going on in our house and our home and today we're starting off in the in the breakfast room because this is where we're about to be doing our big easter brunch that's something that our family just really loves to do and so i like to set the table in advance so if you'll notice i've got dried eucalyptus i'm going to be replacing this i started off with a placemat that i think is super cute and i found these they were so inexpensive at target i have napkins that i also bought at target ages ago and i just like to really layer the table with things that i just really love things that just make it feel pulled together but i don't get too serious about it either i just kind of pull from what i have and then every now and then when it's a special occasion i might just go and buy a new plate or a new cup or something some little thing that will just really make this day really special so since i decided that i've got the blue vase that i got from pottery barn i've got these beautiful little eggs that i found at royal copenhagen and i pull those out every single year and then i have little things like this little glass bunny that has little chocolates in it because the kids will probably sit at the table in between now and easter and it's okay i don't worry about it too much i put lots of candles out i found these at our local garden center and i'll try to put a link if i can find them online it smells like strawberry cake no joke strawberry shortcake look at how pretty that container is i know it's so hard to show you when it's light but it's got the really cool little astier de valette that french company that you guys know i kind of obsess over it has that kind of bubbly little feel to it so i've got these on the table and our little bunny holders i don't even know where i got these i've had them for so long and the candles are a little wobbly in them but we're careful when we light them then going from there of course i had to have my rural copenhagen plates and my little vintage japanese ones i love to be able to include all these things then i was so naughty i was so naughty i ordered an entire set of plates from amazon in this royal it's actually it's it looks exactly like the royal copenhagen plates that they sell which are very expensive and this was just a little tiny treat that i thought would be really fun on the table and let me show you i've got to put these in the dishwasher i'm going to lay these down here and that way you guys can see how beautiful it is and i've got my little bunny place card holder so i will definitely be putting something in here usually instead of the names because we all know who's gonna sit where because there's not very many of us i usually put a note in here for the kids or for jack and have that set like this so it'll be really pretty once it's all finished but by laying it out in advance i was able to see oh i gotta get these blue plates and i just grabbed them off amazon and they're really affordable and since we were so pleased with the black ones we ordered i thought i'm just gonna order these my husband actually bought me some flowers so i'm gonna make my little arrangement really fast and then we can show you some of the really fun deliveries that we've been getting in the mail this week oh so many good things you definitely want to stick around for that i wanted to show you guys as i pull these out of the box and stick them in the dishwasher look at how beautiful this bowl it's like a soup bowl if i put a latte in that man am i going to be hopping but these are so great i love the matte finish on these and this set comes with bowls it comes with plates and it came in the mail i think overnight so definitely check that out because this is gorgeous okay wow so those were actually the coffee cups and look at these gorgeous bowls these are so big if i serve ice cream in here i don't think anybody would complain but i think that these would be really beautiful actually with an actual meal inside of it anything that maybe has a sauce or anything these are so pretty and i think you can actually serve in these as well if you had different things that you're serving on a buffet look at how pretty these are i am so amazed and pleased with this purchase these nice your dad got me these they're so pretty from the grocery store what are these i think they're just little maybe a little daisies i think so they're really good does this one smell good i don't think hydrangeas usually smell they have a faint smell sometimes they smell like a lot or they smell like they actually have these really pretty pink roses in it too that should smell really good oh that smells good and i like these because they're really good fillers those are really pretty aren't think is it's just ridiculous okay if you're just looking for like a little bit of spring either for yourself or my mom is definitely she would die over this i think my mother-in-law would love these to put sweetener in them she loves her sweet tea she is a southern girl and i think you could definitely icies and put some sugar with them whether you do white sugar or one of the sugar alternatives i have to open one of these to show you this is so ridiculously cute look at this how cute is the little leaf on top it's so cute isn't it i could just die so you can get them like this in the cute little box or you can also get the loose tee but either way everybody's been flipping out over the flavors everyone says that they're amazing so that's why they put them back in the box because mom's jardom so it's a collection of organic teas inspired by the fruits and flowers