The Art of Letting Go: A TBR Unhaul and Book Purge
As I sat down to sort through my book collection, I couldn't help but feel a sense of trepidation. With so many books stacked up on my shelves, it was time to make some decisions about which ones were truly worth keeping. For this video, I decided to focus on getting rid of the lowest-rated books on my TBR list, as well as some other titles that just didn't resonate with me.
As I began to sift through my collection, I started by picking up "Is There Anything I Don't Know?" by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera. Despite being a fan of both authors, this particular book didn't quite live up to my expectations, so it was an easy decision to get rid of it. Similarly, another title that didn't make the cut was "If It's Us" by the same authors. While I appreciate their work, there was just something about these two books that didn't click with me.
Next up was "The Betrothed" by Kiera Cass. This book had been on my list for a while, but after some careful consideration, I realized that it wasn't one of my top priorities. I also decided to part ways with "Roomies" by Kira Oristiano, which didn't hold up for me as well as I had hoped. On the other hand, I was thrilled to find that "Hope and Other Punch Lines" by Julie Bo Baum had finally grown on me after some time. It's a book that still holds value for me, even if it wasn't an instant favorite.
As I made my way through my collection, I came across "This Is Kind of an Epic Love Story" by Hani Abdallah and Iman Abbas Zafar, which didn't quite make the cut either. Another title that was destined to be let go was "You'd Be Mine" by Aaron Hahn. Although it had been a gift from someone special, it wasn't one of my go-to reads, so it seemed only logical to part ways with it.
After carefully evaluating each book, I realized that I didn't have a ton of titles that needed to be purged from my collection. In fact, most of the books on my shelves still held sentimental value or represented some aspect of my reading journey that I wanted to preserve. As I packed up the few boxes that needed to go, I felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that I was getting rid of the books that just weren't working for me.
The final box contained several titles that I was willing to let go of, including "If It's Us" by Becky Albertalli and Adam Silvera. Despite their talented authors, this book didn't resonate with me as much as I had hoped. Similarly, "Roomies" by Kira Oristiano didn't quite live up to my expectations, so it was an easy decision to get rid of it.
One title that did surprise me, however, was "Hope and Hope and Other Punch Lines" by Julie Bo Baum. At first, I wasn't sure about this book, but after some time, I grew to appreciate its unique voice and message. It's a testament to the fact that even books that don't initially strike us can grow on us over time.
The boxes were filled with books that would be donated to my old high school, where they could find a new home among the shelves of fellow readers. As I sorted through the final box, I realized that this was an opportunity to consolidate and declutter my collection. With so many titles now in one place, it was easier to see which ones truly held value for me.
As I looked at the stacks of books on either side of me, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the process of letting go. It wasn't always easy, but it allowed me to clear out the space and focus on the titles that truly mattered to me. For this video, I hope it provided a satisfying unhaul experience for you guys. While there weren't many books that got the axe, it was still a valuable exercise in self-reflection and book selection.
