We left the track pretty late because we were trying to see if Tom Bailey was going to make a one last ditch pass and he did not. So, uh we got on the road kind of late. Not a lot of racers here but we're checking with some of the ones that are here and see how the drive is going. Brent for PFI speed is here just hanging out with Jamie, checking with them fellas what's up? Are we just relaxing or are we waiting? We're just waiting on Shane. Oh okay, Shane's cruising down. are in Brazen more Sports Park and every racer you see behind me had to complete the 150 to 200-ish mile Cruise last night from Orlando to start off the day the current number one overall is Tom Bailey with a 625. there's a couple other people in there with 650 670s but the number one overall with the 625. we did lose a couple Racers on the road last night uh one notable one that you guys might have seen in the video is our buddy Matt and the turtle Maybe 25 miles outside of Bradington last night as engine locked up on him so not everybody made it today so not everybody made it but we're gonna go around the pits toxic people see all the struggles on the road taking some racing action here in a little bit coming back with the mid six all right so you you did race car things very well yesterday yes how did it do in streetcar things man we waited on my buddy Pablo yeah that was racing the Integrity with us he broke two axles so we waited for him to get new axles and hit the Run unfortunately we had a little trans issue so um we're like hey man like it's like six now we gotta get on the road because we made our pass like later you know it's like we still gotta drive you know so he's like all right go ahead I'll be behind you we get out we start cruising we're like all right this is cool uh oil temps started getting a little warm and we needed some gas so we pulled over I think we're 15 miles from the track by the airport and uh Jim's like there's oil leaking out of the back bumper and I'm like oil I'm like there's no oil back there so we disconnect the oil the fuel pump drive cable from the fuel pump in the trunk okay and then pull the cable out of the oil pump so we don't disconnect it from the engine there's the seal on the back of the cable drive that separates the actual oil pump to the drive cable that seal was bad the oil was going through the drive cable all four quarts to the trunk well luckily it holds 10 it was like really low or so so um so we're like okay there's that so we didn't make it very far but we're good now so we went around about some lower Rings we got back at three this morning we made it um ready to run what's the game plan today it's uh literally running the same exact pass from yesterday so same tune-up everything that's exactly the same okay thank you yes get there at 6 55 2 15. yeah I'll take that six times all right we got the hearse we got this beautiful C10 foreign oh my God holy that is wild noon first new 60-foot so I don't really want to say it but this thing looks like a seven second rocket to me I'm just saying I didn't turn the boost up at all from yesterday really all that air is just that much better well with because I was making less power before like I had to gear it a little higher so it's got 430s in it oh geez I'm gearing out now like everything's happening so much quicker 60 foots happening quicker eight miles happening quicker at turbo life buddy I bumped the rev limiter up a couple hundred RPM I might have to go a few more and see if we can be doing one and done are you gonna go back up there oh I'm I told I told you eight something all week and here we are with an eight one and Springs in the gates because it made six pounds on the dyno and it uh we're trying to run it at six pounds but at the track when you start rolling gears it starts building more boost and uh the Boost safety's at 15 pounds and yesterday it hit the Boost safety at the top of fourth and top of fifth gear gotcha so it had more boost in it all the way down the track and then we went that 825 with the five at 157. so today we made a Loosely to try to control the boost gotcha I pulled the log in to see what it made but it never hit the Boost cut so I know it didn't make 15 pounds so it's probably only making 10 or 11 to slow down two numbers it's a good data we got we're probably gonna pack it up I was gonna say are you one and done yeah I'm probably going to want to done it just because we want the car to finish we're in a class we didn't get to get the dashboard in the car yet so we got bumped to um modify okay so we're actually in mullet's class so we don't have a chance of winning chasing fuel issues so uh we switched we changed up some injectors we got it on the two-step no problem I thought everything be good go up there I mean when I was good came up on the two-step find but then as soon as I let go of the break it's like it was in freaking neutrals so I don't know I mean to me a transmission's still full of like black magic so therefore don't what then I mean assumed that I broke a gear vendor and uh because I could still drive it and typically like typically like other under heavy load you can't drive the air vendors broke but under low load you can still drive it gotcha so um show whatever drove it back but then when I went to back into the pit stall there was no reverse gotcha so um I mean that's another hindsight thing that if I would have if it would have been just tried to um put it on the trans brake then I would have known it wasn't the gear vendor because the car would have still went forward so um but I didn't just jump to changing the gear vendor because the Clock Was ticking on how much time we get to make another run so we got the gear vendor all changed and then uh um still no reverse so I tried to uh try to put it on foot brake I could only brakes are only going to hold about 2 000 RPMs so like literally like there'll be no control in the car right when it comes in so I mean I turned in my 10 my 1040 time slip or whatever and then and then do some thinking I don't want to sound like an ass right but like do I have a reason to try and fix that and get up to Georgia