Unboxing the Intensity Pro: A Comprehensive Overview
Hey guys, War you D PR here from Tech social.com with a very quick unboxing of the intensity Pro this is an HDMI and analog HD/SD editing card but it's not only for editing it's also for importing and capturing which is why I got this. This will be used on my old Xbox 360 which is now hooked up to my Asus monitor and it actually looks great over VGA. It's going to look even better when I change the input eventually uh but for now it's going to be good enough.
The Intensity Pro is a versatile device that not only serves as an editing card but also enables importing and capturing of video content. Its compact size belies its capabilities, making it an attractive option for users looking to upgrade their editing setup. I'm excited to put this device through its paces and explore all the features it has to offer.
Let's take a closer look at what's included in the box. As expected, there is the actual card itself, which is surprisingly small considering its capabilities. The device also comes with software and manuals, which should provide users with everything they need to get started. However, I did notice that the drivers are not included, instead opting for a download-based approach. According to online sources, this is because the latest drivers are more compatible with certain systems.
One thing that struck me about the Intensity Pro is its affordability. Priced at around $200 on Amazon, it's an investment that won't break the bank. While it may not look like much at first glance, this device packs a punch when it comes to video editing and capturing capabilities. Blackmagic design has certainly done their research, as this device is designed to meet the needs of both professionals and hobbyists alike.
Now that we've taken a closer look at what's included in the box, let's move on to the actual card itself. As I mentioned earlier, it's surprisingly small considering its capabilities. The breakout cable, which includes components and RCA audio jacks, is also provided. However, I did notice that an HDMI cable is not included - likely because the manufacturer assumes users already have one.
I'm new to captioning cards, so I'll be learning as I go along with this device. Currently, I use a Hall POG 1212 HDPVR with my 360, but now that it's hooked up to my Mac Pro, I can finally upgrade to a capture card like the Intensity Pro. My hall POG is currently on eBay, and I'm just waiting for it to be paid for - but that's a story for another time.
Before we wrap up this unboxing, let me give you a quick tour of the device's features. The breakout cable includes a keyboard connector, as well as HDMI in and out ports. This will allow users to monitor their footage in Final Cut Pro or other video editing software, as well as output it to a monitor for playback.
Overall, I'm excited to put the Intensity Pro through its paces and see what it has to offer. Its compact size belies its capabilities, making it an attractive option for users looking to upgrade their editing setup. With its affordability and versatility, this device is sure to please both professionals and hobbyists alike. Stay tuned for my installation video, where I'll be sharing my experience with the Intensity Pro in more detail.

you want to be in the video Jazz you always got to be jingling um so this is definitely compatible with the old Xbox 360 as well as the uh new Xbox 360 in case you are wondering so let's see what we have in the Box here this is the actual card it is very small and of course yes I will be doing an installation video separately we also have some software and manual that hence the obvious title right there these should be the drivers however I read online that you should not install these and just download them instead because apparently they're newer or they're more compatible something like that I don't know I'll confirm that during my installation video hopefully and of course a welcome to Blackmagic design by the way this thing costs about $200 on Amazon so it's definitely not cheap considering what it looks like I mean it doesn't look like much but it really does do a lot uh for not only capturing but as well as um video editors too so so and here is where the fun begins for the shadow action there you go and of course it does include this should be the HDMI cable actually it's not the HDMI oh okay never mind it obviously makes sense for them to not include an HDMI cable because they assume you already have one you're using a device so that makes total sense and another cable um is this s video Yeah reading the box I don't think this is a cable I'll need I'm not totally sure but of course I'll find out along the way this is all new to me and a captioning card because as you may know or may not know I'm not sure I do currently use the hall Pok uh 1212 hdpvr with my 360 but now that it's hooked up to my Mac Pro I can finally graduate to the capture card such as this and yes my hall POG is on eBay I believe it's already sold I'm just waiting for it to be be uh paid for but anyway guys that's it actually you know what before we go let me open up the bag real quick just to show you the actual card CU I'm sure that's the whole reason you viewing this doing on screen um in terms of monitoring in Final Cut Pro uh but also well output to your monitor so very cool it's very tiny card for $200 but it's pretty powerful from what I read online and this is like the card most people have as far as I know so all right now I'm done guys thanks for watching I will see you in the installation video very soon check out my social media links right below the
