IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING...a Petrol Ped Car Meet !

**Petroped’s Meet and Greet Event: All Details You Need to Know**

Hey guys and welcome to Petroped! If you’ve guessed by the title of this video, yes—I’m announcing *finally* a meet and greet. Since I did my last one, which was a long time ago, probably a couple of years back, I’ve had so many comments asking when I’d do another one. In my recent video where I visited the new B Road Hunting Club HQ for the Cooper’s Mini Meet, I talked to Ed and Rog, who run the B Road Hunting Club. We discussed organizing a Petroped meet and greet there, and we’ve finally nailed down a date!

We want to try and do this while restrictions are lifted and before winter comes. So, mark your calendars—Saturday, October 3rd is the big day. The event will take place at the B Road Hunting Club HQ, located in Tunbridge, Kent, just south of Maidstone. I know it’s not perfect for everyone, as some might find it too far—after all, it’s a couple of hours’ drive for me—but there are some brilliant roads nearby.

Our main goal is to find a venue where we can host this event successfully. If it goes well and there’s interest in doing another one, I’ll look into hosting it further north and maybe schedule it for spring. For now, let’s focus on October 3rd.

**What to Expect at the Meet and Greet**

The meet will run from 10 o'clock in the morning until 1 o'clock in the afternoon. All cars are welcome—whether you drive a “worst shed” or the best supercar, we want to see as many pedal cars as possible! The venue has a nice big field next to the B Road Hunting Club HQ, so there should be ample space for everyone.

**Ticket Information**

First things first: there will be a charge for this event. I’m not making any money from it at all—this is purely for covering costs. We need to hire the field next to the club’s HQ, and we have to ensure COVID compliance by conducting track and trace properly.

We’re using Eventbrite for tickets. The cost per car is £8 if you book in advance. However, there’s a small administration fee, which brings it to £9.21. If you arrive on the day, the charge will be £10. This slight increase is because we’ll need to take your details and phone number for track and trace purposes.

**Special Offer**

To make things a bit more enjoyable, we’re offering a special panini and coffee bundle for £7—normally priced at £9. It’s a small way to help balance the costs of attending.

**Important Requests from Petroped**

I want to emphasize the importance of social distancing during the event. Since we’ll be taking lots of photos that will appear on Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, it’s crucial that we’re seen adhering to these guidelines.

Additionally, I kindly ask everyone to drive responsibly near the B Road Hunting Club HQ. The success of such events relies heavily on the support of the local community. If people are driving like idiots or doing burnouts, it could harm the club’s relationship with the locals. So, please arrive with grace and leave with respect—it’s a motto I truly admire.

**Reflections on Past Events**

Looking back, when I hosted my first meet and greet at Goodwood a few years ago, I only expected about 10 cars to show up. Instead, we had an incredible 80 cars! It was such a memorable day. For the second event, which I had to organize very late—a week before—it also turned out to be a huge success.

We’ve chosen this venue because it can accommodate probably a couple of hundred cars. Hopefully, that’s enough space for everyone who wants to attend.

**Cars and Accessories**

I’ll be bringing both my Minis—Charlie Clubman and Ruby Roadster—to the event. I’m also hoping a few other cars featured on my channel will make an appearance too. There will be plenty to look at and lots of like-minded people to chat with, so bring your lovely cars along for everyone to admire!

**Call to Action**

I don’t want to end up sitting in the car park alone—please come if you can! If you’re planning to attend, maybe even organize a convoy with friends. It would be fantastic to see as many of you there as possible.

**Additional Info**

I’ll post updates on all my social media platforms, so make sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook for more content. Also, check out the B Road Hunting Club’s page—they’ll be posting plenty about the event too.

If you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment below or email me directly—I’ve included my contact details in the description. I’m looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Saturday, October 3rd.

