I Absolutely Love Bag Number Four and Bag Number Five

I absolutely love bag number four and bag number five. I'm excited to share these two bags with you as part of my video-based bag of the month club. In this article, we'll be going into more detail about each bag and the techniques that can be used to create them.

Bag Number Four: Metro Tote Bag

This is where we're going to have some fun playing with vinyl fabrics. You can play with faux leather, faux vinyl, and of course, this stuff will be included in the kit for this bag also as you can see we're playing with rivets here so we've already featured one bag that has grommets so I'll show you how to install those and talk about some different options. Rivets add a touch of industrial chic to any bag, and they're incredibly easy to use.

The handles on this bag are made of vinyl, which gives them a unique texture and look. The bag also features an inset bottom panel, which adds depth and interest to the design. you sign up for my video based bag of the month club all right guys so here are the five bags a brief little overview of the five different handbags in my new video bag of the month club and I'm going to walk you through them in the order that they are going to appear in the club so the first month you're going to learn how to make the the Stacy purse really cute simple and I think it's a great introduction these handles are not that simple but I think if you can tackle these you will be surprised at what other types of things you can make it has that recess zipper inside and it doesn't have any other Hardware so all you really need is your Fabrics a few different stabilizers and then the zipper so real simple one and inexpensive uh in products materials that you need for it to get started so I think that's a good introductory one so that will be the first one the next one is my Lorraine crossbody bucket bag so this has a drawstring and as you can see I've installed grommets in it so it has grommets all the way around it has a strap that's not adjustable it's just a set strap so you will set it to the size that you want it to be and this one for me fits me perfectly as a cross body inside it has a zipper a zippered pocket on the inside so I will show you how to do that in the lining of your purses and that way then from then on you can know how to do that and you can do it to a variety of your purses so this closes up with a drawstring by cinching it up very cute bag and I think it's important to note this bag stands up by itself which is very rare when you don't when you have a bag that doesn't have any foam stabilizer or batting or fusible fleece so you'll learn exactly how I do that to keep it lightweight but still so that it stands up on its own and you'll also learn how to inset this bottom panel here which if you've ever tried to do it before you know it's pretty tricky but I'll show you step step byep how to do that now the third bag in the club is my probably one of my favorites the Kelly Cross Body Bag this is the one that I taught you how to make the adjustable strap for super super practical it has tons of pockets there's a slipin pocket here and then you have a zippered pocket in the front of course all these pockets are fully lined there's a pocket in the back and then there's just one main pocket uh closure here with a zipper and inside we just have two slipin pockets so a lot of pockets great size you can wear it as a shoulder bag or cross body then the fourth bag here is my Raina barrel bag really cute this one is a little bit more fun features a zipper that has two zipper pulls so it opens from the center out instead of just from the sides but you can also do it like that if you want to uh so you'll learn how to install that type of a zipper we have tabs here on the side with d-rings which we are also going to add a cross body strap to this bag so you have the option of carrying it just by the little piped hand Les or adding a shoulder strap or cross body I think this is great for travel if you are um traveling at the airport this makes a great carry-on bag because you can still have your hands free once you clip on that shoulder strap or the cross body strap you learn how to make these really fun piped handles then on the sides here of course all the fabric here is quilted so I'll teach you how to do all that how to install these side panels and then these Pockets feature something really cool on the side from the outside you can't see it but I've installed magnets in here so they help keep your pockets closed no matter what you slip in there all right so we have that on both sides so just playing around with a little bit more fun hardware and fun things that you can add to your bags okay so that is bag number four and bag number five I absolutely love and this is my metro tote bag this is where we're going to have some fun playing with vinyl Fabrics you can play with faux leather different techniques here that you'll be able to use and carry on into your other projects all right so there you have it the five bags that I designed to be a part of my video based bag of the month club and I think after you're done with these bags you are definitely going to be set to start designing your own I mean we feature all kinds of things quilted fabric not quilted fabric how to inser different panels on sides and on the bottoms of these bags a variety of different handles that we're going to be learning how to make as well I feature different types of zippers uh magnetic closures