Huawei P20 Pro vs Samsung S9 Plus SPEED Test

**Speed Test: Huawei P20 Pro vs Samsung Galaxy S9+**

In this speed test, we put two high-performance devices to the test: the Huawei P20 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S9+. We compared their performance in various areas, including loading times for social media apps, opening images, and playing games.

**Loading Times on Social Media Apps**

We started by comparing the loading times of each device on popular social media platforms. On Twitter, we noticed that both devices loaded up almost instantly, with no significant difference in speed. However, Instagram was slightly quicker on the S9+, taking only a fraction of a second to load up an image.

The Facebook page manager test showed that the P20 Pro took slightly longer than expected to load up, while the S9+ was noticeably faster. On YouTube, both devices performed well, but the S9+ was still slightly quicker.

**Loading Times on Games**

We then moved on to a series of games to see which device loaded up faster. The results were impressive, with the S9+ consistently loading up ahead of the P20 Pro. In Angry Birds 2, the S9+ loaded up first, followed by the P20 Pro about two seconds later.

The Mario Run test showed similar results, with the S9+ loading up first and the P20 Pro taking a few seconds longer to load. However, this was not the only instance of the P20 Pro taking longer to load; in one specific instance, Mario Run loaded up almost instantly on the P20 Pro.

**Sonic Boom - Sonic vs Real Steel Robot Wars**

The Sonic Boom game test showed that both devices were quick to load up, but the S9+ was still slightly faster. In Real Steel Robot Wars, the S9+ continued its dominance, loading up ahead of the P20 Pro by just a fraction of a second.

**RAM Management Test**

Finally, we conducted an RAM management test to see how each device handled keeping multiple games open at the same time. We loaded up several games on both devices and observed that they performed well in this area as well.

The results showed that both devices were able to manage their RAM effectively, with only minor differences between them. This suggests that the P20 Pro's powerful processor and efficient software are more than capable of handling demanding tasks.

**Conclusion**

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ emerged as the faster device in this speed test, consistently loading up ahead of the Huawei P20 Pro by a few seconds. However, it's worth noting that the P20 Pro's performance was not consistently poor across all tests, and there were some exceptions where the device performed well.

The results suggest that the S9+ is indeed the faster device, but only by a small margin. This makes it an attractive option for those looking for a high-performance smartphone with minimal loading times. However, the P20 Pro still offers impressive performance and features, making it a worthy competitor in the market.

Sonic - p20 Pro keep slippin here and it is the s9 Plus once again coming in a few seconds quicker compared to the p20 prop now let's move on to Temple Run 2 once again the p20 pearls slipping a little bit and it was quicker on the s9 plus although we have a slightly different map on the p20 pro-law so I'm not sure why this is but anyway we won't take that test into consideration let's move on to subway service s 9 plus yet again P 20 Pro coming in a few seconds later we'll play this and we'll leave it open let's move on to dead trigger 2 and that was pretty much neck and neck let's play the game slightly quicker on the s9 plus not really much between them too I'd say about second but it was faster on the s9 plus right moving on a swell date that's nine plus again few seconds later on P 20 Pro and our final game is Real Steel Robot Wars we've got quite a few games I always say this but this is to test out the run management a later point to see how well these two perform and for this one again it is the s9 + the s9 + does seem to be faster for loading up all of these games we're gonna play the game and s9 + yet again by just a fraction of a second right now let's test out RAM management to see how many of these games are still open took a few seconds to reload that on the s9 + but it is still in the same place dead tree - was in the same place subway surfers yep in the same place we can resume the game and we're gonna move on to Temple Run 2 in the same place sonic boom yep as expected both of these do have 60 bytes of RAM so both of them handling RAM management absolutely fine Mario runs in the same place as it's Angry Birds YouTube exactly where we left it page manager the same place Instagram on the image that we left it on and finally Twitter in the same place notifications so there we have it guys that is the speed test between the Huawei p20 Pro and the samsung galaxy s 9 + overall the s9 + does seem to be the faster device loading up pretty much all of the games faster compared to the p20 problem now for the regular social apps it was pretty much neck and neck and although the p20 pro did load up all the games a little bit slower compared to the s9 A+ it was generally only a few seconds of difference apart from that one occurrence of Mario run now this does seem to be an odd occurrence and I don't think this is something that you are can experience on a regular basis and both devices overall I think are super fast what did you guys think of the results I definitely let me know in the comments below and also let me know what videos you'd like me to cover p20 Pro going forward I hope you enjoyed this video part useful if you did then please do hit that thumbs up on for me and if you have already then be sure to subscribe and switch your notifications there's lots more content coming up on here thanks for watching this is saffron super-safe TV I'll see you next timewhat's of YouTube's if you want supersoft TV and in this video we're going to be doing a speed test between the Huawei P Tony Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S 9 plus so will initially be starting off with some benchmark scores then moving on to some regular social apps followed by some games and finishing off with brand management now for this test we are using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 version of the s9 class and that is because it it perform a better overall compared to the Exynos 90/10 version of the S 5 plus in my previous video which will be linked in the cards if your interest to check that out also to keep things as far as possible I have set the resolution of the S band plus here to full HD plus which matches the resolution of the Huawei P 20 pro right so kicking off with benchmark scores for Geekbench for the samsung galaxy s 9 plus the score quite a bit higher for both the symbol on multi-core this is also the case for unto to the overall score quite a bit higher on the s9 + now let's get to the app test you can see that we've got nothing open in the background we're gonna start off with twitter and that was pretty much neck and neck going into notifications I'd say a tad quicker on at the s 90 + instagram tad quicker on the p20 run into my profile also a tad quicker on the p20 and opening up an image is pretty much neck and neck let's move on to facebook page manager and that was the tag quicker on the f9 + we'll scroll down here and we'll move on to YouTube pretty much neck-and-neck there and now we're gonna play the first video and that was quicker on the s9 plus we do have an advert but it is the exact same advert on both devices let's move on to games so we're gonna go on to Angry Birds 2 and you can see this time here at the bottom which is gonna tell us exactly how long each of these take and the s9 + is definitely here first followed by the p20 pro a few seconds later we're gonna leave this open and we're gonna move on to our second game which is Mario run once again we can look at this timer to see exactly how long each of these take and the s9 + once again is faster now the pedo in pro here is taking quite a bit longer this is not usually the case I think this is just a one-off in this situation in previous times that I've tested this it doesn't take that long for Mario run to load up but anyway let's have to begin and this time it was the p20 Pro which loaded up the full game right now let's move on to sonic boom -
