had to go to kentany in back and we still beat him starbucks in the garage back we were waiting for him to catch our flight almost missed it because he was 10 minutes down the road under an hour and a half in the valley this is true this is true the intern lives a sketchy life the intern doesn't he needs the same one room and that's it because he was a mess traveling amazing well we have one car you guys we have a lot to update you guys on because we've been on for two weeks but for now this is what i'll tell you we have a diablo and it's still not straight pipe but we're working on it there she is she is also very dirty that's the one thing about parking the cars especially here where it's open all the dust comes in like look at this three okay i need to give this girl a little bit of a splash little bath get in the van let's go as always will the car start yeah this thing this is one of the oldest cars we have on the channel it's probably the most reliable that's wild what the battery's dead in the van shut up the intern left something on i guarantee it no that's dead we'll deal with that tomorrow dude i was just sitting here talking to these guys saying will it start and ironically this is the oldest car that we have on the channel and this thing is the most reliable now this car has been absolutely amazing although i do blame ryan for whatever he did with that van yeah if you left the door open and left to today charge back we are back oh she looks sad without us yeah it looks done okay let's go back let's go back to the shop now we're going back to canada guys i hope you enjoyed the la vlog the pool misses us could you imagine all right the reveal oh this is real we have lost in these floors yet oh it feels so good to have a shop where the floors are finally done these look really good it looks like marble it's got like that cool unique like patina to it this is sick welcome back to the ddhq guys i'm excited i'm actually excited now this is actually really impressive it's clean it's organized the couch is over here now this area here we talked about doing a little like bro zone hangout zone this couch probably changed because it's the wrong material for although they didn't clean it this is it look at this got the tv yeah i got the 85 inch monster tv behind me a couple of supercars it's feeling a little empty we got to bring in the cars once we get the cars in here it's gonna be awesome we have lots of things coming including including special special special delivery this week of a car i've been waiting for for a long time no not the mercy logo although my car is fixed now the petcock valve took two weeks to get in from italy somebody in italy had to pet the and get it in the box and ship it here so mercy's back we have actually a big reveal for that car plans for this week we'll update you on the spj spj there's some changes with the spj coming even the 550 we do the plan for a lot of you guys asking what's gonna happen with that car now there is a plan and it's a good one so things are happening the biggest thing guys was getting a shop ready but the shop's a big part of what we're doing i wouldn't expect the floors to take like this was seven weeks and it cost us like we spent a lot of money in those floors and then originally as a sponsor deal they offer some free floors cool we will spend the money and the lease you gotta think we've been leasing this place this place is thousand dollars a month plus insurance and all the other stuff so we're paying all that and not really using this seventy eight thousand dollars in lease payments fifty thousand dollars for the floor yeah it's real money so we burnt 125 000 and again this is a business when you can't just go out it has to come in so that's why it was stressful we don't always talk about it but like dave and i deal with a lot of stress behind the scenes 550 we have someone and a team that's very capable of building this car and at least getting it to where we can get it going get it running so finish the interior same things do a cage paint the interior put the race seats in at the harnesses get the steering wheel in get it running in operation then we got to do obviously headers and some basic stuff we're probably going to change our plan a little bit but headers and a nitrous kit probably do a brake upgrade and some suspension and then off the kidney fits her designs to get the kit then the car's good to go this car we have some things that we're gonna do with this we're gonna revert it back to a street car so there are some things on this car belong to the race team like the angle kit the rear locking diff the hand brake we're gonna pull that stuff out put it back to stock we have options with this car so you guys can help us decide right now in the comments below do we keep it and do something further with the viper do we get rid of the viper all together and bring another huracan back and i'll tell you what we would do with the huracan because we're going to go look at it later tonight in this video we need to now put some beautiful cars in here now that we have the beautiful floors done this is exciting because not only are the floors done it's actually clean in here look at this beautiful this is just to sit here