The final thought is that sometimes, letting go of books doesn't mean sacrificing memories or reading experiences entirely. Books can serve as tangible reminders of our journeys and interests, even if they no longer resonate with us personally. As I look at my collection now, I see a more curated group of titles that truly speak to me. The experience may have been just as much about purging the old to make room for the new, but it's also one that allowed me to appreciate the books that still hold value in my life.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: eneveryone it's hailey and today i'm going to be doing an unhaul so as you guys know i am moving 10 hours away from where i currently live so with that happening i'm really in the mood to declutter and get rid of like as many things as i've been holding on to as i possibly can so a lot of you guys when you find out i was moving asked if i was going to be doing an unhaul and i didn't really have plans to do a big one and i still don't really know like how big this will end up being but i felt like it made sense to at least like go through and get rid of some of the books that i have so i decided i'm actually going to do that today because i've been cleaning up the house in preparation for like showing it to sell and i was like if i can get rid of some books right now like why not do it so i've got a giant u-haul box here i mean it's not giant but it's a medium box it's kind of too big for books but i'm going to be using it for books right now and i'm just going to go through like my shelves in the living room here particularly the one that i have in the corner that has kind of some odds and ends that one for sure has some books that i think i could definitely get rid of and then i also have some books in the crawl space and just downstairs that i've been meaning to get rid of or like haven't really been sure about that i can go through so that is the plan this is kind of going to be more of like a vlog style unhaul because i'm going to be actually doing it like with you guys the last time i didn't unhaul i was going to do my reading vlog where i was going to read some of the books in that unhaul but now with moving that's not going to happen i'm sorry i feel like a liar i apologize but i just don't really want to lug those books with me and i don't know when i'll have time to do that so let's just go to the shelf here and start going through it okay so these are the shelves that i was talking about so i have some books here from previous unhauls and some books that i just am definitely going to get rid of but i also just have some overflow from my shelves upstairs so like some of these are brand new books that i for sure i'm not going to get rid of but definitely like there are some that stick out to me that i know that i don't really want to keep i'm going to be backlight for this part so i'm sorry but for sure one of the ones that i don't want to keep is carry on i will address this now this was one of the ones that i included in my last unhaul video where i had you guys pick some and literally like most of you said just give it up girl and like i am going to do that now like i don't know why i've been so hesitant to let go of this one but i think it definitely is time to let go of it once and for all so this one is actually for sure going and i'm sorry if you're insulted by that i also have i kissed atlas by anna birch here which i dnf'd it just wasn't for me so it doesn't make sense to keep something that i didn't even finish and then the upside of falling is actually one of the books that i was going to read for that reading vlog this one i'm still kind of unsure about so i might hang on to this one i'm going to kind of make a pile of maybes as well which i will figure out later but i have a couple more books here so it'd be flat share by beth o'leary i wasn't a big fan of this one so definitely not one that i really want to keep and then wicked saints by emily a duncan this author i don't want to support so i'm going to be getting rid of this one i also have we are the wildcats by siobhan vivian here and this one i'm just not really interested in it hasn't like i don't know i thought maybe but now i'm kind of like no so i just don't want to hang on to that one anymore next i have glimpsed by gf miller this was just sent to me unsolicited i don't think i'm ever actually going to read it it's like a fairy godmother story it sounds cute but like i just i have to draw the line somewhere your heart my sky by margarita angle this actually sounds good and it's a story in verse so it's definitely one that i could read really quickly so i think i'm actually going to hang on to this one i also have the best lead plans by cameron lund here this one i thought i was going to read at some point but i just i don't see myself ever actually getting to it okay next another dnf a deadly education by naomi novik don't need to hang on to that i also have a couple of controversial ones here so i have the latest two books in the last hour series so chain of gold and chain of iron by cassandra clare i'm not gonna read these like i'm just kind of i don't want to say over cassandra clare because like that sounds mean it's just i haven't really wanted to reach for these in a long time and i don't see that changing so i'd rather them go to someone who's actually going to read them and wants them next is shine by jessica chung this is another one that like i thought seemed cute but i feel like someone else might enjoy it a little bit more than me and then the vanishing deep by astrid schultz i've just never really gravitated towards this one to pick it up and we also have bruised by tanya botajou so this was sent to