Tackling the Overhead Cabinet Space and Guest Bathroom Organization
I've started by tackling the overhead cabinet space in my guest bathroom, and I've decided to use some Dollar Tree organization bins to keep everything tidy. I chose khaki-colored bins that fit perfectly into the existing design of the cabinet. To fill them up, I've gathered a variety of products from my recent Dollar Tree haul, including facial wipes and serums. While I doubt many of my guests will be using these products during their visit, I know they'll come in handy for future use.
To add a touch of organization to the space, I've placed the bins inside the cabinet, creating a sense of order and structure. The Dollar Tree bins have proven to be an excellent solution for keeping my guest bathroom tidy without breaking the bank. Next, I moved on to the under-sink area, where I needed to tackle some clutter. I realized that I was missing two more of the large round bends that would hold candles in place, so I made a mental note to return and acquire them.
For now, I've filled the under-sink area with some of my favorite Dollar Tree goodies, including facial wipes and serums. These products may not be essential for every guest, but they'll certainly come in handy when I need them. The goal is to create a welcoming and organized space that feels like home, even if it's just for a short visit.
Moving on to Decorating the Guest Bathroom
As I worked on organizing my guest bathroom, I couldn't help but notice the decor that was already present in the room. I had a beautiful piece of decor from a couple of years ago that I had been saving up for the right moment. Today seemed like the perfect opportunity to incorporate it into my design.
I decided to go for a Tuscan farmhouse look with a more farmhouse twist, as I'm not entirely sure about this style. The decor is still in its original form, but it adds a touch of warmth and coziness to the space. As I looked around the room, I realized that the decor was in need of some freshening up, so I decided to add some greenery to bring in a pop of color.
I dropped a white bath mat on the floor, which adds a sense of softness and luxury to the space. The mat is also very easy to clean, which is a must for a guest bathroom. Next, I pulled out my trusty shower curtain, which has been sitting in my stash since last time we renovated this room.
I chose a new shower curtain that combines elements of both Tuscan farmhouse and farmhouse styles. It's a beautiful addition to the space, adding texture and visual interest to the room. The overall effect is one of cozy sophistication, making it feel like a warm and inviting retreat for my guests.
A DIY Project Using Dollar Tree Items
For this segment, I decided to showcase a simple DIY project using items from Dollar Tree. One of the things that caught my eye was a beautiful new jar that I picked up at the store. It has a lovely farmhouse look that fit perfectly with my overall aesthetic.
To add some visual interest to the space, I filled the jar with Dial soap cubes. The idea was to create a decorative element that added a touch of personality to the guest bathroom. By cutting the soap into small cubes, it created a unique and visually appealing effect that added to the overall charm of the room.
The best part about this DIY project is that it's incredibly easy to do. Simply fill the jar with the soap cubes, place it on a shelf or in a cabinet, and voilà! You have a beautiful decorative piece that adds a touch of warmth and character to your guest bathroom. The fact that it's inexpensive and easy to make makes it an excellent solution for any homeowner looking to add some personality to their space.
Adding the Final Touches
As I worked on finalizing my guest bathroom makeover, I added a few more touches to complete the look. One of the things that stood out was the shelf that I had salvaged from my previous home. It provided a convenient spot for storing towels and other essentials without taking up too much space.
To add some extra greenery to the space, I dropped in some fresh plants around the room. The addition of these plants brings in a touch of natural beauty and helps to brighten up the space. Finally, I added a few hand towels on top of the shelf, which added a pop of color and texture to the room.
The final result is a beautiful guest bathroom that feels warm and welcoming. With its unique blend of farmhouse charm and cozy sophistication, it's sure to be a hit with any guests who visit. The Dollar Tree organization bins, decorative soap jar, and simple DIY project all came together to create a space that feels like home – at least for a short time, anyway!