If you enjoyed this video, don’t forget to give it a thumbs up and subscribe for more content. I’ll catch you at the meet and greet—if not, I’ll see you in the next video! Drive safe and take care.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys and welcome to petroped now you will have guessed by the title of this video yes i'm announcing finally a meet and greet i've had so many comments since i did the last one which was a long time ago now a couple of years ago when are you going to do a meet and greet well if you saw my recent video where i went to the new b road hunting club hq for the coopers at cooper's mini meet in that video i talked to ed and rog who run b road hunting club and we talked about doing a petroped meet and greet there and we have finally nailed down a date because we want to try and do it while the restrictions and so on uh allow it and also before the winter comes so we're going to be doing a meet and greet at the b road hunting club hq on saturday the 3rd of october now their hq is in the tunbridge kent area it's just south of maidstone i know that's not perfect for everybody some of you won't be able to come because it's too far it's a couple of hours drive for me but there are some brilliant roads in the vicinity and i just wanted to try and get a venue where we could do one and then if it's successful and i think that there is you know legs if you like to do another one then i'll maybe look at a venue a little bit further up north and do something uh in the spring maybe but for now saturday the 3rd of october it's going to be from 10 o'clock in the morning until 1 o'clock in the afternoon um all cars welcome all makes and models from the worst shed to the best supercar it would just be great to see as many peddlers as possible turn up and we've got a nice big field next to the b road hunting club hq now i am there's a couple of reasons for this um there is going to be a charge now first things first to say i'm not making any money from this at all but we need to we have to hire the field next to the um hq b road hunting club hq building so there needs to be a charge and also for covid compliance it helps us with track and trace because we have to make sure that the event is fully covered compliant so i'm going to put a link in the description below we're doing the tickets through eventbrite now there's going to be an 8 pounds per car charge if you um book in advance now there is a small administration fee for that so it turns out being nine pounds 21 i think so um and then if you arrive on the day we will accept payment on the day of 10 pounds so it's a little bit more expensive on the day but again we'll need to take your details and your phone number for track and trace so that's why there's a charge it just covers administration and it covers the hiring of the field we are not making any money from that at all and then finally um what we are going to do is because they do amazing coffee at the at the hq building we're going to do a panini and coffee bundle special offer so uh seven pounds will get you a panini and a coffee and that's normally nine quid so we'll just try and uh sort of make it a little bit more uh palatable in terms of cost and that's it really it's super easy um there are a few things i would ask of anyone who's going to come um we just need to make sure that we all try and adhere to social distancing as much as possible because when the event runs there's going to be lots of pictures taken that will be on instagram and facebook and all the other social media platforms probably quite a few videos on youtube and i just want to make sure that we are seen to be doing the right thing so social distancing as much as we can and then also like all of these destination car venues the request really is can you just make sure certainly in the nearby vicinity of the beer hunting club hq that you drive in a responsible manner so arrive with grace leave with respect that is the little motto of the b road hunting club a2 i quite like that obviously you should be doing that wherever you drive but the the success of these businesses is very much based around the support of the local community so if there's people driving around like complete idiots or doing burnouts and just driving like plonkers then then the local support isn't going to last very long and then it's very difficult for businesses like uh ed and rogers to carry on so please if you can do that that would be amazing and then we'll just see uh how many of you turn up now the first and only meet and greet i did at goodwood a few years ago now i expected about 10 cars to turn up and we had about 80 cars it was an incredible day still a very fond memory of mine and then the second meet and greet organized i had to can very very late on about a week out because i just knew there were too many cars coming we've selected this venue because we've got room for probably a couple of hundred cars i would guess and hopefully that will be that will be sufficient but i'd love to see as many of you as as possible when you if you are gonna come make sure you come and say hello i'll have both of the minis there charlie clubman and ruby roadster will be there on display uh and i'm hoping to maybe get a few of the other cars that have uh featured on the channel uh friends cars and stuff to be there as well so there'll be plenty to look at plenty of like-minded people to chat i'm sure lots of people are going to bring lovely cars to to have a look around as well um but yes uh let's let's do this saturday the 3rd of october a petroped meet and greet please make it so that i don't want to be there and sat in the car park on my own i'd love as many of you to come as possible uh maybe even or you know get together and organize a little convoys down or something but it would be great to see you um but yeah it's happening again but a very short impromptu video i wanted to get the message out there i'll be putting posts on all my other social media platforms as well make sure you follow me on instagram and facebook and because i put lots of extra stuff out on there make sure you follow the b-road hunting club because they'll be um putting plenty of stuff out about it as well but check the link below if you've got any questions either drop a question in the comments or i'll put my email in the description below and you can email me directly but hopefully we'll see as many of you as we can on saturday third october but anyway i hope you enjoyed this one if you have done so please give me a thumbs up comments below are always welcome and if you haven't done so already please subscribe to petroped for plenty more content to come hopefully i'll see you at the meet and greet but i'll also catch you on the next video you take care drive safe uh\n"
