T95N $36 4K Android Tv Box Unboxing And Benchmarks T95N Mini M8S Pro

**A Hands-On Review of the T95N Android TV Box**

As an enthusiast of emulation and gaming on Android devices, I was excited to dive into the T95N Android TV box. This device has been gaining popularity among enthusiasts due to its impressive specs and affordability. In this article, we'll take a closer look at my experience with the T95N, including its performance, features, and overall value.

**Performance Benchmarks**

To evaluate the T95N's performance, I ran a series of benchmarks on the device. First, I used 3D Mark and 22 Benchmark to test the CPU and GPU capabilities of the device. The results were impressive, with a single-core score of 617 and a multi-core score of 1,824 in Geekbench 3. These scores are not bad for a $36 Android TV box, considering its specifications.

Next, I ran the Ice Storm Unlimited benchmark on 3D Mark, which scored a relatively low 6,846. While this score may seem disappointing at first, it's essential to remember that the T95N is an affordable device with limited specs compared to other gaming consoles and high-end Android devices.

**Bluetooh and Controller Support**

One of the standout features of the T95N is its built-in Bluetooth support. I was able to pair my Xbox One S controller wirelessly with the device, which was a pleasant surprise. This feature makes it an excellent option for gamers who want to play their favorite games on Android devices.

**User Experience and Build Quality**

After completing the benchmarks, I took some time to explore the user interface of the T95N. The device comes pre-installed with Android 5.1.1, which is a bit outdated but still functional. The UI is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it accessible to users who are new to Android devices.

The build quality of the T95N is also noteworthy. Despite being an affordable device, the box feels solid and well-built. The materials used for the casing are decent, and the device has a compact design that makes it easy to carry around.

**Disassembly and Upgrades**

In my next video, I plan to disassemble the T95N and add a heat sink or fan to the CPU to see if we can increase performance. By doing so, we may be able to overcome the limitations of the S905 AM Logic CPU, which can reach high temperatures and result in reduced performance.

**Conclusion**

The T95N Android TV box is an excellent option for those looking for a affordable device with decent specs. While it may not match the performance of more expensive devices like the Nvidia Shield or PlayStation 4, it still offers impressive value for its price.

Overall, I'm very pleased with my experience with the T95N, and I think it's worth considering for anyone in the market for an Android TV box. If you're interested in learning more about this device or have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments section below.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey what's going on guys it's ETA Prime back here again today I received another small Android TV box now this one I ordered it was $36 it has a am logic s905 quad core clocked in at 2 GHz 2 GB of DDR3 RAM Bluetooth 4.0 built-in HDMI two USB ports micro SD card slot ethernet Wi-Fi it's packed with features for a $36 Android device let's go ahead and open it up and take a look first thing I notice is this is way smaller than the last box that I have I will leave a link in the description to the video it was the mxq pro we'll open it up here this is the t95n mini m8s pro go around to the back side here so over on the back side here we have our av and audio out for a composite or a component television HDMI ethernet One USB port and our DC 5V Vol to amp in on the other side here we have another USB port and a Micro SD card slot nothing on the front really except for the IR receiver and nothing on the other side very plain little box um it's super super tiny in comparison here's a Raspberry Pi 2 now it's not much bigger than the pi 2 and it is pretty much exactly the same height from the USB ports here I also have the Nvidia Shield here as you can see much tinier but it's not going to be anywhere near the performance of the Nvidia Shield but for the price I wasn't expecting it to let's see what it came with here in the Box we have a plain Jane Android remote and I actually love these little remotes I know they're super cheap but they work very well HDMI cable 5vt 2 amp power supply has a small Barrel Jack and the user manual which may be in Chinese no it's actually in English wow yeah both sides are in English pretty cool so a lot of you guys know me and I am really into emulation and I want to see how this performs the last box was pretty much the same specs minus Bluetooth and only 1 GB of RAM I have the brand new Xbox One S controller um this has Bluetooth built in we're going to see if we can pair it with the t95n because I would love to have this wireless controller to play my emulators on this box first off run a few benchmarks on this box here we're going to run the benchmarks totally stock and in the next video I am going to disassemble this and add a heat sink or a fan to the CPU to see if we can increase the performance so let's go over I'm going to set this up and we're going to run a few benchmarks all right guys so I have the unit booted up I put in my Gmail account so I could access the Google Play Store and I downloaded 3D Mark and 22 Benchmark CPU and geekbench 3 first let's take a look at CPU Z so we do have the 4 core a53 at 2.02 GHz a m Ali 5 Core 450 MP GPU it's capable of 4K movie Playback an AM logic CPU system Android 5.1.1 the CPU is already at 44 degrees C I'm going to go back here and we'll see if this thing really has blue Bluetooth because one of the big things was these are advertised with Bluetooth but some of them do not come with it so what I'm going to do right now is try to connect my XBox One Bluetooth controller to this I have the newest Xbox One S controller it has built-in Bluetooth I going to put it in pair mode and see if it will connect to this box if it does this is really awesome because some of these boxes and it's right there already listed some of these boxes do not support game pads when you plug them into through USB and right now let's see I am using the Xbox controller and it works so I have a Bluetooth Xbox One controller connected to the unit all right so what I'm going to do now is just connect a mouse as you see here we're going to go in and run an and22 Benchmark really cool that that Xbox One controller works with this unit and I'll fast forward this test for you guys but this is stock out of the box no modifications to the box at all so straight out of the box we scored a 36028 it's really not that bad for a $36 Android TV box next Benchmark we're going to run is 3D Mark we're going to be running ice storm Unlimited okay so in 3D Mark ice storm unlimited we only scored a 6,846 very low score but then again it's a $30 box it's nothing compared to the Nvidia Shield we'll just scroll down if you'd like to see this you can pause it here the last test I'm going to be running will be geekbench with geek bench 3 we scored a single core score of 617 and a multi-core score of 1824 overall this box is not bad for the price um at $36 and I'm in the US it's shipped from Maryland I'm in North Carolina and got here in 3 days very quick shipping price is perfect for what it is um in my next video what I'm going to do is disassemble this box we're going to add a heat sink and possibly a fan to see if we can push a little more performance out of this what happens is the s905 am logic CPU that's in this box will reach a certain temperature and then downclock the cores or just turn some cores off to bring the temperature back down therefore we lose a lot of performance from the CPU being hot with some extra cooling we may be able to get better scores and it will definitely handle games better and video playback so that's it for now guys link is in the description if you want to go ahead and check this out I've ordered from this company four times now never been messed up order comes on time and I'm actually thinking about ordering some more he has tons of these boxes different styles different variations and um yeah it's definitely worth the money quick edit here guys I am in no way affiliated with this eBay seller I have just had really good luck with him I'm not getting paid by him I don't get products for free from him I buy everything from him with my own money just wanted to put that out there I know it sounded like I'm kind of advertising but he's a great eBay seller and if I find somebody I like I recommend him to people really appreciate you guys watching if you could hit that like button and subscribe I got a lot more coming and like always thanks for watchinghey what's
