**May TBR: A Month of Exciting Reads**
I'm thrilled to share with you my massive May TBR, packed with new releases and some beloved series that I just can't wait to dive into. As Rick Rordan's greatest fan, I'm excited to start reading the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, which follows our main character Apollo as he navigates being a 16-year-old acne-ridden boy without powers after being cast out of Olympus.
I absolutely love this series, and I know that my love for it will only grow stronger with each new book. The way Rick Rordan crafts stories is nothing short of genius, and the humor in Apollo's perspective is absolutely deliciously hilarious. I'm especially looking forward to continuing on with this series as it explores themes of identity, power, and friendship. With its release date of May 2nd, I've made sure to pick up a copy and start reading ASAP.
Another book that has me super excited is "Always and Forever, Lara Jean" by Jenny Han, the third installment in her beloved To All the Boys I've Loved Before series. This contemporary romance follows our main character Laura Jean as she navigates love, heartbreak, and family dynamics after sending out all her letters to the boys she's secretly crushes on. I adore Jenny Han's writing style, and this series is one of my all-time favorites – it's adorable, sweet, and just plain stinking cute.
As May is New Release Central, I'm thrilled to have a plethora of books to read. Next up on my list is "Caraval" by Stephanie Garber, which has piqued my interest with its dark circus theme, whimsy, and fantasy elements. I recently featured this book in one of my videos, and I couldn't wait any longer to dive into its mysterious world.
No surprise here – I'm also super excited for the sequel to "The Darkest Minds," titled "Lord of Shadows." As a huge fan of Cassandra Clare's work, I had my doubts going into this series, but I was quickly proven wrong after devouring the first book. The cliffhanger ending left me eager to continue on with the story, and I'm confident that this sequel will not disappoint.
Finally, as a throwback to some good old-fashioned comfort reading, I've decided to re-read "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." There's something about this series that just makes me feel cozy and content, and I'm excited to revisit the world of Hogwarts once again. Maybe I'll even watch the movies while I read – after all, what better way to spend a post-finals day than indulging in some Harry Potter love?

Holly black and Cassandra CLA I wanted to read this during my finals because I thought it would be a lot of fun and it wouldn't totally take over my life like some of the other books I'm about to show offly I'm going to say I am loving this book so far and I think I'm going to Marathon this series over the next couple of months because I really really like this but this follows our main character Callum hunt who his whole life he's been told by his father that like Wizards are bad the wizard school magisterium is horrible like and he's been training for his whole life to flunk the magic test to get into the school cuz everyone who shows magical abilities has to try to get in and if they can't get in they kind of lose their powers um we follow him as he tries to flunk but passes and goes to the school he makes friends and you kind of just follow him on the adventures of this world I love Magic School settings always will always will love it and we follow him as he goes to the hardbacks I like thick books and I cannot lie I don't I wish this was like super chunky but anyway I digress this is an incredibly addicting I would say fantasy new adult it's definitely very explicit that has some problematic elements but honestly I'm trash for it can't wait to dive into this you're going to see this everywhere I feel like people are not going to shut up about this book for a while I have somehow completely avoided all spoilers I haven't even seen a review I haven't even seen reactions which makes me so happy probably going to start this tonight after I finish uh the iron
