the Balm Nude Beach Palette Review and Swatches

**Eyes Shadow Palette Review**

I recently had the opportunity to review an eyes shadow palette that caught my eye. The palette consisted of six shades, each with its own unique character and potential for use on the eyes. In this article, I'll share my thoughts on each shade, both in terms of how they swatched on paper versus on skin, and how well they performed in a makeup application.

**Swatching Issues**

One of the challenges I faced while reviewing this palette was getting some shades to swatch as well as I would have liked. There were three shades that didn't swatch as well as I expected: "Bold", "Breathtaking", and another shade that I didn't even bother to name. I found it difficult to get a good idea of how these colors would translate on the skin, but I was pleased to report that they still performed beautifully once applied.

The "Raisin" shade was another one that didn't swatch as well as I had hoped. However, when I wet my brush and re-applied it, I found that the color came out much more evenly and blended beautifully on the skin. This experience taught me an important lesson about the importance of wetting my brushes before applying eyeshadow.

**Color Preferences**

I have to admit that I wasn't blown away by some of the colors in this palette. While they were not bad, per se, there was something about them that didn't quite resonate with me. That being said, once I started applying the shades to my eyes, I found that my perception of each color changed dramatically. The "Brilliant" shade, for example, was a beautiful transition shade that worked beautifully on its own and paired well with many other colors in the palette.

The "Breathtaking" copper shimmer shade was another favorite of mine. It was so pigmented that I found it difficult to apply too much of it at once, but when applied lightly, it created a gorgeous look. The way this color blended into the skin was seamless and effortless, making me wonder why I hadn't discovered it sooner.

**Makeup Application**

In terms of makeup application, each shade performed beautifully on its own. I found that the "Bold" shade worked well as a base color, providing a smooth transition from lid to crease. The "Brave" shade was perfect for creating a subtle definition along the upper lash line, while the "Breathtaking" copper shimmer shade added a touch of luxury and glamour to the overall look.

I also enjoyed using this palette to create a smoky eye look. By applying the darker shades in the crease and blending them outwards towards the brow bone, I was able to create a beautiful, dramatic effect that looked great on camera. The "Raisin" shade was perfect for adding depth and dimension to the look, while the "Breathtaking" copper shimmer shade added a pop of color and excitement.

**Tutorials**

In addition to reviewing the individual shades in this palette, I also created a full tutorial using some of the colors. In this tutorial, I showed how to create a gorgeous, smoky eye look that would be perfect for everyday wear or special occasions. The "Brilliant" shade was used as a base color, while the "Bold" and "Breathtaking" copper shimmer shades were used in the crease and outer corner of the eye, respectively.

**Conclusion**

Overall, I was pleased with this eyes shadow palette and found that each shade performed beautifully on its own. While some colors didn't swatch as well as I had hoped, they still looked great once applied to the skin. The "Breathtaking" copper shimmer shade was a particular standout for me, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, high-quality eyeshadow product.

I also appreciate the versatility of this palette, which can be used to create a wide range of looks from everyday natural shades to more dramatic, smoky eye styles. And while some colors may not have swatched as well as I had hoped, they still performed beautifully once applied.

**Lashes and Mascara**

In addition to reviewing this eyes shadow palette, I also tried out the accompanying mascara and lash products. The mascara was a sample size from Pure & Duchi, but it performed beautifully and added plenty of length and volume to my lashes. The eyeliner pencil was another product that impressed me, as it glided smoothly onto the skin and created a beautiful, precise line.

Finally, I paired this palette with some false lashes to add an extra touch of glamour to the overall look. In this video tutorial, I showed how to apply the eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner pencil, and lashes all at once to create a dramatic, glamorous effect that's perfect for special occasions or everyday wear.

I hope you've enjoyed this review of this eyes shadow palette! Let me know in the comments below what you think of the colors, and whether or not you have any favorite shades from this palette.

love these beautiful warm tones and if you have a medium toned skin or darker skin you know what I'm talking about I wear obsessed I mean it's the kind of color that we love I mean I think you love these beautiful pink shades are so amazing some of them i swatched with my fingers some of them came out a little bit not as smooth like these two shades didn't swatch as well as it does translate on the eyes I use these colors in this color on my crease today and this tutorial actually you can watch it at the end of this review so if you want to watch this tutorial it's going to be after the swatches and so I use this color I use this on my eyelids I use this more than my modern renaissance palette and some of my other warm toned palettes that I have this color is called brilliant it's a very nice off-white kind of beige color and this is how it looks like it's very soft it's really really soft this eyeshadow the next color is buff it's a pale pink and it's a shimmer eyeshadow and this is how it looks like I'm gonna do two swatches because you can't really see it it's the lightest I feel like it's the sheerest color in this palette but it has the most beautiful flecks of pink to it so it's really nice to put it all over the lid or if you want to put it in the inner corners this was called Brainiac and this is a burnt pink it's another shimmer color and this is how it swatches the swatches don't do it justice because when you put it on your eyes it actually blends and it's more pigmented then you see on my hand here so I'm gonna swatch it twice because I really want you to get a good feel of this this color because this is such a gorgeous color and on the eyes they blend so nicely this one's called built and this one is a very intense gold beautiful shimmer color so pretty this one is called bodacious bodacious is like a warm apricot brownish color it's a really nice beautiful warm transition color bodacious is a matte shade and it's a great great shade