me unsolicited and i'm kind of like i might but i think for now i am going to let it go so that's pretty much it for the bottom shelves here where i kind of like knew what i was getting rid of i do actually have three more books that i included in that unhaul video that i'm not entirely sure about so i have i'll show you them actually there's four so i have only a breath apart by katy mcgarry wait for me by caroline leach the cure for dreaming by kat winters i think i might actually keep this one and then the cold is in her bones by peter nell van arsdale so these ones i'm not really sure what i want to do with them yet i think i might hang on to them except for wait for me so yeah that's the decision i'm making and then there also is something else oh i'm also going to be getting rid of aurora rising by amy kaufman and jay kristoff it just like i never have wanted to pick it up i did try and i tried the audiobook and reading it and i just wasn't really a fan okay so that was the easy part so now i'm going to be moving up my shelves and seeing what else i can get rid of so this next shelf here we have when we were magic by sarah galey wasn't a big fan of this one so i think that one can definitely go as well and now i'm gonna have to actually stand up so here i think beetle and the hollow bones i liked this but i just don't see myself really going to reach for it again so that one i will be getting rid of and i don't really see anything else that's sticking out to me as something that like i will never read or i didn't really enjoy that much so i think that the rest of these i will be taking with me but that is still like decent progress i'm very happy with that we already have a couple of big stacks of books here so i have built my box here so now i'm just going to start filling it i know that this might get heavy so i might have to switch it to small boxes once we get them but for now at least they will be out of the way and i won't have to deal with it anymore which is the ultimate goal here is just to like get rid of stuff so i don't have to deal with it anymore so we have the bottom layer of the box filled here and we are like we're off to a good start i think i'm happy with that so now i'm going to take the books out of the crawl space that i have and sort through them in here before i go up to my office and go through those books i don't think there will be a ton that i want to get rid of from my office just because like i did kind of do that recently but i am going to be like a little bit more critical as i go through them now but i'm going to bring the rest of those books out now okay so sorry i'm a little bit out of breath because i've been like going up and down the stairs with these boxes of books but i have two boxes here that i'm going to sort through i know this might not seem like i have a lot but i also have like a lot of bins in my parents garage that i did go through recently i might go through again just to make sure that i like really am getting rid of everything that i want to and yeah it's we have a lot to move and i'm just trying to minimize that so i want to take advantage of my like decluttering mood to just get rid of everything possible and go through everything so this box i didn't even know is actually in there until i went to get something in there the other day so i don't even actually know what's in here so there might be some stuff that like i wanted to keep i just didn't have space for so for example reverie by ryan lasalla i think i do actually want to keep this one and then i also have our dark duet by victoria schwab that's the second book to the savage song so i want to keep that two dark rains by kendara blake i just don't really like that series i think i built into the idea of it and the hype of it but it never actually worked out for me so this one i am going to unhaul okay and next is the merciful crow by margaret owens i'm going to let this one go too like i think it seems like a cool fantasy but i have so many fantasies that once again you gotta draw the line somewhere my goodness i forgot about so many of these books which like just goes to show me i probably don't need them so the 12 days of dash and lily by rachel cohn and david levithan uh i'm gonna get rid of this one is this the first book or is it no so i'm gonna get rid of this one i didn't really like this one that much i enjoyed dash and lily's book of dares but that one i just wasn't really a fan of 25 days till christmas by poppy alexander i'm also going to find a new home for it and then we have the darkest magic by morgan rhodes i'm going to get rid of this one as well because they're not even continuing the series and i really enjoyed the first book but i don't see the point in reading a second book in a series when like i'm not gonna get the conclusion anyway so i'll just leave it at one book that makes sense to me okay next i have hidden c by gregory mcguire this is a nutcracker retelling didn't really like it that much so i will be getting rid of that one and then robinson crusoe by daniel defoe i got this for a course that i was doing when i was in university but yeah i don't really want to keep it like this is why i like to put books in boxes like this sometimes because i'll put them away for a little bit and then if i haven't thought about them i've forgotten about them like do i really need to keep them so that's kind of why i put them on like unhaul row or whatever like where i'm kind of thinking about if i actually want to keep them so actually for example the final two books of the valiant series i really enjoyed valiant by leslie livingston i haven't talked about that book in forever but i have never really wanted to pick up the sequel