BRAND NEW PS Vita Slim and PS Vita TV

**Sony's PSV System: What to Expect**

The Sony PSV system is getting an upgrade, and it's exciting news for gamers. One of the major changes is the new screen, which will switch from OLED to LCD. While some might see this as a step back, we haven't seen any new performance yet, so it remains to be seen how this change will affect gameplay. Additionally, the PSV system will come in a wide range of colors, including black, blue, yellow, lime green, and gray. This is sure to make for some interesting visual choices when using the system.

**Performance and Storage**

One thing that's been confirmed is that the new PSV system will come with 1 GB of onboard storage. However, it's worth noting that this may not be enough for all games, so users may need to purchase additional memory cards. Sony has also announced that they are decreasing the price of some of their memory cards, making it more affordable for gamers to expand their storage options. For example, a 4 GB memory card is currently priced around $15, while a 32 GB version costs about $70. There's even a new 64 GB version available, which will be priced accordingly.

**Release and Availability**

The old Wi-Fi model of the PSV system will be discontinued, but there's still hope for those who want to buy a Wi-Fi 3G model. Sony has announced that this version will still be available through certain bundles, so fans may be able to get their hands on it even if they're not upgrading to the new Slim or Fat versions.

**PSV-to-TV System: A Revolutionary Idea**

But what's really exciting about the PSV system is the new PSV-to-TV system. This tiny device, measuring just 6x1 CM, can be connected to a television and used as a PS Vita console. It also works as a PSP, PlayStation One, and even an extender for the PlayStation 4. The best part? It's priced at only $100, making it an affordable option for those who want the benefits of a PSV system without the bulk. The device will be released in Japan on November 14th, and while we won't see it until then, it promises to bring a new level of versatility to gaming.

**Impressions and Thoughts**

As a huge fan of PlayStation's portable line, I'm excited to see how this new system will fit into the mix. While I do miss the original PSV system with its sleek design, the Slim and Fat versions may have their own advantages. The ability to play PSP and PlayStation One games on a TV sounds like a great feature, but I worry that it might take away from the portability of the PSV itself. Still, I'm eager to bring this new system to my channel for your guys' eyes only.

**Gaming Implications**

One thing to note is that not all PSV games will be compatible with the PSV-to-TV system, as some require touch functions on the screen and back panel of the console. However, most PSP games and PlayStation One titles should work fine. This raises questions about which games will be supported and which won't, but I'm confident that Sony has thought this through.

**Conclusion**

Overall, it's clear that Sony is committed to making the PSV system as versatile and user-friendly as possible. With its new screen, range of colors, and innovative PSV-to-TV system, there's a lot to be excited about for gamers. Whether you're interested in buying into the new Slim or Fat versions or holding off on memory cards, it's clear that this is going to be an interesting time for fans of PlayStation's portable line.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's going on everyone it's your average consumer and today I've got a video for you guys of Sony's newest announcement of the new PSVita slim and PSVita TV now I'm a huge fan of the PSVita so you guys know I had to bring you this content so let's not wasting any time let's get right into it so the PSV is coming to Japan October 10th no news on when it's coming to North America or Europe but it's coming to Japan October 10th and it's going to be retailing for about $200 as usual and what's great about this new PSVita is that it's lighter it's 15% lighter and 20% thinner and it also has an additional hour of battery life compared to the old one and also now it has micro USB charging which is amazing because micro usb chargers are everywhere smartphones use it tablets use it it's the standard and it's great that the vaita is going to this now instead of their proprietory USB cable the vaita is also getting a new screen it's going from OLED to LCD some might say that's a step back but we haven't seen new performance yet so we'll have to see how that goes they're also coming in a ton of new colors from black blue yellow lime green gray there's a ton of new colors and it's going to be pretty interesting to see people walking around with different colors and see which one looks the best and it's also coming with 1 GB of onboard storage now because it is onboard storage Sony's decreasing the price of some of the memory cards that you can get now I believe the 4 GB is around $15 the um 32 gig is dropped down to about 70 and there's also going to be a new 64 gig version so that's pretty cool now these prices are all based on like the Japanese releases so we're going to have to see what the North American and European prices are going to be ranged at now this means that the old Wi-Fi model is going to be discontinued but the Wi-Fi 3G model is still going to be available through certain bundles so if you want that version you still might be able to get your hands on it and now for my Impressions on the new PSV system I think it's going to be pretty interesting we've seen Sony do this in the past with the PSP they've they' brought out like the 2,000 and 3000 version which was always thinner and lighter but I never really lik the feel of that it didn't feel as premium um I always like the fat version the original but we'll see how this one goes I definitely have to bring it to the channel to show you guys what it looks like so we'll see then but that wasn't all for Sony Sony also announced the PSV to TV which is a very interesting little system it's a tiny little 6x1 CM box or device that actually works as a PS Vita and you can put it connect it to your television and it'll work as a PS vaita and it'll also work as a PSP a PlayStation one and it works as an extender for the PlayStation 4 so you've got a lot of functionality and this thing is priced out of only 100 bucks so and like I said this is based on Japanese prices and it's going to be released in Japan on November 14th so it's going to be a little time before we see that but it seems like it's is going to be pretty interesting you can use it as an extender for your PlayStation 4 if your TV is occupied and someone's using it you can actually use that on another television and still play your PlayStation 4 so it's going to be pretty cool and also what's interesting about this is not just going to stream your PSVita content to it it's its own PS Vita system so if you have a PS Vita already and then you get that you'll be able to do multiplayer between the two it's also going to have to use a dual shock controller now this means that not all PSV games will be supported by this because they require touch functions on the screen and the back panels and of course the dual shot controller doesn't have all of that so we're going to have to see which games are going to be able to go to it not all of them obviously but I'm pretty sure that all PSP games and Playstation or PSP games will be able to work with it just fine now I'm not sure if I would need something like this of course because I have my PSV system and I I definitely enjoy having its portability putting it on a TV is going to kind of take away from the portability of a PS Vita but it's going to be interesting because it has all those functionalities where you're actually going to be able to play the PSP Playstation One all that old stuff on your TV so it's going to be pretty interesting to see I'm definitely going to bring it all to the channel and so that pretty much wraps up this video guys I'm a huge fan of PlayStation's portable line so you guys will definitely see all the stuff on the channel and um yeah tell let me know what you guys think below do you think it's a good move are you going to be interested in that definitely hold off on buying memory cards right now if you're getting a PS Vita regardless of the old one or the new one the slim or the fat because the prices are going to drop so if you can hold out definitely hold out on those memory cards cuz prices are going to be coming down but let me know what you guys think Down Below on whether or not you want to buy this and I'll catch you guys in the next video till then it's your average consumer peace he hey heyywhat's going on everyone it's your average consumer