of the new york botanical garden oh and it's usda uh organic i didn't realize that this is just fun is it not just ridiculously fun i just had to show you this and then whoa baby oh my goodness and what has arrived okay so that is not mad and bowling that is mel boley and that means food and home and this is a magazine that's literally arrived from denmark let's set this down before i get too excited look at the beautiful recipes the photography is so beautiful in here and i just get so inspired every single time and then the danes are such healthy people that usually the recipes are not only pretty but they're also healthy so i love getting this in the mail and then look at these pages on this magazine i just get so inspired i love seeing what other people are doing in other countries what is trending um what is really staying the same that's always more important to me look at that blue in there isn't that just amazing i bought this from nordstrom but it's actually from the french brand zaddy a voltaire i don't know you guys tell me how to say it oh oh is that just stunning oh my gosh wow okay so i was looking just for something that would be really lightweight for summertime because here in atlanta it just gets roasting and i bought a pair of leather shorts ah and so i wanted something super super soft and feminine and light to go on top with that wow oh yes oh my gosh look at that blue and all the detail around the neck and look at the sleeve on that so i just think it's really nice i will definitely be pairing this with the leather shorts that i have already ordered from them this is beautiful i just love all the embroidery along that sleeve and all that detail like that that is going to be gorgeous so i cannot wait to steam these up and hopefully you will be seeing me wear these on this channel in the coming days what else did we have sent to us we have these incredible amazing suitcases that came from a company called rome r-o-a-m and i think this is so cool because not only is this amazing and durable and really cute and i love the design itself of the actual suitcase but on top of all of that you get to customize everything and as a designer i want to customize every single little detail of a room so when someone gives me the choice to completely customize my suitcase i am all in so rome allows you to choose everything from the wheel color to the binding you get to choose the zipper color the handles which i decided to keep black so you don't see them as much on camera but i just i wanted it to look really modern for me of course but um look at how you can also choose the handle here and then you can monogram the back with this little leather bit right here and it's got i don't know if you can actually see that it's got a little v on there because this one is mine and i'm so excited because even though we cannot travel so much right now i'm we've actually got our vaccines scheduled for next week our first round so hopefully we will take those well and in the future we'll be able to travel more abroad i've actually i'm actually starting to make reservations for morocco i know i know shocker i'm gonna show you a bunch of other stuff in the coming weeks you're gonna see why i'm so obsessed with morocco all over again but we're starting to look at travel potentially this fall and maybe next spring but either way we are going to be taking these beauties on domestic trips and international trips and we are going to be putting these to good use so that was mine and look at how cute jax is i designed this one for him and i did the white binding and then the blue i know he's gonna love this dusty blue i saw his and i was like oh i love this oh i like them both so much we could have just done matching ones but it's just fun to get to play and to make your design however you want it and then his monogram is back there and i just thought that this was just such a great idea to be able to customize every single aspect of your suitcase you get to color you get to choose the colors for the outside of the shell as well so the front could be a different color the back could be a different color these are truly fully customizable and i just had a total blast designing these and i i can't wait i cannot wait to take these babies on the road okay so over here on my design table i've been ordering a whole bunch of supplies and sourcing tiles and paper and colors and all kinds of things for upcoming projects that we're working on right now and some of my favorite favorite ones that i just got in are these these moroccan tiles that i just these are literally exactly what they use in morocco so i've got this beautiful smoky blue gray and we've got two green colors and we are i'm getting ready to send this one to my client because we're going to be using it in her bathroom and i i cannot wait to show you all the finishes that are going to be going into this bathroom we have hand-picked every single thing that's going to be going into it and then they also they just sent me these little samples so you can see the colors but you can see that this is exactly what they make all those beautiful mosaics out of in morocco they'll chip the little pieces and shape them and create their mosaics and i loved this raw sorry my nails are probably not in the best shape i'm touching all this stuff all the time but this raw almost like creamy color is breathtaking that natural color and then you can also do this kind of matte gray i'm dying to find a place to put these into my own house because i keep having them come up from my clients and it just it's so beautiful and then