Insane $3000 Gaming PC Build 2022! [ft. i9 12900K w_ Gaming Benchmarks]

The world of computer hardware is always evolving, and this year promises to be no exception. With new technologies emerging all the time, it's exciting to think about what 2022 will bring for enthusiasts and gamers alike.

One area where we can expect significant advancements is in graphics processing units (GPUs). The latest models from top manufacturers such as NVIDIA and AMD are being pushed to their limits with increasingly complex games and applications. One notable development is the advent of DLSS, or Deep Learning Super Sampling. This technology uses AI to improve image quality and increase frame rates in games that support it. It's a game-changer for enthusiasts who want to experience stunning visuals without sacrificing performance.

Another area where we're seeing significant improvements is in cooling systems. The importance of efficient cooling can't be overstated, especially as GPUs continue to generate more heat with each new generation. The MSI card in question features an impressive cooler that outperforms some of our testing from the Strix series. While it's not perfect, any 30-series Ti or 80-series model that can be found at a reasonable price will likely meet most users' needs.

When it comes to building a PC, there are many components to consider. One crucial element is the power supply unit (PSU), which provides energy to all other parts of the system. MSI has recently entered the market with its own line of PSUs, and we're excited to put this particular model through its paces.

The PSU in question is the MSA850GF, an 850W unit that boasts 80 Plus Gold certification. This means it's not only efficient but also reliable, with a 10-year warranty to back it up. One of the standout features of this PSU is its fully modular design, which allows users to easily remove any cables they don't need. This keeps cable management simple and reduces clutter in the system.

To showcase our build, we'll be using MSI's all-MSI theme, with the 3070 Ti and MSA850GF working together to create a beautiful display of RGB lights and fans. The Corsair IQ RGB light kit will add an extra layer of visual flair to the case, while the MSI fan will provide a smooth, quiet operation.

Now that we've seen how great our system looks when it's all powered up, it's time to put it through its paces with some gaming performance tests. We'll be using a range of titles, including Battlefield 2042, Call of Duty: Vanguard, Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, Apex Legends, and Fortnite.

In the first test, we're looking at Battlefield 2042 on medium settings at 1440p. The results are impressive, with more than 90 frames per second on average – a really strong result for this title. We'll also be using NVIDIA Frame View and MSI Afterburners River Tuner to ensure maximum fairness in our testing.

Next up is Call of Duty: Vanguard, tested at 4k high settings with DLSS enabled. The results are equally impressive, with an average of over 105 frames per second – a solid result that's well ahead of the competition.

Forza Horizon 5 was another title we put through its paces, this time at 4k ultra settings. We achieved more than 80 frames per second in the game's built-in benchmarking mode, with a 99 percentile result just 11 frames per second behind – impressive stuff indeed.

Moving on to Halo Infinite, we tested it out at 1440p medium settings and managed to achieve 103 frames per second – a great result that showcases the card's capabilities. Finally, we also ran some tests in Apex Legends and Fortnite, with results of 85 frames per second and 284 frames per second respectively. It's clear that this 3070 Ti is not being bottlenecked by the CPU, especially at lower resolutions.