because my goal is different than a lot of other people's goals are exactly like I was already not happy with yesterday's pass so but I still ran the numbers in my head and said okay well now I can't run a five every day but I could do a five second average um get a couple good passes and well that's that's out the window with today so the two goals that I had because I mean my goal my goal wasn't necessarily win in the event obviously that would have came with yeah me meeting my goals but but I would I would rather possibly I would rather possibly work on getting the trans fixed or see if I can get another one with my ratio and then come back and do something at the end of the week exhibition advice or whatever like I don't I don't I don't I don't need the moral victory of right but in the words of all in the words of Tom Bailey it's for the Adventure exactly and we're on it so you have to figure out if you want to how badly you want to Adventure the rest of the week it's tough being it being your event yeah so trying to be the racer at the event so like that part's already been taught that I've had a hard time with doing that because it's like I wanna I want to make sure everybody gets a great experience and we've got a great staff and everything but um it's hard for me to be racing and giving everybody that experience exactly but but I created the event for people like me to be able to go run their best numbers that they can going to lose a piece of his car in the process what is up and welcome to day two of sick week 2023. today we are in Brazen more Sports Park and every racer you see behind me had to complete the 150 to 200-ish mile Cruise last night from Orlando to start off the day the current number one overall is Tom Bailey with a 625. there's a couple other people in there with 650 670s but the number one overall with the 625. we did lose a couple Racers on the road last night uh one notable one that you guys might have seen in the video is our buddy Matt and the turtle Maybe 25 miles outside of Bradington last night as engine locked up on him so not everybody made it today so not everybody made it but we're gonna go around the pits toxic people see all the struggles on the road taking some racing action here in a little bit coming back with the mid six all right so you you did race car things very well yesterday yes how did it do in streetcar things man we waited on my buddy Pablo yeah that was racing the Integrity with us he broke two axles so we waited for him to get new axles and hit the Run unfortunately we had a little trans issue so um we're like hey man like it's like six now we gotta get on the road because we made our pass like later you know it's like we still gotta drive you know so he's like all right go ahead I'll be behind you we get out we start cruising we're like all right this is cool uh oil temps started getting a little warm and we needed some gas so we pulled over I think we're 15 miles from the track by the airport and uh Jim's like there's oil leaking out of the back bumper and I'm like oil I'm like there's no oil back there so we disconnect the oil the fuel pump drive cable from the fuel pump in the trunk okay and then pull the cable out of the oil pump so we don't disconnect it from the engine there's the seal on the back of the cable drive that separates the actual oil pump to the drive cable that seal was bad the oil was going through the drive cable all four quarts to the trunk well luckily it holds 10 it was like really low or so so um so we're like okay there's that so we didn't make it very far but we're good now so we went around about some lower Rings we got back at three this morning we made it um ready to run what's the game plan today it's uh literally running the same exact pass from yesterday so same tune-up everything that's exactly the same okay thank you yes get there at 6 55 2 15. yeah I'll take that six times all right we got the hearse we got this beautiful C10 foreign oh my God holy that is wild noon first new 60-foot so I don't really want to say it but this thing looks like a seven second rocket to me I'm just saying I didn't turn the boost up at all from yesterday really all that air is just that much better well with because I was making less power before like I had to gear it a little higher so it's got 430s in it oh geez I'm gearing out now like everything's happening so much quicker 60 foots happening quicker eight miles happening quicker at turbo life buddy I bumped the rev limiter up a couple hundred RPM I might have to go a few more and see if we can be doing one and done are you hotter today than it was yesterday around 118.5 yesterday but we have a little bit of a boost creep issue we're trying to run our wastegate at six pound Springs in the gates because it made six pounds on the dyno and it uh we're trying to run it at six pounds but at the track when you start rolling gears it starts building more boost and uh the Boost safety's at 15 pounds and yesterday it hit the Boost safety at the top of fourth and top of fifth gear gotcha so it had more boost in it all the way down the track and then we went that 825 with the five at 157. so today we made a Loosely to try to control the boost gotcha I pulled the log in to see what it made but it never hit the Boost cut so I know it didn't make 15 pounds so it's probably only making 10 or 11 to slow down two numbers it's a good data we got we're probably gonna pack it up I was gonna say are you one and done yeah I'm probably going to want to done it just because we want the car to finish we're in a class we didn't get to get the dashboard in the car yet so we got bumped to um modify okay so we're actually in mullet's class so we don't have a chance of winning right we got a chance of finishing right Jacks roll up in the lanes and see what they could do every other big car though has pretty much made passes and almost all of them made sixes so I don't know how many shots they're gonna get at passes tonight maybe two maybe just one pass but it's Gotta count yesterday 6 25 and I'm not sure crazy mile per hour so sitting number one leaving the track yesterday