DOLLAR TREE DIY _ FARMHOUSE GUEST BATHROOM DECORATE & ORGANIZE

Tackling the Overhead Cabinet Space and Guest Bathroom Organization

I've started by tackling the overhead cabinet space in my guest bathroom, and I've decided to use some Dollar Tree organization bins to keep everything tidy. I chose khaki-colored bins that fit perfectly into the existing design of the cabinet. To fill them up, I've gathered a variety of products from my recent Dollar Tree haul, including facial wipes and serums. While I doubt many of my guests will be using these products during their visit, I know they'll come in handy for future use.

To add a touch of organization to the space, I've placed the bins inside the cabinet, creating a sense of order and structure. The Dollar Tree bins have proven to be an excellent solution for keeping my guest bathroom tidy without breaking the bank. Next, I moved on to the under-sink area, where I needed to tackle some clutter. I realized that I was missing two more of the large round bends that would hold candles in place, so I made a mental note to return and acquire them.

For now, I've filled the under-sink area with some of my favorite Dollar Tree goodies, including facial wipes and serums. These products may not be essential for every guest, but they'll certainly come in handy when I need them. The goal is to create a welcoming and organized space that feels like home, even if it's just for a short visit.

Moving on to Decorating the Guest Bathroom

As I worked on organizing my guest bathroom, I couldn't help but notice the decor that was already present in the room. I had a beautiful piece of decor from a couple of years ago that I had been saving up for the right moment. Today seemed like the perfect opportunity to incorporate it into my design.

I decided to go for a Tuscan farmhouse look with a more farmhouse twist, as I'm not entirely sure about this style. The decor is still in its original form, but it adds a touch of warmth and coziness to the space. As I looked around the room, I realized that the decor was in need of some freshening up, so I decided to add some greenery to bring in a pop of color.

I dropped a white bath mat on the floor, which adds a sense of softness and luxury to the space. The mat is also very easy to clean, which is a must for a guest bathroom. Next, I pulled out my trusty shower curtain, which has been sitting in my stash since last time we renovated this room.

I chose a new shower curtain that combines elements of both Tuscan farmhouse and farmhouse styles. It's a beautiful addition to the space, adding texture and visual interest to the room. The overall effect is one of cozy sophistication, making it feel like a warm and inviting retreat for my guests.

A DIY Project Using Dollar Tree Items

For this segment, I decided to showcase a simple DIY project using items from Dollar Tree. One of the things that caught my eye was a beautiful new jar that I picked up at the store. It has a lovely farmhouse look that fit perfectly with my overall aesthetic.

To add some visual interest to the space, I filled the jar with Dial soap cubes. The idea was to create a decorative element that added a touch of personality to the guest bathroom. By cutting the soap into small cubes, it created a unique and visually appealing effect that added to the overall charm of the room.

The best part about this DIY project is that it's incredibly easy to do. Simply fill the jar with the soap cubes, place it on a shelf or in a cabinet, and voilà! You have a beautiful decorative piece that adds a touch of warmth and character to your guest bathroom. The fact that it's inexpensive and easy to make makes it an excellent solution for any homeowner looking to add some personality to their space.

Adding the Final Touches

As I worked on finalizing my guest bathroom makeover, I added a few more touches to complete the look. One of the things that stood out was the shelf that I had salvaged from my previous home. It provided a convenient spot for storing towels and other essentials without taking up too much space.

To add some extra greenery to the space, I dropped in some fresh plants around the room. The addition of these plants brings in a touch of natural beauty and helps to brighten up the space. Finally, I added a few hand towels on top of the shelf, which added a pop of color and texture to the room.

The final result is a beautiful guest bathroom that feels warm and welcoming. With its unique blend of farmhouse charm and cozy sophistication, it's sure to be a hit with any guests who visit. The Dollar Tree organization bins, decorative soap jar, and simple DIY project all came together to create a space that feels like home – at least for a short time, anyway!

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys welcome back to my channel today I am focusing on finishing my guest bathroom decorating it and organizing it I just moved into my new house and I've been doing a lot of new decorating so this was one of the first areas that I tackle is just the easiest for me to do first in the house and I went made a trip to Dollar Tree we're also gonna do a DIY in this video as well it's pretty small but I really love how it turned out small but makes them impact mom but that's just my opinion so first I'm tackling the overhead cabinet space and just putting in some Dollar Tree organization bins I went with this like khaki colored and just got some of those things filled up in there and then I started to tackle the under the sink I actually need to go back and get two more of the big round bends that you see here to put the candles inside so for today's video we're just gonna focus on the right side where I'm gonna fill it up with some of my recent Dollar Tree goodies that I found that I knew would be perfect for a guest bathroom so just some facial wipes and serums and things like that I mean I doubt that so many of my guests are gonna come in you know and like do a whole facial I guess really it's just so much more for me it doesn't make any sense right just put in my bathroom but listen this is how I'm doing it and that's what's going down so I'm putting in all of those things love my Dollar Tree store and getting them organized and again I'll go back and get two more of those round bends and then organize the candles that you see there on the left-hand side and just get the under the sink nice and organized now we're gonna go into some decorating before we head into the DIY which is next I'm not quite sure about this piece I already had this decor lying around in my stash you know from a couple years ago and I decided to put it up here I'm going for a Tuscan farmhouse but more farmhouse than Tuscan so I'm not quite sure comment let me know how you feel but let's get into our dollar tree DIY again like I mentioned is very simple I really think that all of my Dollar Tree DIYs are on that simple level just because I don't want to you know spend too much time doing extravagant things so I really love how this turned out I just have this beautiful new jar that I found at Dollar Tree very farmhouse looking and then I picked up some Dial soap also at Dollar Tree and cut them into cubes I thought it'd be really cute to do that and then fill it into the jar and put it in the guest bathroom and then even though there is the pump soap it's this soap that I'm cutting is merely merely decorative but if you wanted to do it you know your guests could just reach into the jar and pull out one little cube and wash their hands with it so I think it really gives it a farmhouse look at least it does in my opinion so I'm just gonna fill the jar as you see here no and then we're gonna transport this cute DIY very country into my guest bathroom this guest bathroom has less countertop space than the guest bathroom in my last house so what I did to create a guest more countertop space I mean it's not technically countertop I put up the shelf this shelf was actually in my office in the last house and I really loved how gorgeous it looks in here yes it does block the mirror a little bit but it is a guest bathroom so it's not like a quote-unquote fully functional space that needs to be it's not a space that needs to be fully functional I guess is what I'm trying to say so I just think it's perfect in here I added a more greenery just to brighten up and bring green up to that height and then you can see I put the jar there and then added some hand towels those are also probably decorative just because I already have one hanging by the sink and then I have the bigger towel on the towel rack so again the ones that I put on top I just think are just to take up some space up there and make it look pretty then I dropped a white bat mat on the ground it's really soft and plush and I really loved that I went with white it's really crisp and brightens up all the beige and cream that I'm doing here and then I put up a new shower curtain it's very similar to the one I just took down I just didn't want as many ruffles and I wanted it to have a combination of that Tuscan farmhouse and I think that that shower curtain really did it and that's pretty much it there is a part one so you're seeing other things in this video that you didn't see me like deck right here but there is a part one to this so I will link it down below so you can see how the the decorating process of it all please give this video a thumbs up comment let me know your thoughts on the shower curtain also tell me what you think about the piece above the toilet I'm still on the fence about it and I just think that it's I don't know I'm just not quite sure so that's it thank you guys so much for watching this video
