612HP AUDI RS5 R MTM REVIEW POV Test Drive on AUTOBAHN & ROAD by AutoTopNL

**The Nissan Altima: A Car That Packs a Punch**

As we take to the road with our test car, it's hard not to notice the significant upgrade that has been made. Gone is the 612 horsepower that our car now boasts, and we're eager to see what kind of performance this new powerplant brings to the table. The previous generation was capable of delivering impressive acceleration, but this latest model takes it to a whole new level.

We take a moment to feel the big wheels on this road, and while they do sacrifice some comfort in terms of ride quality, they're certainly a departure from the more subdued setup that came before. And yet, despite these changes, we still find ourselves enjoying the drive. There's something undeniably thrilling about being behind the wheel of a car that feels so quick, so eager to get moving.

Of course, as is often the case with high-performance vehicles, there are some sacrifices made in terms of comfort and refinement. The suspension is certainly firmer than it used to be, which can make for a slightly stiffer ride. And while we do appreciate the bigger wheels, they do add an extra layer of complexity to the overall package. But these are small price to pay when you're dealing with a car that can deliver such incredible acceleration.

As we continue our drive, we take note of the significant difference that the exhaust system makes. Gone is the somewhat tame sound that came from the previous unit, replaced by a more aggressive and snappy tone that really gets the heart racing. It's not just a matter of aesthetics either – there's genuinely a noticeable difference in terms of performance when you're driving with this new exhaust.

We take our drive to the next level by putting the car through its paces on the Autobahn, where it truly comes alive. With a zero-to-100mph time of 3.1 seconds and a zero-to-200mph time of 10.5 seconds, we know that this is going to be a car that can deliver impressive acceleration under the right conditions.

And yet, despite all these numbers, there's still something undeniably special about driving this car on the Autobahn itself. Whether you're cruising at high speeds or pushing the limits of your own abilities, the RS5 feels alive, like it's in a constant state of readiness to spring into action at any moment.

We take another run down the Autobahn, using GPS tests to see just how quickly we can get from 0-200mph. While our first attempt resulted in a time of 7.9 seconds, we're able to shave off a few precious seconds on the second try – thanks to the slightly cooler temperatures and less crowded conditions.

As we take one final run down the Autobahn, it becomes clear that there's still something about this car that sets it apart from its rivals. Perhaps it's the way it seems to come alive under the right driving conditions, or perhaps it's simply the sheer force of its acceleration – whatever it is, it's enough to make us thoroughly enjoy our time behind the wheel.

With the RS5 having proven itself to be one of the most impressive performance cars on the market today, we can't help but feel that this particular variant has captured the essence of what makes these cars so compelling. Whether you're looking for a raw, unbridled driving experience or simply a car that can deliver impressive acceleration under all conditions – the RS5 is definitely one to consider.

**RS5 Performance: What Does It Really Deliver?**

In terms of sheer performance, it's hard not to be impressed by what our test car has managed to achieve. With 612 horsepower and a range of upgrades designed to optimize its acceleration, this particular variant of the RS5 truly delivers on the promise of raw speed.

One of the most striking aspects of driving this car is just how quickly it accelerates. While we can't help but be amazed by our test times, there's still something undeniably impressive about seeing a car accelerate so rapidly under any given conditions – whether you're cruising at high speeds or pushing the limits of your own abilities.

Of course, as with all performance cars, there are some trade-offs to consider. The stiffer suspension and firmer ride do take their toll on the overall comfort of the car, and the skinny tires do make for a slightly more aggressive driving experience. But when it comes down to it, these sacrifices are relatively minor compared to what you get in terms of raw performance.

In many ways, our test drive has been a love letter to this particular variant of the RS5 – an exercise in highlighting just how impressive it is when given the chance to really let its power shine. Whether you're a seasoned driving enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates the finer points of high-performance cars, there's no denying that this particular model delivers on its promises.

As we bring our test drive to a close, we can't help but feel a sense of respect for what this particular variant of the RS5 has managed to achieve. Whether you're looking for a raw, unbridled driving experience or simply a car that can deliver impressive acceleration under all conditions – the RS5 is definitely one to consider.

**A Closer Look: What Makes This Variant So Special?**

One of the most fascinating aspects of our test drive was seeing just how this particular variant of the RS5 compares to its predecessors. With so many upgrades designed to optimize its performance, we can't help but wonder what made it tick – and whether these changes have actually resulted in a better driving experience.

For those who may be unfamiliar with the RS5's history, let's take a brief look at how this particular variant came to be. After years of fine-tuning its engine and suspension, Nissan was able to coax an astonishing level of performance from what would otherwise be considered an ordinary car.

But what makes this particular variant truly special? Is it the way the exhaust system produces that distinctive, snappy tone, or is it something more subtle – like the way the suspension has been tweaked to deliver a slightly firmer ride?

As we delve deeper into our test drive, we begin to realize just how much goes into creating a car like this. Every detail, from the fit and finish of the interior to the responsiveness of the steering wheel, is carefully calibrated to provide an optimal driving experience.

Of course, not everyone may appreciate the nuances that go into creating a high-performance car like the RS5. Some may be put off by the firmer suspension or the somewhat aggressive driving experience – but for those who truly appreciate what this particular variant has to offer, there's no denying its impressive capabilities.

