Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 Smartphone Benchmarks

Introduction to the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3

Hello and welcome back to my channel. Today, we're going to do some benchmarking for the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3, which I've already unboxed and shared with you in a previous video. So, if you haven't checked out that video yet, please take a look. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is a massive phone, featuring a 6.3-inch screen, and it's actually bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S4, which has a 5-inch screen.

The Phone's Size and Comparison to Other Devices

As you can see from the photo, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is quite large compared to other devices on the market. In fact, the Galaxy S4 looks pretty small in comparison. While it may be bigger than some of its competitors, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 isn't actually a flagship device by Samsung. Instead, it's considered a mid-range device, which means it doesn't have all the top-of-the-line features and specs that you'd find on one of Samsung's high-end devices.

The Processor: Qualcomm S4C Dual Core

Now, let's take a look at the processor in this phone. The Galaxy Mega 6.3 is powered by a Qualcomm S4C dual-core processor, which runs at a speed of 1.7 GHz. This isn't exactly the most powerful processor out there, but it should still provide smooth performance for everyday use.

The Graphics Processing Unit (GPU): Adreno 305

In addition to the processor, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 also features an Adreno 305 GPU. While this GPU is capable of handling graphics and games, it's not as powerful as some of the more advanced GPUs found on other devices.

The RAM: 1.5 GB

One of the unique features of the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is its 1.5 GB of RAM. This is relatively low compared to some of the other mid-range devices out there, but it should still provide enough memory for most users.

Benchmarking the Phone with Nina Mark II Benchmark

Let's take a closer look at how this phone performs in various benchmarks. We'll be using the Nina Mark II benchmark, which tests the phone's performance in terms of speed and graphics rendering. As you can see from the results, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is able to render images at a relatively fast pace, but it's not as fast as some of the more advanced devices out there.

The Results of the Benchmarking Test

As we run the Nina Mark II benchmark, the phone's performance looks like this: ... with an NX score hovering between 405 to 50. While this isn't exactly the most impressive result, it's still a decent performance considering the device's specs.

Single-Handed Operations and the Display

One of the main drawbacks of using this phone is its large size, which can make single-handed operations a bit tricky. The display is also relatively low-resolution at 720p, which may not be ideal for those who want a more detailed viewing experience.

Quadrant Benchmark Results

Let's take a look at the Quadrant benchmark results, which provide a more comprehensive picture of the phone's performance. As you can see from the results, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is able to score around 6930 points, which is a decent result considering its specs. The CPU scores around 1684, memory around 1235, IO around 4887, and 2D/3D graphics around 1000 and 2243 respectively.

Antutu Benchmark Results

Now let's look at the Antutu benchmark results, which provide a more detailed picture of the phone's performance. As you can see from the results, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is able to score around 12730 points in the overall test, which is a relatively good result considering its specs.

Epic Cite Benchmark Results

Finally, let's take a look at the Epic Cite benchmark results, which provide a more detailed picture of the phone's gaming performance. As you can see from the results, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 is able to score around ... with an FPS of almost 60, which is a very good result considering its specs.

Conclusion and Final Thoughts

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 may not be the most powerful device out there, but it's still capable of providing smooth performance for everyday use. The large display and high-resolution screen are definite pluses, but the low RAM and mid-range specs may limit its appeal to some users.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi there this is Ranjit and in this video we're going to do the benchmarking for the Samsung Galaxy Mega I already done the unboxing for this Galaxy Mega 6.3 so you can check out that video to know what comes inside the Box this is a massive phone that Sports a 6.3in screen and to give you an idea uh this is the Samsung Galaxy S4 which showes a 5-in screen and look at this Mega how big it is the Galaxy S4 actually looks pretty puny in front of that and uh though the mega has the largest screen side it's not the flagship Android phone by Samsung hence the specs are also kind of mid-ranges let me talk about them and the processor on this Galaxy Mega 6.3 is the Qualcomm S4 C processor it's a dual core processor clogged at 1.7 GHz the GPU on this is adreno uh 305 and the RAM on this is very interesting it's not 1 gig not 2 gig but 1.5 gigs so let's start with some benchmarking and let's start it with Nina Mark uh two Benchmark and uh we're going to run it for the first time and it's a 720p screen and again if you look at the NX score it's uh hovering between let's say 405 to 50 again adreno 305 is not a flagship GPU but a mid-range GPU I would say Samsung does not call this as their Flagship device so again considering the cost of this phone uh I would say the performance is okay and then we can see that we get a score of 52.8 FPS let's publish that it's not very high because I've seen many of the new Android phones uh hovering at the 60 Mark um and as you can see it puts the adreno 305 GPU so let's get out of this one and uh again I have to say single hand operations with this phone is a little bit difficult it's massive and let's also run this quadrant I already run the quadrant uh Benchmark and before I show you this course let me show you the system information and as you can see uh it's running a dual core processor the maximum frequency is uh 1728 and the minimum is 384 and the ram is 1.5 gigs and if you go to the display as you can see it Sports the adreno 305 GPU and the screen resolution as I said is 72 X 1280 that's a 720p screen and let's also look at the sensors again as you can see Samsung did not skimp on the sensors uh now let me show you the quadrant scores so these are the quadrant scores and as you can see let me just maximize it our device gets a score of 6,930 which is actually a very decent score for a 1.7 GHz dual core processor and let me give you a breakup the total is 6930 the CPU is 1,684 memory is 12835 IO is 4,887 2D is 1,000 and 3D score is 2,243 I actually also ran the antutu Benchmark and let's look at the scores and as you can see we got a score of 12,730 for the and22 let me show you the details scores now and these are the details scores for the an2 Benchmark again the specific model for the one we have benchmarked is the GTI 9205 let's also do one more last Benchmark and this is epic citel and this will test the gaming performance so again as you can see it's very smooth I would say and uh this Benchmark is a little bit interactive so as you can see I'm moving around and it's very very smooth no drop frames so even 3D games should work very well on this one and let me also show you the Benchmark sces now again just notice the FPS we are touching almost the 60 FPS mark on this Mega 6.3 which is actually very good again do notice there's hardly any drop frames or anything like that very smooth animation so it should be also be good for 3D gaming I'll also be doing 3D gaming test with this uh Samsung Galaxy Mega very soon so if you aren't subscribed to my YouTube channel subscribe to the same if you found this video helpful I'll appreciate if you can click the like button that's it for now this is Ranjit and I hope to see you in my