and take it all in for a minute this has been a lot of work and a lot of headaches all the exotic dd only exotic cars on the left the diablo your murcielago the svj three lamborghinis right there yeah we could depending on what these guys want to do get rid of this car and get another huracan which would have a very crazy kit on it that could be four lamborghinis that covers lamborghini territory 550 right wide body all done crazy twin turbo f12 720 gtr 720 gtr carrera gt all right straight pipe v10 madness is that it at the moment we sold some cars we did you guys know that we sold the x aperta which is now back to a huracan evo spider we sold that back to august they really wanted that car 65 lt did 675 lt they do know that that went back to august a car they don't know speaking of hurricanes is we actually sold the 316 speed car back to the owner of 316 speed that car was just kind of not working out for us to be completely honest and he had so much invested in that car and we were like it's only right that you take that car so that's gone back to rg at 316 speed we gotta go shopping yeah i think it's time to add some more cars to the fleet but what's what have we not owned in the channel well i think we need to bring back the huracan i think people would like that that's if we get rid of the viper what have we not had on the channel it's hard there's a point where you get to like the sub million dollar cars you run out of them and then all and you're trying to be unique compared to like anybody else which is hard there's just nothing new coming there's been no 720 replacement announced yet i might be speaking too soon but i personally don't want to turn up i would like to get a sena but that's a big dollar value one let's sub a million dollars that we could go that way that we haven't had that's not like you don't want us to get an a12 super fast we could but it's a little too much like the f12 but it's kind of not because it's twin turbo so we just straight piped the 812 we got an a12 and 812 is a sick car so let's just talk about that we could get an a12 super fast what else well i think the audience has got like decide if they like the older stuff because there's a lot of older supercars we could make more modern if you guys are interested in that because there's a lot of lineage before in the 2000s and 90s we talked about doing like a diablo and do an updated version of it which would be cool to do that we need all this functioning that's been delayed yeah a12 super fast uh an f8 it's scary when you've been doing what we've been doing for as long as we have like you kind of run out of cars what happens is you don't run out of cars we've ran out of money because now the cars are so expensive that we don't have 10 million dollars to go buy it like there's some cars or hyper cars like we talked about like we were in kelowna for dream rally and i was driving 675 and he was in the the huracan and i was like cool have cars up here because it's nice having cars in both countries and i was like a cool car i like people like a 911 turbo but for what we do on the internet doesn't really get views so certain cars we would like to buy but based on our business model just doesn't connect with the internet there's a hardcore following for 911 owners some of them watch this channel but like it's not the overwhelming demand it's just even like the viper like some of you guys like it a lot of guys don't like the viper yeah just based on preference i mean our audience we know loves lamborghini lamborghini is number one number one lamborghini ambassadors on the internet with no huracan right now i'm feeling like we need to get another huracan oh what's in here well we did all this as well so before this was carpet and all those trophy cases if you remember oh hold on it's all polished now look at this so we have options in here and also this this is going to be another room for doing something like again engine building or something some choices to make but in the meantime let's go for a drive we're going to show you guys that super truffeo evo kit that i bought a long long long time ago before anybody other than our one boy mark had done it and just due to covid and all the delays and everything that went on we and you kind of got the shaft we didn't get to build that car it was my hopes and dreams of building that car it's been years of wanting me to build a street version of that car especially when i saw mark's car i was like mark really hit out the park with that he did the super trofeo the first version we have the actual evo version with the roof scoop just like alex has and now it's caught on a bunch of people have done it but i think if we did it we could still do it on the dd level because you know i've got ideas about how to make that all work just like the 720 details i have all the bad ideas i have lots of bad ideas a custom paint job the whole nine yards but in the meantime let's get out of the shop and head over to where the kid is all right sir we've arrived we have the secret destination it's not so secret factory certified this is city collision center he has something of ours he went and picked up the super troffeo evo kit do we sell the kit or do we build it because he wants