First Look at the Newly Announced Pixel: A Review of the 5-Inch Screen Pack in Little Brother to the 5.5-Inch Pixel XL
John Rener from Techno Buffalo here at a real quick first look at the just announced pixel, this is the 5-in screen pack in little brother to the 5.5-inch Pixel XL, all done up in limited edition very blue. You're going to have black and silver variants as well. Let's go ahead and turn this thing on and show you a little bit about what's new here.
Of course, Android 7.0 Nougat is here on board, uh as well also the first phone to launch with the new Google Assistant built on board. Here are a few other things to note the UI has been redone at least the launcher has got the new pixel launcher here on board, Le that's what we think Google's going to be calling it so no more app jewelry just kind of swipe up and get access to all your apps. I will say his 5-in screen looks gorgeous much better than any other uh Nexus phone I've seen I think on par with Samsung's AMOLED screens uh as well.
Quick charge is going to be here, going to give you about 7 hours of B life about 15 minutes uh charging via US DC with dual speakers on the bottom, 3.5 mm headset Jack on top. You be able to buy this guy unlocked but it's going to launch at least carrier wise uh with Verizon on the left hand side that's where your sim cards are going to live on the right hand side you've got a power and lock button and volume rocker and of course that is where your fingerprint set are going to live on the back. A lot of talk about that guy, the camera it's a 12.3 megapixel sensor with f2.0 aperture with no camera hump which is really nice to see uh for a CH the leaks didn't necessar do this guy Justice they look absolutely beautiful uh in the hand way better than what we've seen uh in the past.
So the takeaway here these phones are thin light powerful Snapdragon 821 4 gigs of RAM and the screens now look really good and supposedly these cameras are absolute Ballers so I'm excited to get this guy in the lab and to check it out.
