Nike Adapt BB Unboxing - Nike's Self Lacing Hoops Shoes

except that these are connected to a motor and do all the leasing for you the souls the souls of the Nike shoes they're Lunarlon that's kind of expected it's one of the Nikes harder phones that they use in their souls that's really expected because there are a lot of components in the bottom of the shoe there's motors there's gears there's bluetooth connectivity things in here so there's a lot of components in here that need to be protected Nike said that they are water resistant so they don't recommend that you go in the ocean or flop around but you can walk through a puddle you can walk them in the rain for $350 though I wouldn't risk walking in the rain especially when they're just built for basketball

all right guys we just got done unboxing the Nike adapt bb's we're gonna go through the app put them on and get them set up and see how they feel already kind of a snug fit that's good I actually kind of like these as slippers there oh that's pretty freakin awesome alright so now we're gonna go into the app and get started I guess they kind of already suck into your feet just once it's once the the mechanisms senses your foot I guess it starts doing its magic and going through and trying to find the right fit

we'll go into the Nike adapt app and we're gonna set them up just custom for me in the way I like my fit so we're in here and we need to turn our Bluetooth on and connect them through your bluetooth so I asked you to pair it it's connecting the right shoe right now and the left shoe so we're all set up we should be able to good to go so let's test it out on the app and if you hear that it's actually tightening through the app and you can get it pretty dang tight these things have like 32 pounds of force that they can pull on and you can actually that only goes to a certain limit and then once you're done with the app you can actually even go even tighter with the buttons manually I only recommend this if you're like actually playing basketball because they're pretty darn tight I know like really freaking tight

another cool thing with the app is you see these lights you see these lights this is where you can actually change the color of them so they have a few different colors they have let's see 13 colors going on right now we have a white green spark this is actually the same color that Jason Tatum who plays for the Boston Celtics uses we have electric green off to yellow laser orange total orange right crimson red orbit pink blast that purple racer blue hero blue and Aurora green actually probably like they're ordering the best I think it matches the she the best but also within the app you can actually deal ace them all the way so you just hit a little slide button and it takes them all the way down to completely loose

you can go through in the settings there's software updates shoe preferences so you can actually go in and you can pair of shoes calibrate your Fit Auto lace but then you can also have different like tightness a--'s so like if I was just gonna wear these as slippers I can have a specific tightness that it's set for that but if I was going to go play basketball I can also have a already preset tightness for those as well so it's really cool that you can't really just touch a button and go back and forth on your fits

and they have different settings for people who have orthotics but I don't have any orthotics in right now so we'll just go through and here we go so right now the app is going through and it's tightening and loosening on the shoe to see where my foot is and you can actually see the lace the mesh is really loose right now because the laces are so tight you can actually go through and turn off auto lacing if you wanted to so if I did want to wear these just as slippers and not every time I step they tighten because they think I'm putting the shoe on again you can turn that off

all right you guys as you can see today there was a lot going on in these shoes there's a ton of tech in it and we're excited to learn more about it in the next few weeks thanks for watching our nike adapt bb's be unboxing you guys there is a review coming up on these shoes I'm gonna be wearing them in the office I'm gonna be playing basketball in them as well but please please tell us what you want to see us do in them comment below and if you want to learn more about the Nike adapt technology go over to digital trends calm

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: eneveryone Riley went here with Digital Trends we are doing in unboxing today it's something I'm very excited about we have the Nike adapt Earl BB for those of you who don't know what this is it's Nikes newest form of their self tying shoes now when I say self time they call it power lacing but these ones are specifically built for basketball all the other ones where they were trainers or the Nike MAG which you may have seen in Back to the Future because that's where this was conceptualized this idea and we're gonna go through unbox it Nike you it was nice enough to give us a box last time when they came on our show Digital Trends live so we're gonna go through and go through what's in here so we've got a little like slip sleeve box you're outside there we go box in the box that's fun so if you look right here we got where she decides you have tiny feet don't make fun of me but then we've got the suggested retail value of $350 and that's actually just the retail these things are selling online for a lot more than that they're already sold out they've been out for almost a month now I think and every time I've looked to you know purchase them myself they're always sold out online so the resale value of these is gonna be a lot more sneaker heads over out paying way more money first up that doesn't tie its own laces so you know these are kind of I guess you would say a bargain if three or 50 bucks is a bargain open this bad boy up oh nothing in here nothing in there but we've got the shoes so these are pretty freakin sweet looking at these the goal with these is really to look futuristic and I think Nikes really accomplished that just look at him they look like slip-ons but you know you've got these lights and we won't set them up yet but you got these little lights these buttons and that's how one of the ways you can tighten them we'll go into that a little bit a little bit more these dots are also supposed to symbolize a butterfly wing the design inspiration for these shoes were some butterflies and apparently a lot of butterflies have dots on I haven't gotten too close to a butterfly to really see but we'll go through what else do we got in the box we got both sizes at the left and right shoe then since these are self lacing we've got the charging pad and one of the things with this is you know these do have motors in them they do have electronics in here so they do need to be charged and this is the best way of charging so I guess really what you do is you just plop them on left and right and you've got them got them charging but we'll go into that a little bit once we get it all set up got that we've got a little got an instruction manual gonna go through that and then I'm gonna guess this is the charger yep got a little USB charger got that going on there's two different ways to tighten them there is an app that comes accompanied with the shoe just the Nike adapt app you can get it for Android or iOS Android has been having some problems with connectivity but I believe in Nike has resolved that issue by now if not you can still tighten them up the old-fashioned way and by old-fashioned way I mean using the buttons to self tighten them but looking at the shoe looks a lot like you know a slip-on but if you get real close and look underneath the mesh you can actually see that there's a cabling system and so this cabling system is what actually is the shoelaces they're very similar to kind of a snowboarding cable that you would have on the one for you syndrome except that these are connected to a motor and do all the leasing for you the souls the souls of the Nike shoes they're Lunarlon that's kind of expected it's one of the Nikes harder phones that they use in