the kit he does want the kit we hold all the cards jeez dave come on hey so we found him by the way he's been cleaning all of this up he had a similar issue to us he has a forklift right over there in the corner sad and uh drippy he blew a hose uh we briefly opened this at ltmw the last time but if you don't know what's going on there is a full replica this is not the oem super travail kit don't tell him whoa whoa i thought it was the original carbon fiber i mean yeah yeah yeah have you looked into the how much the original carbon kevlar kit is i haven't because i haven't even been allowed to look in the box well an actual real version of this kit on carbon is triple the cost of this it's 90 grand wow and i couldn't even find one that is crazy but these guys out of belgium had one had a kit and made every mold meticulously and then remade the kit and then refit it to the race car to make sure it was all proper and then once they knew it was good they banged out a bunch of these replicas that actually came with the oem uprights for the wing and then i bought all the oem hardware to mount it to what would have been the race car but it helps in the process of mounting it even to the street what we're going to do for the very first time is you want to start pulling this out and just kind of lay a bunch of it out tony's got a leg up on us we currently don't have a hurricane that we can put this on as you know he does in fact he has the ideal situation he has a crashed huracan for the most part it's not that bad but it's all messed up with the panels and he can just simply instead of buying the oem panels buy the kit from us and tada opposed to what our dummy we're gonna do is we would have bought a perfectly good huracan and ripped off the perfectly good panels and put these panels on i don't think our huracan's wrecked i think it's perfectly fine no accidents on carfax there's no damage i think there's a stretch on it no we just pulled all the panels off in anticipation of finding a kit to put on the car elias don't stop orange around here what's in here let's throw anything around because you never know what's in what like it's in a bag so it's got to be something important best part is the pampers box in the corner i'd like to know what's in that write me the check right now before you pull a panel hey you said you wanted to pull this all out and make sure everything was here no that this is yours look how intricate all this like how much like is going on with just the hood it's a lot of stuff paper mache yeah just like that like do you know what it would take to make the molds for this it would be no idea you don't know so i i literally can't appreciate it oh yeah just throw it no problem be careful that's the uh shark fin and let's lay this out the way that it would look on the car so front end yep there we go you guys are doing a great job yeah thanks for the help wait step on it that'd be a big discount i have a hammer what is this that's the hammer it's not going okay there we go there we go now we're making some progress here it's a big way it's huge big wing gang that's the whole front bumper does anybody want to help with the size i'll pull it up just be a man don't let it touch the screws that's the back end of the car the whole rear of the car right there who's this lamborghini on it look at this lamborghini come here this is one of the coolest parts of the whole kit oh yeah come on oh that's pretty sick how cool is that that is really sick right that is so good look at that fitment look at that fit man look at the fitness looks good the trick is are you guys good enough to install it that's the whole rear end let's see that put that right here for a second that's not intricate at all it's a whole lot beginning here yes look at this chop chop hey people rear quarter panel for the driver's side oh now do you understand the undertaking that is this kit and we don't even have it all out of here all the little stuff's still in here and all the hardware oh this one's right back in the box look at this functional roof scoop so this is actually what you can use so it'll be functional so this will take the air and this can mount right to the manifold that looks like a lot of work it's not that much work if you just put it back into the box oem oem lamborghini wing uprights am i a man of my word those are inexpensive that's pretty cool that's for the fender so look at the fenders how intricate these are when these guys built this they were so meticulous that this piece from the factory flexes so they even made it so it's flexible good luck putting them up yeah you know oh no it's not going back in that box it's late smash the subscribe button join the dd fam you guys can help us decide right now in the comments below get another huracan which would have a very crazy kit on it if we did it we could still do it on the dd level because you know i've got ideas about how to make that all work i'll see you guys in the next video peace keep recording sometimes when you clean these lights they get disconnected in certain areas so to fix the little burnt out grid here you will yeah watching you do this is funny i need a glass there's a loose connection somewhere loose connection somewhere\n"
