You guys have been asking how do I take advantage of these new features built into Apple Music, so in this video we're going to go over everything you need to know in order to listen to Apple Music Spatial Audio Plus Dolby Atmos.
First thing you need to know is device support. Some of the latest iPhones and iPads are supported. I'll link it down below this is Adobe Developer website where you can see there Adobe Atmos playback support, it tells you each iPhone that's supported right here as you can see right there is the iPhone support as well as iPad supported. Apple mentions that their wireless headphones, such as Beats and AirPods, are also supported with spatial audio plus Dolby Atmos.
So everything will be linked down below so make sure that you read everything. Make sure you have a compatible wireless set of headphones. The next thing you need to do is connect those headphones to your iPhone. Head on over to Bluetooth and under Bluetooth once you connect the headphones I have the AirPods Max connected right here, click on the i next to the connection here and then you want to scroll down so scroll down right here to where it says spatial audio make sure this toggle is enabled.
Then you want to go through the setup process right here. If stereo audio is enabled make sure you select spatial audio just like so now spatial audio the best way to explain this, this is more like a three-dimensional or multi-dimensional audio listening experience. It's hard to describe until you hear it so make sure you select spatial audio and then make sure you turn it on for videos and audio that are currently supported.
So now you're all set with your wireless headphones connected spatial audio is enabled. Make sure you have a compatible device as I mentioned list will be in the description down below. The next thing you need to make sure is that the song video or whatever it is that you're trying to listen to is badged with Adobe Atmos support lossless or Apple Digital Master.

If you're listening on Wi-Fi there's really nothing else you need to do, but if you're listening over the cell network there's one more thing you need to make sure and that is head on over to settings.
You want to head on over to the music extension and settings under cell streaming options here you want to make sure you select the high quality streaming option over the cell network again if you're on Wi-Fi you really have nothing to worry about, but if you're on the cell network and you want to listen to that Adobe Atmos audio experience and in the future lossless audio you want to make sure the highest quality is enabled as well.