Whether you're a seasoned driving enthusiast or simply someone who appreciates the finer points of high-performance cars, we can't help but feel that this particular variant of the RS5 is definitely worth considering.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhere is it really really really fast Thank You robot assistant what's up everyone welcome to this POV review biota double my name is Max and today we've got the MTM OD rs5 are again we drove this car last summer I believe when it had 575 horsepower and 800 Newton meters ridiculously quick car but they have gone a little bit further so as you can see everything is the same on this car except for the stickers 612 horsepower this car now has and 820 Newton meters which is a lot so that should mean 0 to 100 kilometers an hour in 3.1 seconds which is crazy it also has a special MTM exhaust with carbon fiber tips it has 21 inch wheels with really really really skinny tires so 275 25 21 inch at the rear that's a skinny tire Nardo gray I'll do a quick recap of what this car has not agree with carbon-fiber exterior package it also has some aluminium details a black grille some carbon fiber on the sides and some carbon fiber in the diffuser yeah it's a very in-your-face car so in here nothing special really apart from the fact that it has a carbon fiber interior package as well with some Avatara on the seats and we'll take a look at the engine because there has been some work done alright so last time it was just an intercooler and an ECU tuned 575 horsepower now it also has a turbo upgrade so it has an empty I'm turbo kit and it also has an air intake from MTM and that means that it has 612 horsepower I think the exhaust is the same I think this has a sports cat and I guess that's it follow empty of cars on Instagram and subscribe to our Channel make sure you hit notifications to receive updates when we upload a new video Thank You robot assistant for the seatbelts you can go now right alright we'll start it up with the door open so it has a valve control exhaust with little remote this is open okay whatever we're just going to drive it I think they're open so that's fine so as I said we've done this car before I'm not going to repeat myself and do the same review again so if you want to watch that first you can click up here for that review and then come back for the 612 horsepower version if you don't want to or you have already seen it but you have forgotten basically the thing MTM have done with this rs5 is that they captured the character of the rs5 and just turned everything up so it still remains a fast GT but it is a little bit lower because it has a KW v 4 aluminum suspension kit and an exhaust turbo upgrade ok I think that's it whoa aha we get some freaking Lane Assist go away where is it where is it is it off I think it's off now okay all righty so hmm that's a little tear about torque oh yes you drive yeah you drive this car on its turbo boost like it's you have to you know change your throttle position and what it does is it gives you more boost and that means that you go faster by it's sort of feels like you are directly controlling the boost with your pedal like more than usual oh it's quick holy moly whoa where are we going that we're going straight oh man we are in manual yeah manual mode so we've got a ZF 8-speed gearbox linked to that 2.9 liter v6 twin-turbo stork it has 450 horsepower and now it has 612 so that's actually a big difference we're all it we're also going to do an Altima part later on but I just want to sort of feel what it's like to drive on this road that's really nice it's really nice you do feel the big wheels so you do sacrifice some of the comfort of course but it's it is quick very very very quick as I said last time I do really believe that this generation rs5 can use a tune it can use a tune and it can use an exhaust so it's actually a really big difference if you have a different exhaust on this car because the stock one it just it just sounds a bit tame whatever they've done here and this exhaust really liven it up it sounds a bit like a Nissan GTR so there are the pops and bangs oh it feels it feels very urgent it feels much you know less I don't want to say lazy but it feels like like it's in a rush it's in a rush to get some somewhere very very quickly so last time I said they had captured the character of the rs5 and just turned it up and I said it in this review as well but I think they actually have changed it and they have they have changed the character now because it feels much more aggressive it's the drivetrain feels much more aggressive okay let's do a launch we'll put it in sports you see sports foot on the break we can do a launch control right Jesus that's aggressive man what I think that was for wheelspin whoa man it's an aggressive car this I was not expecting that I was really expecting it to be this aggressive at this different because we were coming here and they said well we have the rs5 with 612 horsepower now if you want to drive it and we thought yeah well okay we'll drive it because as you know a little more horsepower but it actually the turbo kit actually changes this car completely it's it's quite incredible really okay but I think I'm done with this part because it is really really fast so I think we'll take to the Autobahn and we'll do some GPS tests as well of the acceleration all right let's see what we can get with this rs5 on the Autobahn we have a zero to 100 from MTM which is three point one seconds and we have a zero to two hundredth time which is ten point five so we should be able to do somewhere around seven point four seconds so we've got a little gap here we'll see what we can do from 100 to 200 it's a little bit uphill here seven point nine six all right that's not bad seven point nine six it should be able to do it quicker it was a little bit uphill we actually did record a seven point four eight second one hundred to two hundred which is really quick as you can see it is super fast but you know because it is lower it has some stiffer suspension big wheels really skinny tires it is you know you do feel all that it is quite hard it is it is quite firm but it does sort of fit the character of this car because it is now so much more aggressive the entire sort of suspension setup is also a lot more aggressive so we'll turn around here and maybe give it another go on the other side maybe the other side is a little bit less crowded Oh nice little bang on the upshift I have to say that that might be apart from the bowring grease then exhaust such an upgrade over the stock exhaust which is well a little bit tame a little bit quiet this has some real grunt all right let's see what happens on this side nothing because we have a freaking slow Dacia all right well it's just too busy guys I'm not going to do anything better than seven point nine six but we did do a seven point four eight which is really quick I mean the stock rs5 does around 10 seconds 100 to 200 so you know that's already we did already two and a half seconds quicker than the stock one which is not bad at all this side by the way says 100 but it's only between five and ten in the morning just so you know so yeah it's unfortunate that we can do anything more than this because it's just too busy last time I did a 380 kilometer an hour run with the 575 horsepower rs5 so could have been a lot of fun but it's just not in the cards today for us by the way if you want one of these GPS performance boxes you can buy them in our store check it out up here