so i don't think that's ever going to change so i'm just going to let that be romanov by nadine brands i thought i still had this did i have two copies maybe i have two copies of this so if i do i will look into that but if i don't i'm probably going to keep this one next is the ladies guide to petticoats and piracy by mackenzie lee i'm going to get rid of this one i tried reading it just wasn't really into it and also i don't really enjoy mackenzie lee that much next is map of fates by maggie hall i enjoyed the first book of this a lot but i don't think i've ever actually like if it's been this long i'm not going to read the sequel and then the darkest legacy by alexandra bracken realistically i'm also not going to read this so i'm going to get rid of that one then we have 11 other train wrecks by leah conan this one i did enjoy like i had mixed feelings but i don't really feel the need to keep it made you up by francesca zappia i haven't really heard great things about this one so i'm going to get rid of that then tiger lily by jody lynn anderson i think i might actually keep this one i don't remember why i put it in here but i did for some unknown reason next is after the fire by will hill this i've actually heard some really good things about so i might keep this one i haven't read this one yet and then we have the last life of prince alice store by alexandra bracken so i haven't read the first book to this series and i've really been meaning to but i do like i want to still so i am going to hang on to that one and then stolen songbird by danielle l jensen this one seems really cool so i think i might keep that one too undying by amy kaufman and megan spooner i i waited too long so realistically i'm never gonna end up finishing that series so i will let it go and then the final two books in that box actually i could use this box to put the unhaul books in although this box is already half full so we'll see but we have we rule the night by player eliza bartlett which seemed interesting but i i don't know i'm kind of this is one of those like fantasies that i think seems cool and i might read it but i'm just gonna let that one go back and then kingsbane by claire legrand do i have i thought i kept this upstairs i don't know i'm just gonna get rid of it i would like to finish it's the sequel to fury born but i don't think i really actually will so this bottom bin features the books that i just included in that recent unhaul so i'll just like show you them quickly like what i am actually getting rid of i also i'm getting rid of eleanor and park by rainbow rowell because when i read this did not realize how problematic it is but now i don't want to have this book anymore because no but yes no maybe so by becky albertalli and aisha saeed i am going to get rid of that one i just don't think i'd be interested in it blood rose rebellion i'm going to get rid of as well tithe i'm going to get rid of and also lies like poison i'm going to get rid of i killed zoe spanos going to get rid of always and forever lara jean this is just a duplicate copy and i don't need duplicates so i'd rather like someone else who wants to read that series gets the chance to read it there will come a darkness had kind of mixed reviews so i will get rid of that one and then girl and framed also going to get rid of this one so many of you told me to keep so the happy ever after playlist so this one i actually am going to keep and maybe i will still do that vlog it just won't be for a little bit so i will hang on to that one because i think that was like the most mentioned one okay love is a revolution by renee watson this is a duplicate copy so that one will be going and then all the ever afters by danielle teller is going to go then all the stars and teeth this one is going to go like i just had a hard time with it the good luck charm i am also going to get rid of someone said that like i might like this a few of you but i don't know i just it doesn't appeal to me i didn't like pick it out myself so i'd rather like stick to the books that i did pick out myself then we have the great unknowable end i actually am going to keep for the representation that it has it features tourette's representation and it seems like different than anything i've read before so i will hang on to that one odd and true getting rid of because i dnf'd it the black kids and one of the good ones those ones are duplicate copies so i would like them to have homes i already have them so i don't need to i also actually have two of just the black kids so there are so many copies of that that i was sent into the correct place going to get rid of that one and you say it first by katie catugno getting rid of as well and finally suggested reading see fire and infinity sign i'm going to get rid of all of these like i just i don't want to hold on to stuff right now that is exactly how i'm feeling so that's that box and that bin done with so that is like literally this box is like full which i'm really happy with i have my little stack of books that i'm keeping here i've got my little charles who is sleeping here but now i'm going to actually take this small box here and head upstairs and see what i can find that i don't really want to hang on to anymore so first up kind of a big deal and lost in the neverwoods didn't enjoy these this one i dnf'd unfortunately and then this one i just really didn't like so both of these definitely going to get rid of and now for the rest of my shelves like there's nothing that's really sticking out to me that i think i might like never really want to read as i'm looking at things but i'm trying to be brutal and like really scrutinize things like is there anything i don't know i feel like