Making My Fall TBR: A Weighing of Options and Fears
As I sit down to discuss my fall TBR, I must admit that I'm a bit behind on getting to some of these books. One author who has been on my radar for quite some time is Swedish author Frederick Bachman. His writing style has always captivated me, and many people have praised his book "Brit" as one of their favorites from last year. Although I've heard great things about Bachman's work, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get to any of his books before the end of the year. One book that interests me is "Bit M," which seems to be a more popular choice among fans than some of Bachman's other works.
I also want to tackle another author who has been recommended to me by several people - Frederick Bachman. His writing style is known for being unique and captivating, so I'm eager to see if his books live up to the hype. Another book that I've heard great things about is "A Man Called OA," which is also written by Bachman. This one seems like a slightly different take on his usual work, but it still has the same level of writing quality that I've come to expect from him.
In addition to reading more Bachman, I'm also looking to tackle some other books that have been on my TBR for quite some time. One author who has been getting a lot of attention lately is Frederick Bachman, and one book that stands out as a favorite among fans is "Brit." Although I've heard great things about this book, I'm still not sure if I'll be able to get to it before the end of the year.
Another thing that's causing me some stress when it comes to my TBR is my tendency to read books in the wrong order. In particular, I seem to have gotten ahead of myself and am now reading a book out of sequence. I'm not sure if this will be a problem for any of the books on my list, but it's something that I need to keep an eye on as I make my way through my TBR.
In terms of other books that I want to read in the fall, there are several authors and titles that stand out. One author who has been getting a lot of attention lately is Car Maniscalco, and one book that catches my eye is "Stocking Jack The River." This one seems like it would be perfect for the fall season, with its themes of autumn and stalking the serial killer Jack the Ripper. I'm not sure if this will be a problem to read at all, but I do know that I want to tackle it before the end of the year.
Another book that I've been looking forward to reading is "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. While I'm a bit behind on getting to some of Stoker's works, I have heard great things about this one and am eager to see if it lives up to my expectations. This one seems like it would be perfect for the fall season, with its themes of vampires and the supernatural. However, there is another book that I want to read before "Dracula" - Car Maniscalco's "Saving for October." This one seems like it would be a great choice for the fall season, with its themes of autumn and stalking the serial killer Jack the Ripper.
I've also been looking forward to reading some classic literature this year. One book that stands out is "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" by Lewis Carroll. While I'm not always successful when it comes to reading classics, I do think that this one would be a great choice for the fall season. Another book that I want to read before the end of the year is "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells. This one seems like it would be perfect for the fall season, with its themes of science fiction and time travel.
In terms of my reading goals for the year, I've always been someone who sets high standards for myself when it comes to my TBRs. While many people seem to enjoy reading classics, I've found that this is not always an easy task for me. In fact, I'd say that I'm pretty bad at reading classics - out of 10 attempts, I've only managed to finish one or two books. Despite this, I do think that some classic literature could be a great choice for the fall season, and I'm eager to see if I can finally get into one of them.
So, with all of these options in mind, my TBR list is starting to take shape. While there are still some unknown quantities - particularly when it comes to classics like "The Time Machine" and "The Book Thief" - I do feel like I have a good sense of what I want to tackle before the end of the year. Whether or not I'll be able to stick to my TBR is anyone's guess, but one thing is for sure: I'm excited to see what the fall season has in store for me.
