The Importance of Using the Correct Settings with the Te Glass X8H and USB 2 Hub
Chris here with the Te Glass X8H in front of me and this four port USB 2 Hub that allows you to simultaneously charge and use all of the ports. A lot of people have been having trouble with these, and I've found that the best thing to do is to turn off the system or restart it before connecting up everything and using Point number two on the hub. This setting seems to work well if you're using position one as a basic hub that doesn't charge.
Using Position Two on the Hub
I think position three also works if you use position one, which is basically just a hub that doesn't charge. If you need to boot into your BIOS, then select position one and you can boot into the BIOS using a wireless keyboard. I have a Logitech receiver connected up at the moment, which means I have a keyboard and a mouse, so with everything connected, let's see if it's going to charge and use all of the ports on the Te Glass X8H.
Powering Up the System
I just power the system up, and my monitor now shows that it's giving me a battery signal, which means it's working there with HDMI. However, I didn't hold it down for just a few seconds longer as requested in the instructions, so let's see if it still works. Okay, got the dual boot menu, which can be seen on the screen. Unfortunately, my mouse isn't actually working for some reason and won't work in the jewel boot menu, so I need to switch it to position one and now it works.
Understanding Charging and USB Port Usage
I think that charging only works while charging, and the USB ports only work under Windows or Android. If you just get charging only, then switching to position two should hopefully make it charge again. It might actually be easier to start the system up with the HDMI cable removed and select Windows.
Booting into the System
When I select Windows from the boot menu, my mouse pointer starts working again, and I can go on to the desktop screen. From there, I can have a look down at the battery icon, which shows that it is charging plugged in charging. That's good news!
Testing the USB Ports with Flash Drives
I thought it would be a good idea to try disconnecting some drives from the system and connecting in three flash drives, two of which are USB 2 and the other one's USB 3. According to the battery bar Pro, I can see there that we're hopefully still charging plugged in charging if this wasn't already known. However, it seems that even though all the ports were connected, only four folders could be accessed on the screen. That should be fine since it doesn't matter which speed is used over USB 2 anyway.
Rebooting the System for Charging Issues
If it turns out that we weren't charging as expected, then it's probably best to reboot the system and keep the USB cable connected while removing the HDMI cable from the port on the Te Glass X8H. That way, the car battery will still be charging without any issues when using position two.
Using the Hub on Other Devices
The hub seems to work well on some devices but not others. I tried it with my Onis tablet and unfortunately didn't have much success with it. The best bet would be to try using it with my V116W later to see if it works as expected.
Conclusion

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enChris here with the T class x8h in front of me and this four port USB 2 Hub that allows you to simultaneously charge and use all of the ports so a lot of people having trouble with these a lot of people have had difficulties getting it to work I found the best thing to do is to turn off the system or restart it connect up everything and with the class systems to use Point number two here the switch on position two three I think also works if you use number one that's just basically a hub that doesn't charge so if you need to boot into your bias then you select number one and you can boot into the bias using a wireless keyboard I just have a Logitech receiver connected up at the moment so I have a keyboard and a mouse here so with that connected let's see if it's going to charge and let me use all the ports on the te x8h so I just power the system up my monitor now should oh it's just giving me the battery signal so it's working there with HTMI but didn't hold it down just a few seconds longer there we go okay so get the dual boot menu you can see that my mouse is not actually working for some reason ah it won't work in the jewel boot menu so I need to switch it to the one position and now it works so the charging I think only works while charging and the USB ports only work under windows on Android you just get charging only or switch position number one gives you the USB ports so now flip that into number two and hopefully it's going to work okay and charge it might actually be easier to start the system up with the HDMI cable removed select Windows do you want to boot into Windows proceed to boot into it okay so my mouse pointer is working let's go on to desktop here and have a look down at the battery icon which is just here you can see that it is charging plugged in charging so that is good so what I thought I'd do is try and disconnect up a few drives to it flash drives here okay so I've connected in three drives two of which are USB 2 the other one's USB 3 and you're only going to get USB 2 speeds over this anyway so doesn't really matter so having a look on the screen here you can see I have four their folders are now opened up so that is working fine I can access the contents there of my USB sticks and we hopefully are still charging plugged in charging I think it's gone at 1% if you find out that well there's a charge rate there according to battery battery bar Pro you can see there so hopefully we're charging if not the best probably bet to do is to reboot the system keep the USB cable connected and remove the HTMI here so remove that then use the selector if you're going to select Windows boot into windows and that way the car cable will still be charging without any issues cuz probably me switching it to number one to start with so I had Mouse use and then putting it on to two is causing a few complications May with the charging I don't actually think that's charging anymore doesn't seem to be so I reboot would fix that so better to probably boot without the USB connected up if you're using the jeal boot on just the normal X8 that doesn't have the jeal boot just the windows version then you won't have any problems if you leave it on position number two fire the system up and you'll be charging and have four USB ports there and you can use it like a desktop okay so that's just a demo of the Hub there and it does work on the TL I tried it on the on v919 that I have and it didn't work at all it's this tablet here didn't work well this is specific to the te glass systems I think don't think it supports the Onis I'll try it later on with my v116 w and see if that works all right so that's the video thanks for watching if you did like it give me a like please it would