actually i could get rid of what if it's us by becky albertalli and adam silvera because i wasn't really a big fan of this one so this one can go these books though like like i said i did go through recently i mean there's the betrothed by kiera cass which i guess i have no reason to hold on to but i also kind of like holding onto books that i didn't like for videos sake but i can always just edit in the cover it just is more work afterwards but whatever so yeah i will get rid of the betrothed by kiera cass as well um i don't know what else up here i think this also isn't being helped by like i know some of these have lower ratings because i want to do a video reading the lowest rated books on my tbr so those ones i'm kind of like about that i'm also like i want to read them for that video so i guess it's more so like i kind of want to go through the books that i've read really i could actually get rid of this one so roomies by kira or sorry not characters christina lauren i wasn't a big fan of this so there's no reason to hang on to that one actually this one as well hope and hope and other punch lines by julie bo baum i think i might have one of her other books here but i don't know this one like i was going to get rid of and then i was like maybe not and now i'm just kind of like i i don't know i wasn't sure so maybe i should just like toss it not toss it as i'm like i'm throwing it away because these will be donated i'm definitely not throwing them out but maybe it's just not for me which is fine i think actually that's going to be the case with this is kind of an epic love story by his and calendar i wasn't a huge fan of this one so i don't know do i want no i will get rid of it then also actually this one i got last year but you'd be mine by aaron hahn realistically i don't think i'm ever actually going to read that one so why hang on to it i think that's all that i really want to get rid of up here i know that's not a lot but like i said like i just went through these recently so there's not really a ton that's sticking out to me that like i don't want to hang on to i know there definitely are some that i could like maybe get rid of but i think i kind of want to keep them for now especially because like when we move the plan is to have more room for books so like i don't really want to get rid of them but i'm looking at them while i'm doing this but yeah i think i think i'm going to stick with that so there is a decent stack of books from up here and i will go and add them to the rest of the books okay so this is what we're left with those are the ones that i'm keeping and then here we have the boxes actually full so i'm really happy with that and since i did it before moving i will be able to bring these to my old high school teacher and she will be able to put them on the shelves at my old high school i mean that actually might need to be in september since they're closed right now but at least they can go to a new home so i'm super pleased with that so that being said if i do end up going through the books at my parents house in the garage then i will do another video of that for you guys and show you like all i'm getting rid of and everything because it's either i get rid of them or they're coming with me so i am going to try and make some decisions and consolidate because there is a lot but i'm happy that i was able to fill like this entire medium-sized box so it will be going to a new home and i don't have that much clutter anymore i do still obviously have a lot of books but i did get rid of some so thank you guys so much for watching today's video i hope you enjoyed i hope it satisfied your craving for an unhaul because i know a lot of you are asking for one but i might do another one we shall see but thank you so much for watching i hope you enjoyed i just said that but i said it again so i just i really hope you enjoyed it and i will see you guys in the next video soon bye youeveryone it's hailey and today i'm going to be doing an unhaul so as you guys know i am moving 10 hours away from where i currently live so with that happening i'm really in the mood to declutter and get rid of like as many things as i've been holding on to as i possibly can so a lot of you guys when you find out i was moving asked if i was going to be doing an unhaul and critical as i go through them now but i'm going to bring the rest of those books out now okay so sorry i'm a little bit out of breath because i've been like going up and down the stairs with these boxes of books but i have two boxes here that i'm going to sort through i know this might not seem like i have a lot but i also have like a lot of bins in my parents garage that i did go through recently i might go through again just to make sure that i like really am getting rid of everything that i want to and yeah it's we have a lot to move and i'm just trying to minimize that so i want to take advantage of my like decluttering mood to just get rid of everything possible and go through everything so this box i didn't even know is actually in there until i went to get something in there the other day so i don't even actually know what's in here so there might be some stuff that like i wanted to keep i just didn't have space for so for example reverie by ryan lasalla i think i do actually want to keep this one and then i also have our dark duet by victoria schwab that's the second book to the savage song so i want to keep that two dark rains by kendara blake i just don't really like that series i think i built into the idea of it and the hype of it but it never actually worked out for me so this one i am going to unhaul okay and next is the merciful crow by margaret owens i'm going to let this one go too