Marvo Scorpion H8321P Stereo Sound Gaming Headset Review

Marvo Scorpion H8 3 2 1 P Stereo Gaming Headset Review

The Marvo Scorpion H8 3 2 1 P stereo gaming headset has a 40 millimeter driver and comes with a comfortable thick rotatable mic. Unfortunately, there's no way to see the physical product on the front of the box due to its design, which is a shame as it makes it difficult to gauge the actual product without relying solely on pictures. The side of the box tells you that it has stereo sound, 30 millimeter drivers, deep bass, volume control, and a flexible mic.

On the other side of the box, there's more information about the headset, including its wired design, comfortable ear cups, telescopic headband, and rotatable microphone. The branding is also prominently displayed on top of the headset, along with another picture for added visual appeal. The back of the box provides even more details, such as the material used for the jumpsuits that come with the headset.

When we take a closer look at the product itself, it comes in two three and a half mil jumpsuits, which are somewhat unnecessary considering their minimal functionality. There's also a little plastic cover on top that seems to serve no purpose. One thing that is notable is the lack of volume control on the cable, as it's not braided and instead has rubberized connections that connect directly into the headset. The headset itself is dual extendable, which provides some flexibility but does make it feel a bit flimsy.

The ear cups are quite soft, but they do tend to press in slightly towards the bottom of the ears due to the band's design. This can be uncomfortable for some users, as everyone's head shape and size is different. Despite this, the headset does fit comfortably onto larger heads. The volume control on the side is adjustable, allowing users to customize their audio experience.

The mic on the Scorpion H8 3 2 1 P is rotatable, which means it can be adjusted to suit individual preferences. However, there's no muffler or detachable component attached to the mic. Another notable feature that's missing from this headset is RGB lighting, which has become a standard feature in many gaming headsets.

As for sound quality, we conducted an informal test using our studio mic and webcam. When we switched back to the Scorpion H8 3 2 1 P microphone on the headset, we could hear a noticeable difference in audio quality compared to our regular mic. While it's not exceptional by any means, the sound is still clear and audible, albeit with some slight tininess.

One thing that became apparent during testing was how challenging it can be to hear certain sounds, particularly whispers or soft murmurs. The headset did manage to pick up these sounds fairly well, but they were sometimes difficult to distinguish from ambient noise. Overall, the sound quality on this headset is decent but not outstanding, making it a solid choice for those on a budget.

The headset's price point of £99 is relatively competitive in the market, especially considering its sound quality and features. However, when you compare it to more premium headsets that offer superior sound quality and additional features like RGB lighting, it becomes clear that this option may not be the best value for money.

In terms of comfort, some users may find the headset's design to be less than ideal due to the pressure on their ears. The soft ear cups are a nice touch, but they can't fully compensate for the discomfort caused by the band's grip. As mentioned earlier, everyone's head shape and size is different, so it's possible that some users will find this headset more comfortable than others.

The build quality of the Scorpion H8 3 2 1 P is somewhat lacking, particularly around the point where the cable connects to the headset. This area seems prone to wear and tear, which could lead to a reduction in the headset's overall lifespan. When combined with the flimsy feel of the headset itself, this can make it seem like the Scorpion H8 3 2 1 P is not built to last.

Overall, the Marvo Scorpion H8 3 2 1 P stereo gaming headset is an okay product that offers decent sound quality and features at a relatively affordable price. However, its comfort and build quality are somewhat lacking, which may make it less appealing to some users.

unfortunately there's no way you can actually see the physical product there's no door on the front which is a shame because they're mice generally does this problem does not allow you to see what it looks like other than the pictures that's a bit of a shame on the side it tells you is stereo sound 30 millimeter driver deep bass your volume control and flexible mic on the other side it's just got the branding on the top it shows you another picture on the back you've got a bit more information on there for example wired comfortable ear cups telescopic headband rotatable microphone and two three and a half mil junks okay let's have a look at the product itself you comes with two three and a half mil jumpsuits you've got a little plastic covers over there not sure why you bother with those but there we go there is no volume control on the cable the cables not braided it's just rubberized and it connects directly into the headset a little wobbly but I'm not sure if that connection would actually relax that one but we'll see we see a lot of headsets where they break there and to be that doesn't seem very sturdy at all the headset dual extend so it gives you a bit of room it's quite flexible just feel a little flimsy though it does fit easily onto a larger head and you've got your volume control on the side the mic is rotatable so you can adjust it to however you want there's no muffler on the end or anything like that there's no detachable no RGB lighting tells you there is left and right otherwise it's pretty much it there isn't really that much to talk about I've quit listen of it and let you know how it sounds okay first thing of all we'll test the microphone I'm currently talking on my studio mic on my boo previously on the live video you I was actually talking using a rode videomic pro Plus now this is what my Logitech will sound like next that's a Logitech webcam and then we'll test the scorpion h8 3 2 1 P to see what it sounds like this is using the h8 3 2 1 P microphone on the headset okay I'm back talking to you on my studio mic now as you could hear there is a bit of a difference in the quality but it is audible and you can actually hear clearly what's going on so it's not too bad but if you've really compare it and the headset is worth 9 pounds ninety-nine and the studio mic I'm using is worth hell of a lot more sound quality was okay and less about it didn't sound brilliant but it wasn't too tinny so you could hear everything what was going off clearly and the sounds were loud enough one or two spots where whispering was going off it was quite hard to hear what was happening the headset wasn't the most comfortable I found that digged in just below my ears obviously everyone's head is slightly different so some people might find it more comfortable than others the actual ear cups the cells were quite soft but it was just the pressure of the way the actual band pushed it in towards the bottom of the ears overall it's an okay product nothing really special though to be honest with you and the build quality especially around where the cable connects to the headset seems a little bit flimsy and they won't be surprised if that broke pretty easilyMarvo scorpion h8 3 2 1 P stereo gaming headset it's got a 40 millimeter driver comfortable thick rotatable mic have a quick look at the box so on the front
