Both options are UFS 2.2, which is a significant improvement over the older versions. The screen is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5, which helps to prevent scratches and damage. Stereo speakers are also present on the device, making it perfect for music lovers.

The Poco X5 Pro 5G smartphone has received several updates since its launch, and one of the most notable improvements is in its camera performance. The primary camera now boasts a 108MP sensor, which has improved significantly compared to previous versions. The ultra-wide-angle lens has also been enhanced, providing better color reproduction and reduced distortion.

In addition to its impressive camera capabilities, the Poco X5 Pro 5G smartphone also features a high-quality front-facing camera. With a 16MP sensor, it's capable of producing great selfies and making video calls look professional. The camera app is intuitive and easy to use, with a range of settings and modes available for users to experiment with.

One of the most significant upgrades in recent updates has been in the camera software. HDR has improved significantly, allowing for better color reproduction and reduced noise. The camera also supports 1080p at 60fps, making it perfect for recording smooth video. Audio quality is also impressive, with clear and crisp sound that's perfect for watching videos or listening to music.

Its impressive performance, display, camera capabilities, and value for money make it an excellent choice for anyone looking for a reliable device.

In recent times, there have been rumors about the next-generation Poco X series, which is expected to launch soon. According to reports, the upcoming smartphone will be powered by the Mediatek Diamond 8,300 Ultra chipset, which boasts an impressive AnTuTu score of over 1.4 million. This would make it one of the most powerful smartphones on the market.