like i think it seems like a cool fantasy but i have so many fantasies that once again you gotta draw the line somewhere my goodness i forgot about so many of these books which like just goes to show me i probably don't need them so the 12 days of dash and lily by rachel cohn and david levithan uh i'm gonna get rid of this one is this the first book or is it no so i'm gonna get rid of this one i didn't really like this one that much i enjoyed dash and lily's book of dares but that one i just wasn't really a fan of 25 days till christmas by poppy alexander i'm also going to find a new home for it and then we have the darkest magic by morgan rhodes i'm going to get rid of this one as well because they're not even continuing the series and i really enjoyed the first book but i don't see the point in reading a second book in a series when like i'm not gonna get the conclusion anyway so i'll just leave it at one book that makes sense to me okay next i have hidden c by gregory mcguire this is a nutcracker retelling didn't really like it that much so i will be getting rid of that one and then robinson crusoe by daniel defoe i got this for a course that i was doing when i was in university but yeah i don't really want to keep it like this is why i like to put books in boxes like this sometimes because i'll put them away for a little bit and then if i haven't thought about them i've forgotten about them like do i really need to keep them so that's kind of why i put them on like unhaul row or whatever like where i'm kind of thinking about if i actually want to keep them so actually for example the final two books of the valiant series i really enjoyed valiant by leslie livingston i haven't talked about that book in forever but i have never really wanted to pick up the sequel so i don't think that's ever going to change so i'm just going to let that be romanov by nadine brands i thought i still had this did i have two copies maybe i have two copies of this so if i do i will look into that but if i don't i'm probably going to keep this one next is the ladies guide to petticoats and piracy by mackenzie lee i'm going to get rid of this one i tried reading it just wasn't really into it and also i don't really enjoy mackenzie lee that much next is map of fates by maggie hall i enjoyed the first book of this a lot but i don't think i've ever actually like if it's been this long i'm not going to read the sequel and then the darkest legacy by alexandra bracken realistically i'm also not going to read this so i'm going to get rid of that one then we have 11 other train wrecks by leah conan this one i did enjoy like i had mixed feelings but i don't really feel the need to keep it made you up by francesca zappia i haven't really heard great things about this one so i'm going to get rid of that then tiger lily by jody lynn anderson i think i might actually keep this one i don't remember why i put it in here but i did for some unknown reason next is after the fire by will hill this i've actually heard some really good things about so i might keep this one i haven't read this one yet and then we have the last life of prince alice store by alexandra bracken so i haven't read the first book to this series and i've really been meaning to but i do like i want to still so i am going to hang on to that one and then stolen songbird by danielle l jensen this one seems really cool so i think i might keep that one too undying by amy kaufman and megan spooner i i waited too long so realistically i'm never gonna end up finishing that series so i will let it go and then the final two books in that box actually i could use this box to put the unhaul books in although this box is already half full so we'll see but we have we rule the night by player eliza bartlett which seemed interesting but i i don't know i'm kind of this is one of those like fantasies that i think seems cool and i might read it but i'm just gonna let that one go back and then kingsbane by claire legrand do i have i thought i kept this upstairs i don't know i'm just gonna get rid of it i would like to finish it's the sequel to fury born but i don't think i really actually will so this bottom bin features the books that i just included in that recent unhaul so i'll just like show you them quickly like what i am actually getting rid of i also i'm getting rid of eleanor and park by rainbow rowell because when i read this did not realize how problematic it is but now i don't want to have this book anymore because no but yes no maybe so by becky albertalli and aisha saeed i am going to get rid of that one i just don't think i'd be interested in it blood rose rebellion i'm going to get rid of as well tithe i'm going to get rid of and also lies like poison i'm going to get rid of i killed zoe spanos going to get rid of always and forever lara jean this is just a duplicate copy and i don't need duplicates so i'd rather like someone else who wants to read that series gets the chance to read it there will come a darkness had kind of mixed reviews so i will get rid of that one and then girl and framed also going to get rid of this one so many of you told me to keep so the happy ever after playlist so this one i actually am going to keep and maybe i will still do that vlog it just won't be for a little bit so i will hang on to that one because i think that was like the most mentioned one okay love is a revolution by renee watson this is a duplicate copy so that one will be going and then all the ever afters by danielle teller is going to go then all the stars and teeth this one is going to go like i just had a hard time with it the good luck charm i am also going to get rid of someone said that like i might like this a few of you but i