iOS 12 Beta 11 New Record Breaking BETA For iOS _ What’s New

Apple's Software Beta 11 Release Notes: Minor Bugs and Updates Ahead

In a recent release, Apple continued to focus on fixing minor bugs and releasing updates for iOS 12 beta 11. The latest software beta is available now, and we've got an early look at what's new in the release notes.

The Latest Beta Update: A Minor Software Patch

As of today, iOS 12 beta 11 is live with a download size of approximately 75 megabytes on the iPhone 8 and around 53 megabytes on the iPad. This latest update brings some minor improvements to the operating system, but it's essential to note that this is still just a beta release.

The Animation of Apps on iPads

One notable change in iOS 12 beta 11 is the animation of apps on iPads. When switching between open apps using the app switcher, you'll notice a smoother and more seamless transition. The animations now come from the bottom, filling the screen with all the open apps, giving it a more modern and sleek look.

This change might seem minor, but it's an example of Apple continuing to refine and improve the user experience on their devices. We're eager to see if this updated animation will be retained in the final release.

Release Notes: Known Issues and Bugs

Despite the progress made with iOS 12 beta 11, there are still some known issues that need to be addressed. According to the release notes, some of the bugs include:

* HomeKit issues

* Map issues

* Media player framework issues

* Network issues

* Phone and FaceTime issues

* Screen time issues

These bugs highlight the ongoing efforts of Apple's development team to ensure a smooth user experience across all devices. With this latest beta release, it seems they're getting closer to resolving these issues.

Battery Performance: A Major Concern for Beta 10 Users

As we've seen with previous beta releases, battery performance is an essential aspect of any operating system update. Unfortunately, iOS 12 beta 10 has been notorious for its poor battery life, and many users have reported significant issues. Hopefully, this latest release will address these concerns and provide a better user experience.

Testing and Performance: A Look at the Numbers

To get a better understanding of how iOS 12 beta 11 performs, we ran some benchmarks on our test device. The results are promising:

* Single-core score: 42.40 (beta 10) vs 42.40 (beta 11)

* Multi-core score: 10,000.622 (beta 11) vs 10,000.533 (beta 10)

While the single-core scores remained relatively consistent between beta 10 and 11, we saw a significant improvement in the multi-core score. This suggests that iOS 12 beta 11 is performing better than its predecessor.

Conclusion

As with any beta release, there's always room for improvement, and Apple continues to work tirelessly to refine their operating system. With iOS 12 beta 11, we see minor updates and bug fixes that aim to enhance the user experience. Although there are still some known issues to address, it's clear that Apple is committed to delivering a smooth and stable device.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enWow iOS 12 beta 11 has just been released by Apple guys and this is a new record for those of you that don't know Apple has never released more than 10 betas for any other iOS version and today iOS 12 breaks that record with 11 betas and it just goes to show that Apple is definitely serious about doubling down on performance speed enhancements and bug fixes before sufficiently for iOS 12 so for iOS 12 we are doubling down on performance while working top to bottom making improvements to make your device faster and more responsive now we can still see another beta before it's official release so we could technically see 12 maybe even 13 because we have about two and a half maybe three weeks before this hits the general public but let's go ahead and talk about the software was a minor software update today again Apple continued to aim and fix minor bugs and I'll go over some of the release notes here shortly the latest software beta 11 with 7d eight megabytes download on the iPhone 10 that's coming from beta 10 to beta 11 today now I do have some complaints in regards to battery with beta 10 hopefully beta 11 will fix those but of course in order for me to test the battery and everything like that I need at least 24 to 48 hours so I'll check back with you guys this is my initial impressions and anything that I can find within the first several hours and having the software now here on the iPhone 8 we have approximately 75 megabytes and on the iPad which is something that I want to share with you guys here on the iPad as well we have approximately 53 megabytes that's coming from beta 10 to beta 11 it's a day so it's gonna take a quick look here at the latest a bill number for iOS 12 beta 11 that's a lot of beta testing right there it is 16 a 5 3 6 5 B is going to be the latest bill number for iOS 12 beta 11 now the first thing I want to share with you guys about iOS 12 beta 11 is the animation of the apps which are on iPads now this may just be me but let me know in the comments down below if you do have an iPad running iOS 12 beta 11 check out the animation for the app switcher when I start from the bottom you see that it just comes in from the side and fills the screen before it would just pop into place sort of like the control center here you see just pops into place but now it just gives you this really cool kind of animation coming in from the sides and filling the screen with all the apps that are open again let me know in the comments down below up and use an iPad in iOS 12 for quite some time and I noticed something different about the app switcher animations there so maybe it's just me but let me know in the comments down below now I want to go back to the iPhone here and share some of the release notes so you guys can see some of the bugs that are still present with an iOS 12 beta 11 so that means Apple can still release beta 12 maybe even beta 13 before even the golden master copy I know that sounds kind of insane but doubling down on performance and fixing all the bugs before it's official release could mean 13 betas for iOS 12 including a golden master copy some of the known issues here in the App Store we still have some homekit issues some map issues media player framework issues Network issues phone and FaceTime and screen time so there's still a few bugs that need to be addressed with iOS 12 so again as I mentioned iOS 12 can reach at least 13 betas now in regards to battery of course you guys already know my situation with beta 10 so hopefully this gets a lot better with beta 11 I'm gonna be doing some testing let me know what you think in the comments down below if you're running the latest beta on your device how's the experience been for you at least maybe 10 because it's been terrible for me in regards to battery performance beta 10 and hopefully we can get a better results here with beta 11 no dark mode no new wallpapers nothing like that unfortunately so now let's go ahead and run a benchmark just to see how the performance is doing with the latest beta and of course we're gonna be comparing that to beta 10 so beta 11 here running a benchmark to see what the numbers will look like let's wait for that so here are the numbers for iOS 12 beta 11 single core score is going to be 42 40 and the multi-core score 10,000 622 that's impressive actually so let's go back here to beta 10 10,000 533 for the multi-core score and check out a beta 11 10 in 622 that's a nice improvement there for the multi-core score single core score a beta 10 42 21 beta 11 42 40s so just about the same here on the single core score so nice improvement on the multi-core score we're looking good as I mentioned guys I'll have a follow-up video for you guys be sure to stay tuned for more coverage here on iOS 12 a beta 11 any additional new features and changes and improvements or not to the battery I'll be sharing those with you guys no follow-up video thank you for watching