If these rumors are true, it's likely that the Poco X6 Pro will be priced lower than its predecessor, potentially under ₹30,000. Given the current price of the Poco X5 Pro 5G smartphone, which is around ₹17,700, this would make it an even more attractive option for budget-conscious buyers.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys this is ranit and I have the PO X5 Pro with me and guys you might be saying why am I like uh showing this phone now because if you recall uh when this was launched around the February of 2023 I had covered it and posted my initial Impressions and guys this is a review unit and just a week ago I got an email from the Poco team they wanted to pick this Smartphone back so I told them uh you can uh pick it back but I'll send it after 2 weeks and I thought to myself this will be a good idea to actually relook at this Smartphone I'll update it and do everything to see how it is fairing now because if you recall some of the earlier Poco devices were having issues after updates and stuff like that luckily at least for this Smartphone I did not get even one user complain that it had any hardware issues or whatever but personally I wanted to actually test out and see how this one is now fearing after all the updates and almost uh it's been about what 10 months since it's been launched so I opened this uh phone again and uh now I put back my original uh what do you say main Sim that is a Sim if you recall uh about 10 months ago when I had posted the video of this one I was using it with my Geo Sim and yes I got 5G on that one but this time I thought uh let let me put my primary Sim that is AEL and um from the past one week I've been actually using uh so let me actually share some of the things that I have notic uh the first thing again I did is again I updated this one and I got a bunch of updates and the big thing is that if you notice when it was launched it came with Android 12 now uh I have got Android 13 on this one and I checked with the what do you say the Poco team because it a review on it I could ask them I asked them what about the Android 14 when is that going to come and they told me don't worry definitely it's going to come out in early what do you say 2024 so again uh if I go over here to the settings and all this things about the phone as you can see it's running on muf1 14 but this is Android 13 but Android 14 we will be actually getting on this one again guys uh regarding the specs of this one uh you know the specs but here are the uh uh specs and the highlighting feature of this Smartphone I would say is that 108 megap uh sensor that is from Samsung and also uh the screen is actually good it's AMOLED screen 6.67 in screen uh this one is supposed to be having that Dolby vision and also Dolby Atmos and I have to say the screen quality is good on this one and still it's good uh and it's again that 120 HZ refresh rate that you are getting on this one I actually logged it to 120 HZ but again it can jump between that 30 60 90 and that 120 I was looking at some of the flip cart uh reviews and again if you notice this is screenshot on flip cart also this phone has actually sold quite well in fact has got actually pretty good reviews uh so definitely I could say that Poco now has fixed the hardware issues that it was having earlier with some of their devices uh in fact they are listening to the feedback because I also when I met the Poco officials last year the only feedback I gave to them is that your pricing is very very good but uh the reason I'm not covering a lot of your devices is because of the hardware quality control and they acknowledged that and they told don't worry we are working very hard on that one so looks like that Hardware quality issues and is devices having problems after update is finally now solved so that's actually a good thing I would say and apart from that again guys this Smartphone is having the Snapdragon 778 s so which I feel was one of the most popular uh premium mid-range processor by Qualcomm and again even on this one it works without any hitch I don't see any stutters or whatever even though I have kept it to that 120 hertz refresh rate so that way it handles everything you throw on it fine and also I like the fact that uh we do have 5G out of the box as I've told you it works with Geo 5G and uh right now I'm using it with my AEL uh 5G Sim and 5G works out of the box on this one uh coming to the call Quality the call Quality was good on this one and you can hear the speaker the speaker is actually pretty loud one notification I got and that is because of the stereo speakers it has that stereo speakers and even Dolby Atmos and I have to say the speakers are actually good on this one I did not have any problems they are adequately loud on this one so that way it's good as I was talking about the year piece the year piece quality is also good uh the calls were crystal clear no issues in call Quality and also I tested with Wi-Fi calling and Wi-Fi calling also actually works very well on this uh smartphone also I did not have that any proximity sensor issue or anything like that so that way I would say uh for taking calls also it was a good experience also uh though this Smartphone is having that 5,000 mAh battery it's actually relatively light device because this is having that plastic uh back it just weighs 181 G uh moving to General performance again guys you know that Snapdragon 778 uh is good so that's the same case even with this one and what I like with the Snapdragon 778 is that uh the smartphone also does not exhibit any heating issues that's the same case even with this one and because of that also the battery life that I was getting on this Smartphone is also very very good on an average again guys I'm using it with the single Sim not the dual SIM uh it I had to charge it only once every two OD days so that way battery life is good and even the idle drain is actually very very low but General operations the battery life is actually pretty good and you don't have to worry if you're a casual user almost two or days per charge and if you even sort of a heavy user even at the end of the day full day you will have a sufficient charge so that battery life optimization is done well also uh coming to the memory management the memory management is also done well on this one again it comes in two variants guys the 6 GB Ram will come with 128 GB of storage and the 8 GB that I have is going to come with 256 GB of storage again the storage is ufs 2.2 I didn't do a lot of gaming as you know I'm not a hardcore gamer but again because of the Snapdragon 778 s so even uh for gaming it's a decent uh phone I have to say uh what I like right now is the pricing on this one if I recall in February of 2023 when this was launched it was for 23,000 but I just checked flip cart what's the current price and now you can get it for 177,000 rupe and I feel for that price it's a very good value device uh uh 5G is there that stereo speakers are there you get an amet screen which is actually a good screen with 120 HZ refresh rate and also it does have that stereo uh 3.5m headphone jack uh which I'm a fan of so that way I would say in terms of uh the general performance squ also the fingerprint scanner is here side mounted and I forgot to mention again this works flawlessly I do not have any issue one more thing I have noticed is that because of all these updates uh the main camera that's that 108 megapix I feel has improved a little bit uh here are some of the camera samples that I've taken with this device here are some of the camera samples taken with the rear facing camera and as you can see the camera performance is actually good this was a very difficult shot and HDR has improved quite a bit uh this is a regular shot and uh this is the ultra wide and I feel they have fixed the ultra wide because if you notice this is again the regular shot and this is the ultra white there is not much color variation and these are some just sample shots I've have taken around my office this is my on grid inverter and this casual shot actually this is in very very dull lighting conditions and here I actually switched on the light the other day there it was very very foggy here in Hyderabad very unusual and these are some of the samples that I took and just notice how foggy it is it actually looks like this when fog is not there and I have to say the camera performance was very good considering the price point of this device this is with the 16 megapix front-facing camera and I have to say the skin tones are produced well with the front-facing camera recording this quick sample with the front-facing camera of this Poco smart phone and the maximum video recording that it supports it's 1080p but the good thing is that even uh 1080p 60 FPS is actually supported and the audio is also being recorded via this one and this is sort of early morning shot so you can judge the video quality with the front facing camera so guys this is the Poco X5 Pro 5G smartphone and I definitely feel uh this Smartphone has aged well in fact the performance of the smartphone has has improved with the updates currently it's on Android 13 but the Poco team has promised me that Android 14 will also be rolling out very soon on this uh smartphone now there are a lot of rumors that the next generation of this PO X Series that is the X6 Pro is also going to be launch very very soon Interruption from the future guys as I was just finishing editing this video I saw a new tweet from the official Poco India handles and as you can see this tweet they said that their upcoming smartphone will be having the mediatech diamond City 8,300 Ultra they didn't specifically mention that this is the X6 Pro but I'm certain that this might be the X6 Pro and guys from what I know about the mediatech diamond City 8,300 Ultra it's a very powerful uh chipset in fact uh the an2 score for that one that chipset is close to about 1.4 million and which is actually much much better than even the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 smartphone so it's going to be a very powerful device uh let's see if Poco can price this Smartphone uh under 30,000 or something like that let's see but again if you're on a tight budget uh uh as this one is now available for just about 177,000 rupees you can certainly have a look at this PO X5 Pro uh but what do you feel about the PO X5 Pro if you have it do let me know in the comment section anyways guys that's it for now thanks for watching this is Ranjit and I hope to see you in my next video take care guyshi guys this is ranit and I have the PO X5 Pro with me and guys you might be saying why am I like uh showing this phone now because if you recall uh when this was launched around the February of 2023 I had covered it and posted my
