Check Out Leroy for the First Time at the Car Show Last Night

We were hoping to bring you some Shenanigans from zMAX Dragway for the street car takeover race day, but unfortunately that's rained out. So we're heading over to Heins Racing to make the best of it. I'm going to hop in Leroy for my first experience riding in that crazy thing.

By the way, for the people that are wondering where the updates from the Unicorn are at, I will bring you an update as soon as I have final Dino numbers, which is what I promised you. Unfortunately, we've run into snags over the last month and a half so once we sort all is out, I will make sure to make a nice big video driving it for their first time and having a blast with it. Hello there, brother! Yes, sir. Here's old one RP. The bell was so tight cuz we couldn't get 100 in Bell, so we put a 99 and a half shoved it on pulling down on it. So there's so much tension, so when it hit the limiter just B, so being my first time seeing Leroy, The Salvage, why don't you tell me what you got going here? So this is Leroy, The Savage AKA The Unicorn killer. It's a 2001 C5 Corvette with about 34,000 original miles on the chassis and engine. This is the original drivetrain, original T5 six-speed transmission if, and uh original bottom end. We did some Texas Speed performance headers on it and heads. Then we did the bald eagle cam from Texas Speed and then we adapted an LSA supercharger off Cadillac CTS-V2 to go on there. So it has adapter plates that go from a cathedral port to a square port and then it has um thermal reduction plates, and it's all kind of Port matched, that's why the blower sits so high.

Running good, real twerky and loves to do Savage stuff. Got a bunch of race equipment, um, and safety equipment. I've actually got a Kirky seat in it. That'll drop me down even more cuz my helmet does graze us a little bit if I lean all the way back, which is kind of sketchy. So we're lower in the seat you know cuz once this thing starts going just so freaking fast especially when I'm like gapping.

You could not I'm going to need all the safety equipment I I can have but uh, we should go for a ride. Let's do it! You want to kick it off with a couple donuts? Staying in it for as long as I thought I could know and then I was like okay no more if it weren't you driving I would have been a little bit more scared. These tires actually are so shot I'm surprised they got that good yeah torque is like your ZR1 though it's like it is with the blower on there it was instant yes that was fun! I had to put the camera down for the last one just enjoy it, it's less scary if I'm looking through the screen because it's just like I'm just watching a movie not bad not bad.

Last time, last person I rode it was laran. Oh Jesus, I'm not going to send it. I'm just going to cruise around the block this thing's like right on your arm yeah what good impressed huh da me real quick dude that even had me like "Damn oh my God" it's way sketchier over here 100% you have something to hold on front of here right here good Dam dude! It's pretty loud, it's very loud. It seems louder when I'm not driving all we're going to do it for D. It's So Savage yes good job. Oh my my god wow that was an experience that was that was fun I want to buy a skeleton C5 now while I know it's slower that thing is definitely a lot more fun than the Unicorn is ever going to be cuz it just doesn't matter what you do with it.