all kinds of Hardware grommets and rivets I mean you're going to learn so much I think you are definitely going to start designing your own bags after you're done with these five all right so by now any foam stabilizer or batting or fusible fleece so you'll learn exactly how I do that to keep it lightweight but still so that it stands up on its own and you'll also learn how to inset this bottom panel here which if you've ever tried to do it before you know it's pretty tricky but I'll show you step step byep how to do that now the third bag in the club is my probably one of my favorites the Kelly Cross Body Bag this is the one that I taught you how to make the adjustable strap for super super practical it has tons of pockets there's a slipin pocket here and then you have a zippered pocket in the front of course all these pockets are fully lined there's a pocket in the back and then there's just one main pocket uh closure here with a zipper and inside we just have two slipin pockets so a lot of pockets great size you can wear it as a shoulder bag or cross body then the fourth bag here is my Raina barrel bag really cute this one is a little bit more fun features a zipper that has two zipper pulls so it opens from the center out instead of just from the sides but you can also do it like that if you want to uh so you'll learn how to install that type of a zipper we have tabs here on the side with d-rings which we are also going to add a cross body strap to this bag so you have the option of carrying it just by the little piped hand Les or adding a shoulder strap or cross body I think this is great for travel if you are um traveling at the airport this makes a great carry-on bag because you can still have your hands free once you clip on that shoulder strap or the cross body strap you learn how to make these really fun piped handles then on the sides here of course all the fabric here is quilted so I'll teach you how to do all that how to install these side panels and then these Pockets feature something really cool on the side from the outside you can't see it but I've installed magnets in here so they help keep your pockets closed no matter what you slip in there all right so we have that on both sides so just playing around with a little bit more fun hardware and fun things that you can add to your bags okay so that is bag number four and bag number five I absolutely love and this is my metro tote bag this is where we're going to have some fun playing with vinyl Fabrics you can play with faux leather faux vinyl and of course this stuff will be included in the kit for this bag also as you can see we're playing with rivets here so we've already featured one bag that has grommets so I'll show you how to install those and talk about some different options and then we're going to be doing rivets here to add to these handles and the handles are made of vinyl this bag really cute vinyl kind of embellishment on the corners here also features an inset bottom panel so I'll teach you how to do that a cute zipper closure with some cute ends here and I'll show you how to do that there's a lot of different techniques here that you'll be able to use and carry on into your other projects all right so there you have it the five bags that I designed to be a part of my video based bag of the month club and I think after you're done with these bags you are definitely going to be set to start designing your own I mean we feature all kinds of things quilted fabric not quilted fabric how to inser different panels on sides and on the bottoms of these bags a variety of different handles that we're going to be learning how to make as well I feature different types of zippers uh magnetic closures all kinds of Hardware grommets and rivets I mean you're going to learn so much I think you are definitely going to start designing your own bags after you're done with these five all right so by now you know exactly what you'll be getting as a part of my new bag Club you've seen all five bags you know that I will be providing you with PDF instructions pattern templates and then also the video lessons you know that we'll be selling the kits individually for each of the different bags if you want to go that route so you have everything that you need in one and then remember it doesn't matter where in the world you live because you will be able to access everything indefinitely once you are a part of the club okay now let's talk a little bit about pricing if we were to price these out as individual patterns patterns by themselves without video lessons they will run you anywhere from about to5 or $16 at your local quilt shop for one pattern okay so we have five bags here so you can do the math on that now if we were to purchase them online say from a popular online video class platform and got them on sale they would still run you about $20 at the minimum $20 each for a class on this bag a class on this one and that's five bags so even if you were to tie in the pattern with the video lessons you'd still be looking at about a $100 value here okay in a way that you would still have access to the material indefinitely now because I'm able to produce the videos myself I film them and I edit them all myself I'm able to cut the cost significantly and pass that off to you because I don't have to hire a whole video production crew right so keeping that in mind and the value that you're getting here with five different bag patterns I definitely want you to check back because in the next video I am
