When I recently decided to upgrade my workout gear, I knew I needed a new pair of headphones that would keep up with my active lifestyle. That's when I stumbled upon the Beats X, Apple's latest offering in wireless earbuds. As I unwrapped these sleek earbuds from their packaging, I couldn't help but feel excited about trying them out.

that compelled me to buy the Beats X and I want to share those with you guys now I went to the Apple store to get a few cases Apple watch bands and I ended up buying these because they offer a few things that these do not of course these are over the- ear headphones the beat solo 3 with Apple's W1 chip but the beat X also offer the brand new Apple W1 chip easy pairing up but they're more comfortable for the things that I want to use them for let's go ahead and take a quick look around the box and in the back here we have a few things of course the Bluetooth easy connecting to iOS Apple devices it also works with Android devices for those of you who are wondering you also have up to 8 hours of battery life you also have a fast fuel which 5 minutes equals to 2 hours of battery life now with the beat solo 3 you do get let's go ah and take a look here at the boxes you do get here the 5 minutes with 3 hours of play play back and over here you get 5 minutes and 2 hours of playback so pretty similar stuff going on there battery wise you get up to 40 hours okay so 40 hours of playback on these bad boys here and that is why I love these These are really good for traveling watching movies and all that good stuff but these are really good for like the gym and you also have the removable Wings here for the earbuds so you can go ahead and remove them for better fit you also have a flex cable and you have controls for music and also a buil TR microphone and for controls for your phone calls when you go to the gym so let's go ahead and open it up Beach logo there let's go ahead and open this up have a tab right there slide open and that's it all right so let's go ahead and take this in here let's take this out and you get a lot of things in here you get different size tips right there they are let's go ahead and open these up here show you what they look like so very nice packaging of course Apple's presentation is always good here are some of the tips that you get for different sizes and of course you get the little uh wing tips as well for better uh stability or so they can stay better in your ear when you go to workout and things like that and that's the difference between uh the solo 3 and the Beats X I've been going to the gym more I've been active so I want to stay active and I wanted to get these because they're going to help me do just that and uh with these I can still watch my favorite movies when I go traveling uh maybe TV shows YouTube and all that good stuff because it has such a large battery capacity on these a price difference is drastic okay so this are 2.99 300 bucks and these are 150 so that's also a major major difference there so in here you also have the USB to lightning connection now that's one of the things I didn't really like about the solo 3s for whatever reason Apple decided to go with a micro USB connection uh and um I don't know why with these you have Apple's lightning Connection in USB so whatever apple lightning cable that you have will work no matter where you go if you forget this you'll still be able to plug in your headphones to charge them because you'll most likely have your iPhone cable with you so that's a plus for the uh beats X in my opinion one things that's a major plus is the little pouch so you can uh carry around all your earbuds just like that you can put them in there and we'll get to that in a second and looks like that's everything inside of the box you also have some paperwork in here now the Beast X do come with a 3mon free subscription of Apple music so you can get 3 months of Apple music absolutely free with those and you also have in here some paperwork and a sticker a nice sticker I'm going to use that oh that's what's also in here so more paperwork more paperwork and that's it okay so that's it now let's get back to the Beats X themselves let's go ahead and open this up and let's get them out of here so there they are I like the the darker color the black colors that's my thing as you can see my Apple watch there my uh original iPhone or the one that's my daily driver the 7 plus there is a black and gold I like those combinations let's take a look here at the earbuds themselves here you have them very nice all right so let's go down the cable here and see we have some controls here we also have right here's where you charge them that's where you're going to plug in this little cable thing here with the lightning and that's another plus because cuz like I mentioned you just have all your cables with you if you have the iPhone cable with you you can still charge these and you also have your music controls uh volume up and down so you can see there's clickable and then this one here in the center for play pause let's look at the final there they are all right so let's go ahead and try to connect these to the iPhone so the Bluetooth connection piece is right here is this one that I showed you the controls there you have two you have the one for the music that I showed you and then the one for the blue all you have to do is go ahead and hold it sorry I got the wrong piece this one here uh go ahead and hold it down and it should show up here on your iPhone the easiest pairing process ever that's it boom done the great thing about this is all of your other Apple products as long as they're in the same Apple ID they're all sync and they're all connected already to the same headphones because it works through the cloud now sound quality and all that that's always something that uh you know is determined by the user some people like bass some people like less bass but they also have a magnetic latch just like that so when they're on your neck magnetically attached and then they're safe they don't go
