ios 14.3 some of the latest new features but aside from ios 14.3 today apple also released ipad os 14.3 for all ipads that support ios 14. for the apple watch apple today released watch os 7.2 for the apple tv apple released apple tv os 14.3 as well now for iphones for older iphones apple also released ios 12.5 now this brings exposure notifications to older devices bug fixes and improvements as well so apple continues to support older iphones on the latest 12.5 for those that do not have ios 13 are not capable of running ios 13 or ios 14. now that build number for that one is 16 h20 and interestingly enough ios 14.3 which is about four and a half gigs and as i always say this is overriding the entire os you're not gonna be missing four gigs from your iphone once you update but this software had two rc's or release candidate we saw one last monday as 18 c 65 and then on thursday following two days later we see rc 18 c66 so 65 and then 66. now today's official final release is the same build number as the second release candidate so today's build number is ios 14.3 18c 66. so let's take a look at what's new now with 14.3 apple now brings the new subscription service fitness plus now you do have to own an apple watch and you can use this on your apple tv your iphone your apple watch you can start working out you get different sessions directly from apple different sessions added weekly you can now subscribe to this new service on the latest 14.3 here is the splash screen that you get once you subscribe for the first time for the new service fitness plus now apple also added support for airpods max on ios 14.3 this brings support for the new airpods over the year the airpods max now have high fidelity audio for richer sound so this is now enabled also adapted eq is coming for the airpods max which will be arriving to customers tomorrow with of course active noise cancellation transparency mode spatial audio and all that good stuff now aside from the new software support for the hardware on airpods max apple also added some great new features to older iphones as well as new iphones for iphone 12 lineup we now get the apple pro raw feature for the photos on your iphone giving you brighter pictures more control over your edits so apple pro raw is a feature that you can turn on or off within the photos extension here on the top right there's also an extension in settings under the camera extension where you can toggle the feature completely off and remove it from the ui and it is an awesome feature for the iphone 12 lineup now apple also added the ability to record 4k at 25 fps as you can see right there it is that is a new feature for iphone 12 models as well on 14.3 and for older iphones as well apple added a new feature that allows you to mirror the front-facing camera on every iphone that runs ios 14.3 so you'll now find the mirror front camera option enabled on all iphones across ios 14.3 in case you did not know that there's also updates to the app clips so now if you have an app clip near you you have the ability to go into control center and go ahead and scan that app click directly from control center or use the camera itself on the iphone to scan that app clip as well so that's also new here on 14.3 you can add that toggle of course to your control center as well by simply going over to control center here in settings if we go to the control center you'll find the qr code or the code scanner right there you can add it right there to your control center and start scanning those new app clips that are now available near you and you can view those and have access to those applications at different establishments across the us here in other parts of the country so apple continues to improve the apple watch experience of course and that the low cardio fitness notifications is just a step further for that now in the health department we now have a new pregnancy tab as well that's also new and a fifth search engine has now been added to safari on the latest 14.3 and there it is now under the tv app the apple tv plus subscription service we now have the tv plus tab which allows you to view all of the apple i guess you can call them tv shows or special shows that apple uh tailors directly for iphone users on the latest 14.3 as well this is a brand new tab under the apple tv extension now other tidbits we have a new update all button for apple smart accessories across the home and if you have other accessories as well you can now update everything with one single click definitely love were reporting issues with the keyboard dismissing itself or not even popping up in certain applications through the os app was also addressing this as well ps5 control support is here with 14.3 and there's a few other bugs that i'm hoping apple did address with the latest software that were not mentioned on the release notes for example there's a green tint issue reported by many iphone 12 owners if you have a green tint displayed on your iphone this is just an example here this is what it would look like if you have this issue after updating to 14.3 highly recommend you take the device into apple to get it swapped out or checked out because apple did not mention this on their release notes but i think they could be addressing this with this software as well of course the text message notification bug has been addressed there was also minor issues with the battery for some users this was more isolated some users were reporting really bad standby time so if you weren't using your iphone it was just sitting there not charging you would come back let's say you left it at 40 you would come back it would be at maybe 30 and iphones have always been praised for having great standby time and that was an issue on the newer iphones as well now some users are reporting and have commented on my videos wi-fi issues i've experienced wi-fi issues myself but some users even experience wi-fi being grayed out completely not even being able to access the wi-fi extension on their iphones which is quite interesting some users reported this they've left some comments on my videos i haven't had that big of an issue with wi-fi just wi-fi speeds i've had issues with but not grayed out entirely apple did not mention this on the release notes but hopefully this is a dress and of course these cell connection issues with 5g spotty connection on iphone 12 is also something that apple did not mention but hopefully they did address on the latest 14.3 so just a ton of new
