A Christmas to Remember: A Family's Holiday Traditions and Unboxing Adventure

As I sat in front of my family, surrounded by the twinkling lights of our beautifully decorated tree, I couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement and nostalgia. This was my fifth year doing this video, where I would unbox and review some of the best gifts that my family members had received. And as always, it was going to be an eventful day filled with laughter, excitement, and maybe even a few tears.

I started by showing off my new lens, which I had been eyeing for months. "No I think he just he did there it is guys the tree is right above us doesn't Mo trying to get the good angle it's not that much of a wide angle lens but there it is better good dad," I said with a chuckle. My family laughed and teased me about my photography skills, but I knew that this new lens was going to make all the difference in capturing the perfect shot.

As we moved on to the unboxing portion of the video, my mom walked into the room carrying a large bag of gifts. "I know you want blood sucking leaches that's what we are," she joked, referring to our favorite holiday tradition of receiving unwanted gifts from each other. I smiled and replied, "You're welcome as always you treat us well." My family teased me about being a good sport, but I knew that it was all in good fun.

As we dug into the gifts, my dad was thrilled with his new Black Ops 2 game, which he had been eyeing for months. "I'm just kidding I'm kidding seriously though I really do appreciate everything my family does for me," he said gratefully. My mom and I exchanged gifts as well, including a beautiful piece of artwork that she had received from her sister.

But the real star of the show was the food. Oh boy, the food. We spent hours cooking up a storm in the kitchen, preparing all sorts of delicious dishes for our holiday feast. "I call first taste first taste for 2012 when we get back to the house," I said excitedly, referring to my mom's famous salmon recipe that had been passed down through generations.

As we sat down to eat, Kristen walked into the room, looking a bit frazzled from her day. "Go get her go get Kristen go get her it's a real time Chase hi de perfect timing you're so little you're in the street why'd you park in the driveway cuz there's too many cars hide of be this is perfect timing," my mom joked, trying to lighten the mood.

But the moment was quickly interrupted by our mischievous cat, Shane, who had broken one of Kristen's lanterns. As we continued on with our holiday traditions, my dad pointed out the beautiful wreath that Kristen had made for him. "Thank you David for not only my wreath but this wreath as well we have two this year one over here and one over at the Frank media headquarters," he said gratefully.

But just as things were starting to wind down, our elf in the show, Hunter Pants, suddenly appeared out of nowhere. "Hunter pants is on the loose so is Jasmine guys here it is this year's tree is in the wrong room too but I suppose change is good big tree there it is it is very full and actually the first it's in the living room this year not the family room are you okay with that Mom I'm fine with that but it will be very comfy opening the guests with the couches here Kristen what are you doing you look like death you look like The Nightmare Before Christmas thanks Kyle thanks Kyle Kyle didn't do this to you he's sick oh so you got okay I don't understand how you from Kyle Hunter your lighting is excellent how you look at me when I talk to you just kid hunter hunter pants this twisty thing's never going to go away on your snout what happened there at Birth what does your mother do to you we're going to acne I think right yeah would you mind if you drive and I I record sure cuz I want to show the salmon and anything I get for food shopping I'm trying to mix it up I'm sorry exactly what people would I do what I want I do the footage that I enjoy and if people happen to enjoy it in the process then success in my eyes that's my belief in video who's that guys look at the tree it's beautiful smells freaking amazing did I just tilt it e like to Mom is this tilting or is it me oh my God yeah Mom the tree's tilting or not," Kristen asked, looking confused.

As we wrapped up our holiday celebration, I couldn't help but feel grateful for all of the love and laughter that we had shared. It was truly a Christmas to remember, one that would be etched in our memories forever.
