As I sit here with my trusty Roku Streaming Stick, I am reminded of just how far we've come. The Apple watch, a device that was once seen as a futuristic luxury, is now an affordable and accessible piece of tech that's hard to imagine living without. And today, we're going to take a closer look at another product that's been making waves in the streaming world: the Roku Streaming Stick.

The Roku Streaming Stick is exactly what it sounds like - a plug-and-play streaming experience that allows you to access your favorite services from the comfort of your own home. so the Streaming Stick allows you instant access to services like Amazon Voodoo Hulu Google Play and so much more including Netflix I cannot express enough how big of a fan I am of Netflix I honestly cannot imagine my life without Netflix it is that good and thankfully the Streaming Stick experience is seamless with Netflix it just works but to make things even better the Streaming Stick offers something something rather unique it's called the hotel and dorm connect this basically allows you to enjoy your Roku experience away from home and apparently it just works now I say it just works because unfortunately I've not had the chance to try this for myself but with that said bring this thing into a hotel room get it set up and it should work seamlessly and even with that said I have read the reviews on Amazon and it seems the experience with hotel and dorm connect is overall pretty positive now you can use the free IOS and Android app to control your Roku which I never got the chance to do but it does exactly what it sounds like it allows you to browse and add channels right on your phone you can send video music photos and more to your TV and of course you can search for your media using text or your very own voice so finally I just got to say again for $50 you simply cannot go wrong the Streaming Stick just works it did lock up once while I was trying to set things up but besides that my experience has been perfect okay so before I get into the giveaway winner I do want to say one thing how does this compare to the Apple TV well honestly I still prefer my Apple TV over anything else in the market in my opinion it's a much more premium device it offers so much more except for Amazon I will say you know besides if you airPlay it but oddly enough Amazon Instant
