The Art of Making Decoration Cakes with Happy Kitchen Kits
So, I'm trying out this new happy kitchen kit and it's actually pretty cool because we have to make small cakes. Chai means small, so we have that and then add water - take your measurings spoon and use two level scoops of water into the large container, one two and just one for the other one and give those a good stir with your spoon. Okay, so once you have those well combined make sure you get them all the powder mixed in with the water.
We're going to microwave it 500 watt oven to microwave oven 60 seconds and 600 watt 50 seconds. But what I've noticed in the past with these kits is that they tend to get really easily overcooked, so what I recommend is using um reducing the power on your microwave maybe 50% power and doing 10c increments that way you won't overcook your cake or whatever you're cooking. Um so that's what I'm going to do.
So, I'll be right back, so I'm just giving a little bit of a push it looks like the cake um is ready to pop out you see so just give it a little push and it should come out pretty easily careful you don't want to break it. The next step is we're going to make these little jellied strawberries to the small tray and add one scoop of water and give that a good stir, and immediately it already starts starting to kind of congeal strawberry gel and fill our little trays okay so there you have your three little strawberries very cute.
Now, we're going to decorate the cake. We're going to use the vanilla banilla cream Namo we're going to put in a large tray and mix two scoops of water. This is for the vanilla icing, and in the small tray now we're going to make the Ichigo cream so, roll the neck of your Piping Bag down and scoop as much of your icing into the bottom corner of the bag as possible try to keep it neat we put a layer of white icing on top and kind of smooth it out kind of and a little bit over the edge with the cake you can do this however you want there's no Rhyme or Reason to it just depends on how fancy you want to get with it.
Stack our little cake right on top, cute more of that white frosting. Okay so there's the frosted cake at this point it's not that exciting rosette here in the middle a little flower little guy like that little Loops all around the perimeter and then you can add a little candy bead at each intersection sorry sort of out of shot there a little bit more so maybe I'll put some hearts.
So, there you have it there's a little cakey with a strawberry toppings and the dra is on top little hearts on the side it reminds me a lot of the Happy kitchen cupcake um just a different shape so if you tried that one you may want to skip on this one because it's I think essentially the same thing except for the jellied uh strawberries that's different. Let's try it let's cut our little little Masterpiece so ooh it's got a little bit of resistance it's a little bit rubbery it feels there's a bite let's try it here we go with the doos.
It's not bad, it tastes like chiffon cake or sponge cake it's got kind of that wet spongy texture and the icing is very sweet it tastes um just tastes like plain sugar really kind of like powdered sugar. It's kind of got a a little bit of a gelled um consistency and let's for the sake of tasting let's try one of the strawberries M, it tastes a lot like Jello-O strawberry Jell-O and kind of the consistency of Jell-O very wet and um jelly so you know but all in all this would be super fun for any kid I'm sure it's AIT like an easy bake oven or something very satisfying.
So that was that, that's decoration cakey finally because I'm at Grammys and I have a microwave I can actually make decoration cakey.