don't know i just it doesn't appeal to me i didn't like pick it out myself so i'd rather like stick to the books that i did pick out myself then we have the great unknowable end i actually am going to keep for the representation that it has it features tourette's representation and it seems like different than anything i've read before so i will hang on to that one odd and true getting rid of because i dnf'd it the black kids and one of the good ones those ones are duplicate copies so i would like them to have homes i already have them so i don't need to i also actually have two of just the black kids so there are so many copies of that that i was sent into the correct place going to get rid of that one and you say it first by katie catugno getting rid of as well and finally suggested reading see fire and infinity sign i'm going to get rid of all of these like i just i don't want to hold on to stuff right now that is exactly how i'm feeling so that's that box and that bin done with so that is like literally this box is like full which i'm really happy with i have my little stack of books that i'm keeping here i've got my little charles who is sleeping here but now i'm going to actually take this small box here and head upstairs and see what i can find that i don't really want to hang on to anymore so first up kind of a big deal and lost in the neverwoods didn't enjoy these this one i dnf'd unfortunately and then this one i just really didn't like so both of these definitely going to get rid of and now for the rest of my shelves like there's nothing that's really sticking out to me that i think i might like never really want to read as i'm looking at things but i'm trying to be brutal and like really scrutinize things like is there anything i don't know i feel like actually i could get rid of what if it's us by becky albertalli and adam silvera because i wasn't really a big fan of this one so this one can go these books though like like i said i did go through recently i mean there's the betrothed by kiera cass which i guess i have no reason to hold on to but i also kind of like holding onto books that i didn't like for videos sake but i can always just edit in the cover it just is more work afterwards but whatever so yeah i will get rid of the betrothed by kiera cass as well um i don't know what else up here i think this also isn't being helped by like i know some of these have lower ratings because i want to do a video reading the lowest rated books on my tbr so those ones i'm kind of like about that i'm also like i want to read them for that video so i guess it's more so like i kind of want to go through the books that i've read really i could actually get rid of this one so roomies by kira or sorry not characters christina lauren i wasn't a big fan of this so there's no reason to hang on to that one actually this one as well hope and hope and other punch lines by julie bo baum i think i might have one of her other books here but i don't know this one like i was going to get rid of and then i was like maybe not and now i'm just kind of like i i don't know i wasn't sure so maybe i should just like toss it not toss it as i'm like i'm throwing it away because these will be donated i'm definitely not throwing them out but maybe it's just not for me which is fine i think actually that's going to be the case with this is kind of an epic love story by his and calendar i wasn't a huge fan of this one so i don't know do i want no i will get rid of it then also actually this one i got last year but you'd be mine by aaron hahn realistically i don't think i'm ever actually going to read that one so why hang on to it i think that's all that i really want to get rid of up here i know that's not a lot but like i said like i just went through these recently so there's not really a ton that's sticking out to me that like i don't want to hang on to i know there definitely are some that i could like maybe get rid of but i think i kind of want to keep them for now especially because like when we move the plan is to have more room for books so like i don't really want to get rid of them but i'm looking at them while i'm doing this but yeah i think i think i'm going to stick with that so there is a decent stack of books from up here and i will go and add them to the rest of the books okay so this is what we're left with those are the ones that i'm keeping and then here we have the boxes actually full so i'm really happy with that and since i did it before moving i will be able to bring these to my old high school teacher and she will be able to put them on the shelves at my old high school i mean that actually might need to be in september since they're closed right now but at least they can go to a new home so i'm super pleased with that so that being said if i do end up going through the books at my parents house in the garage then i will do another video of that for you guys and show you like all i'm getting rid of and everything because it's either i get rid of them or they're coming with me so i am going to try and make some decisions and consolidate because there is a lot but i'm happy that i was able to fill like this entire medium-sized box so it will be going to a new home and i don't have that much clutter anymore i do still obviously have a lot of books but i did get rid of some so thank you guys so much for watching today's video i hope you enjoyed i hope it satisfied your craving for an unhaul because i know a lot of you are asking for one but i might do another one we shall see but thank you so much for watching i hope you enjoyed i just said that but i said it again so i just i really hope you enjoyed it and i will see you guys in the next video soon bye you\n"
