BUDGET GAMING HEADSET REVIEW _ Sades SA-901
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys this is Chris with coalition gaming and today I'm gonna be reviewing the new Sadie's essay 9:01 budget gaming USB headset so I was looking to put together budget components for a build that I did I came across the Sade's gaming headset now I tracked one of these out rather my little brother tried one of these out not too long ago and wasn't too happy with the Microsoft microphone sensitivity it picked up a lot of stuff in the background didn't really have good noise reduction even though the sound quality and everything else about the headset was pretty good and it was thinking around a 30-ish dollar headset well we went even more budget than that I found the sadie's sa 9:01 USB headset and it came in at around 20 dollars so I was pretty impressed with it for the price the microphone sounded very clear now I'll do a mic test for you guys shortly and it has 40 millimeter drivers has abraded you of abraded USB cable inline volume and mic controller this is a headset right here the microphone folds up on it and so I can fold up and out of the way which is pretty nice it's got a good a good range of adjustment well a decent range of adjustment from there to there and the cable being three meters is sufficiently long really for any use the inline controller here pretty pretty clear pretty nice have a closer look there this is the inline controller it's got buttons for volume microphone control and muting so on a pretty nice little remote especially being in line I like that my main gripe with this headset is that the ear cups are a little small so if I put them on it rests on my ears so this is for smaller ears if you have bigger ears then headsets probably not for you because over extended periods of time it will it will start to hurt on your ears you ever if you ever been through that it's very uncomfortable you have to take breaks and it's like that so generally for if you have bigger ears you want to go with a bigger Cup but this one as far as just your budget gaming headset or spare headset it's you know it's pretty good actually like the overall build quality is nice it feels solid doesn't feel plastic he doesn't feel like it's gonna break the boom mechanism feels nice and sturdy microphone not being a like a bendable one is pretty good as because you're not gonna bend it any wrong way and ruin a cable inside it's just down or up down or down or up yeah very simple I haven't verified where they're putting it up mutes it or not but you always have the inline controller for that now I'm not exactly an audiophile so I can't really comment too much I'm like the finer quality of audio with this headset but as a gamer and as a gaming headset to me it sounds perfectly fine with additional software that you would get from the Sadie's website or the included disc you get the software for that that would allow Virtual Surround to be turned on as well as customizable speakers positions in within this and you can finally tune where your back speakers are our front speakers so on and so forth within it and that's really nice that you can do that you could also adjust microphone settings mic boosts and other things and it's a very lightweight software which is a big thing with me you know I don't like loading up any extra software for hardware that I just want the stuff to work by itself and the software being minimal is very nice if you did if you've dealt with other headsets other like kind of Chinese headsets like this one or like the senti headsets centi arches for example which is what I use as my main headset it's basically the same exact software so let's get to the mic test now okay so now we're doing the mic test so everything you're hearing right now is coming through this microphone I have my computer running behind me and my computer's not all that loud to begin with really so it's not really a measure of background noise but this is how the microphone sounds and when I heard it I was actually really impressed with the quality of it I've had much more expensive headset sounds way worse than this one my friends had a game with you know what I'm talking about the that was the microphone on the razer TM at 7.10 garbage this one outclasses it and there's a $20 headset so it's pretty impressive it sounds pretty clear really happy with it alright so really concludes my review there really isn't a whole lot for me to talk about with this headset for 20 bucks if you have smaller ears it's a perfectly good headset if you're a gamer on a budget it's perfectly good headset they also have one available with blue instead of raw all the red that you see they have it available in blue if that's more your color but overall really happy with the headset for the money definitely would recommend it if you're really on a budget if you have bigger ears don't get it and it's gonna be uncomfortable 40 millimeter drivers 3 meter cable braided cable inline controller overall this has a lot of nice little features just a nice little nice little things going on for it and the price is great if you wanted to the spare headset - that's definitely worth considering so anyways this is Chris with coalition gaming if you guys liked this video give it a thumbs up if you disliked it do the thumbs down leave a comment let's talk about it subscribe if you
