LG E7 4K OLED TV - Hands On Review

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey there today we're reviewing the lg e 7 series 4k HDR OLED television this thing does just about everything and you won't find better picture quality out there the question is is the e7 the right LG OLED model for you let's find out first it's impossible not to fajn over how sleek and refined this TV looks the profile up top is no thicker than an iPhone and down below it only bumps out about 2.4 inches so it's super svelte what makes the e7 different is this picture on glass design which makes the bezel appear see-through and then this built-in sound bar at the bottom for cleaner sound stereo separation and even virtual surround sound the e7 series comes with a fancier version of LG's motion remote which gives you all the standard buttons but it's also a motion-activated remote to work with the on-screen menus that motion remote feature makes entering passwords and usernames so much faster the entire TV is powered by LG's webOS system which is one of my favorites out there webOS lets you order your apps and various inputs any way you like and you can integrate live TV channels this way too you can even label your inputs so you don't have to guess at which one is your blu-ray player and which is your cable box moving elsewhere in the settings I personally prefer the expert dark room mode but the expert bright room mode is ideal for those using the TV during the daytime a lot in either case there's nothing for you to alter or turnoff I find it perfect right out of the box in these settings you can hire a pro calibrator to get just slightly more accurate color but for most folks that will be unnecessary as for picture quality it's the best you can get in our opinion perfect black levels outstanding contrast excellent color and the TV supports every kind of HDR out there so don't worry about whether you're getting HDR 10 or Dolby vision the TV knows just what to do for any piece of content HDR content looks incredible on this TV especially in Dolby vision which is supported by the major streaming services and more recently on UHD blu-ray sound quality is also an important consideration with this particular model LG provides the best possible sound quality through HDMI AARC and its optical connection allowing Dolby Atmos from any streaming service that supports it something to keep in mind though is that you get that same exact picture quality no matter which LG OLED model you get what makes the e seven different is its aesthetic design that picture on glass element and it's sound bar for better dialogue so to sum it up the LG e7 is one of the best TVs you can buy this year it has superb picture quality it's super easy to use and it covers all of the HDR formats you just start playing content and it looks outstanding whether the e7 is right for you comes down to its design and audio cues if you want that really crisp design with the picture on glass and the enhanced audio capabilities then the e7 is easily the best choice in LG's OLED lineuphey there today we're reviewing the lg e 7 series 4k HDR OLED television this thing does just about everything and you won't find better picture quality out