but he still has to make a pass and back it up and continue being number one overall going into Georgia tomorrow so lifted Crown big for its first pass of the day I love this thing this thing makes me smile every time Here Comes rice and his Mustang a very hard car to miss as soon as he fires this thing up everybody on the property instantly knows that he's about to make a pass still gonna run a 13 after all that well shoot what happened did a wheelie broken fuel pump belt oh I didn't know you broke something yeah we broke up a rubber belt what's the game plan this pass what do we shoot for uh 675 we put the whole team earlier I did that wheelie because we had a full tank of fuel we just need to get a 675 so we can get on the road we had a long drive gotcha good luck man to you foreign just crawled into his race car time you get to the track it just matters that you get the pass done before they close the lanes which they just called last call I'm pretty sure this Blazer just got here I'm gonna go chitchat with the block just blocked the rotating hole you saw the entire rotating assembly Jesus we didn't sleep last night I bet not so these guys behind me have about 40 minutes to get everything unloaded out of the car put it into race trim get in the lanes and make a pass and pray that it's a good pass but as long as they get a pass in they can go to the next track and still compete in the week but they have to get the pass in on time oh there's that freaking Crown big you got Kyle back up here there's Emilio yep it's about to go down right here foreign foreign I can't even see the T-Bucket now but he's gonna go 11 28 and I can't see the mile an hour all right guys well as you just saw you can't have your car up on a two-step for that long because if you do that your car gets hot and a whole bunch of stuff starts to fail that's what happened to him so unfortunately for him his car is going to need a lot of repairs probably a new engine and uh unfortunately for us we're gonna have to play the waiting game while they get that cleaned up so the cool thing about where you're sitting is you don't have to wait we're just gonna show you what happens after we get the track all cleaned up so I'm gonna go grab some AC and hopefully you're still here when I get back which will be like in a second so bye here's the two-wheel drive Blazer it's just drilled in and got this got this and ready and now they're gonna make their first pass of the day foreign probably not what they wanted to do but it's a good start all right so Tom changed out the gear vendors or something like that so they're not gonna be able to make another pass he's gonna have to take the 10. but it is a pass he can still turn in the slip it just ruins his average for the whole week all right Tom so it's not fixed enough to make a pass but are you guys still going to go to Georgia so it was weird because like uh we thought we had the problem solved with we're chasing fuel issues so uh we switched we changed up some injectors we got it on the two-step no problem I thought everything be good go up there I mean when I was good came up on the two-step find but then as soon as I let go of the break it's like it was in freaking neutrals so I don't know I mean to me a transmission's still full of like black magic so therefore don't what then I mean assumed that I broke a gear vendor and uh because I could still drive it and typically like typically like other under heavy load you can't drive the air vendors broke but under low load you can still drive it gotcha so um show whatever drove it back but then when I went to back into the pit stall there was no reverse gotcha so um I mean that's another hindsight thing that if I would have if it would have been just tried to um put it on the trans brake then I would have known it wasn't the gear vendor because the car would have still went forward so um but I didn't just jump to changing the gear vendor because the Clock Was ticking on how much time we get to make another run so we got the gear vendor all changed and then uh um still no reverse so I tried to uh try to put it on foot brake I could only brakes are only going to hold about 2 000 RPMs so like literally like there'll be no control in the car right when it comes in so I mean I turned in my 10 my 1040 time slip or whatever and then and then do some thinking I don't want to sound like an ass right but like do I have a reason to try and fix that and get up to Georgia because my goal is different than a lot of other people's goals are exactly like I was already not happy with yesterday's pass so but I still ran the numbers in my head and said okay well now I can't run a five every day but I could do a five second average um get a couple good passes and well that's that's out the window with today so the two goals that I had because I mean my goal my goal wasn't necessarily win in the event obviously that would have came with yeah me meeting my goals but but I would I would rather possibly I would rather possibly work on getting the trans fixed or see if I can get another one with my ratio and then come back and do something at the end of the week exhibition advice or whatever like I don't I don't I don't I don't need the moral victory of right but in the words of all in the words of Tom Bailey it's for the Adventure exactly and we're on it so you have to figure out if you want to how badly you want to Adventure the rest of the week it's tough being it being your event yeah so trying to be the racer at the event so like that part's already been taught that I've had a hard time with doing that because it's like I wanna I want to make sure everybody gets a great experience and we've got a great staff and everything but um it's hard for me to be racing and giving everybody that experience exactly but but I created the event for people like me to be able to go run their best numbers that they can run so it's like it's catch 22. well road so we're not gonna get there till at least 11 if we see some Racers on the road probably a little later than that but uh we're gonna get back on the road see if we can find some other Racers on
