OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition UNBOXING

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition: A Limited Edition Device with a Special Twist

As Saf from SuperSaf TV, I'm excited to introduce you to the latest collaboration between OnePlus and McLaren - the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. This limited edition device is part of a growing trend where smartphone manufacturers partner with car brands to bring unique and exclusive devices to the market.

Upon opening the box, we're immediately greeted by a bright orange color scheme with the text "Salute to Speed" emblazoned on the outside. The box itself is sleek and modern, with a carbon fiber print that gives it a premium feel. Inside, we find a black box with a carbon fiber design, which also features the OnePlus and McLaren logos on the back. This design is similar to the existing carbon fiber style case available from the OnePlus website.

Moving on to the accessories, we have a glass plaque that indicates this is a limited edition device. The accompanying cables are beautifully designed, with a brilliant orange and black USB-A to USB Type-C cable that features orange accents even on the inside of the connectors. Additionally, there's a Warp Charge 30 power brick and a USB Type-C to 3.5 mm dongle, which is accompanied by a SIM Card ejector tool. The paperwork includes a main leaflet with a quote from Pete, the CEO of OnePlus, along with quick start details and a blueprint of the device.

Now that we've taken a look at the box and accessories, it's time to reveal the device itself. Removing the sticker on the back of the device, we see the sleek design of the 6T McLaren Edition. At first glance, it may seem similar to the existing Mirror Black 6T model, but closer inspection reveals a subtle carbon fiber design behind the back glass and an orange gradient that gives the device its unique look.

The layout of the device is largely the same as any other 6T model, with the same 6.41 inch Optic AMOLED display and water drop notch. However, the McLaren theme gives the device a distinctive black and orange color scheme throughout the user interface. And if you start the device, you'll be greeted by a Salute to Speed screen that allows you to point your camera at parts of a booklet included with the device.

Apart from this feature, the device is pretty much identical to a regular OnePlus 6T. It boasts the same dual cameras at the back, single bottom speaker, and Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, but with an impressive 10 GB of RAM. The Warp Charge 30 technology allows for rapid charging, topping up 50% of the device in just 20 minutes.

One thing to note is that the price of this limited edition device has not been announced yet, although it's clear that it will be more expensive than the regular 6T model. For fans of McLaren and those looking for a unique device with exclusive accessories, this might be worth considering. However, personally, I think the design could have been more striking, perhaps incorporating an orange carbon fiber look or something similar.

Overall, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition is a well-designed device that's sure to appeal to fans of both brands. Its unique features and exclusive accessories make it stand out from other devices on the market. And with its impressive specs and Warp Charge 30 technology, it's clear that this limited edition device is designed for those who want a premium smartphone experience.
