Let me ask you about what you saw Brian up there with Steve Jobs first of all specifically I don't want to speculate about Steve's health I haven't seen him in person in years but I was just shocked I think that's why people were so he got that standing ovation I think cuz people were just glad just literally glad to see him sure people are clearly excited to see Steve especially at these events unfortunately I do think that uh his physical appearance did take a little step down relative the last time that we saw him at the Apple and that was only back in January 5 months ago yeah that was the iPad 2 event so uh there was a noticeable step down in our view uh obviously we wish him a speedy recovery and we'll have to see what happens yeah um and and you know there is no more iconic CEO in all of business I'll argue similarly he is a guy who has so much to do with product development and the way products are developed and what they are when they're finally done
what did you see today when you looked at the products announced that struck you as particularly Apple well I think the iCloud or the iCloud service basically stole the show I mean clearly from day one uh the service offerings are much better than everybody expected uh so it's not just a digital Locker for your music uh or your documents but you're going to have iTunes in the cloud you're going to have documents in the cloud Photo Stream looks like a really compelling uh application so there there's going to be a lot there video will obviously be the next uh segment that we hear about going forward so iCloud looks pretty cool
um regarding Photo Stream I noticed that there was talk of you know the demonstrate how it works on the Apple TV a lot of the things about making this work better on Wi-Fi seem to be a lot of the ways the Apple TV device works I don't think Apple TV has been The Runaway success so most of our viewers probably don't know Apple TV very well I it's 100 bucks I have one in my house two in my house and there it is actually a very interesting product um do you see some of this as a way to try to pull Apple TV into the world the world of the 21 million I think it was was 25 million iPad users yep definitely I
I do see I do think that's going to be the case I mean clearly what Apple wants to do long term is be the first company that successfully seamlessly and by Wireless integrates the home office in the living room so you know they're out on a three-year product cycle 2004 we had the volume ramp of the iPod 2007 we obviously had the introduction of the iPhone 2010 the iPad 2013 could be an Apple TV that you put on the wall but clearly the Apple TV product that you reference is uh kind of a sort of a you know Pandora's Box we'll have to see what comes out of that now
they bagged the mobile me service at the has somewhere between they've I think there's a forest resment said 3 million users out there they're getting 100 bucks a year for that so that's not a small uh Revenue device um other analysts have been out there saying it could be as many as as 8 million users maybe more uh stopping a service that you're getting $100 a year for at such a massive scale the size of many other businesses entirely they're just saying forget it we're going to have it for free
does that change your numbers at all for the company not at all and nor does iCloud for that matter I mean if you look at it we've done some some brief sensitivities and at the end of the day we think that probably uh with a decent penetration this would add about 25 cents to our earnings of $30 in calendar 12 so yeah less than 1%
uh so it's not really going to move the needle clearly what drives apple is wait a minute this could take $300 million out of revenues I know it's a big company but if they just say you know what we're done with this business we're not going to take the money anymore that's got to lower your numbers and for some reason right well
I actually forecast $130 billion in Revenue next year so I think Apple will become the largest uh tech company in terms of uh Revenue generation next year so uh I mean we'll see what happens uh you know this coming period when they report the June numbers but uh you know my estimates are pretty conservative and I think they'll they'll probably beat those estimates