look at this one look at the texture on this so this is definitely not going to be in a spot where you have to clean up a lot it's very rough and would be incredible maybe around a fireplace or somewhere that you want it to wear down that's kind of the point of these tiles that's what makes them so beautiful then not necessarily completely switching gears but this is a different project we've been getting all the samples i'm like covered in in moroccan dust okay so um we are working on a secondary bathroom for another client and the starting point is this beautiful 12 from ralph lauren and you can see where i've ordered look at these other colors okay you just okay i'm gonna get it closed so you can see the colors so they've got a creamy gray almost then we've got the the cream with blue oh good isn't it so good okay and then we've got the gold which is what i thought i was originally going to use in my room and you definitely want to stay tuned you will not believe the direction i am taking my bedroom yeah i could reimagine my bedroom 100 times and be happy with all the different scenarios and then we've also got this third color or fourth i can't even count i don't even know how many this was why i wouldn't even like suggest that i knew how many i'd shown you but you can see the detail on these is just breathtaking it truly is stunning and amazing and gorgeous and so he really liked the navy blue so we ordered i actually ordered the light gray and the beige of this tile and i know that he really doesn't love gray so it's kind of funny i actually have both colorways you can see this would be the tile for the floor if we were going with that grayish one see with the light being so crazy these oh what i can't even describe to you these are a matte hexagon penny tile and the texture on them is just it's yummy and so that's going to be the floor with the little blue as an accent around the edge because you cannot do shiny glossy tiles on the floor somewhere that's wet because you have to be really careful so we're just going to put a border around where you wouldn't step so that'll be really really neat and then we've got that beige mixed in and you can kind of see a little glimpse of what we're working on so we're supposed to pick out countertops tomorrow for this project and then it's just a matter of how long does it take to get on the contractor's schedule that's probably the biggest challenge that we're facing right now with design projects is that trying to get on everybody's schedule trying to get everything that's either in stock or finding an alternative it's just we're having to just work around everything right now so next up i was going to show you my closet which is a total wreck right now um i wanted to show you my closet because i'm trying to get quotes i thought i'd figured out what company i was going to work with to get my closet finished and i just wasn't happy with it so i'm on to like plan z for my closet because it's the one project that i knew i was going to spend probably a significant amount of money because i wanted to be really beautiful it's something that's really important to me and so i have waited and waited and waited so that i could do something epic in my closet and it does not look epic at all right now so i'm gonna take you back there i don't know it could be a mistake showing you this it could be a serious probably haven't even thought about it but now you're like well you know what she's right she hasn't ever shown her closet the reason why is because it's dark in here and i have the most awful awful lights up here and the other one doesn't even have a glass anymore because it just randomly fell out one night and scared us half to death and i need to change every single thing in the closet and i have been determined to not spend more money on this until i don't want to spend any more money on this until i had the plan in place and the biggest debate that i have had about this closet is whether i should put a window in because this is the exterior of the house and it's always going to be dark in here and i have dreamt of filming in the closet and having outfits that we can see and being in the closet i don't know i don't know i can just literally walk right there and not worry about having to have a window in here i know it's silly and i think that i'm not going to put the window in because i can just go right there and show outfits but i also know that the photography and the video that will come out of this closet we show you the big reveal it won't be as amazing or look like it's our stuff because there won't be a window and that really does affect things so you guys can let me know if you think that we should put in a window and just divide this wall up clearly this is everything we own and right now on the floor back there is easter treats so hopefully my kids won't watch this video and this is does anybody else do that do you take all your like presents and things and like stash them in your closet please tell me i'm not the only one that does this to myself i've got look what i've got hitting down here i've got a little squishmallows hiding underneath my trousers i've got a couple more uh quotes that are coming so i know for sure that we're gonna change all the lighting and my i i will have to put up for sure some of my dream closet designs um but it's gonna be a while it's not going to happen overnight even when you put down your deposit and you sign the contract with the closet company it's taking at least at least nine to 12 weeks at best most of them are even further out so it's it's a little bit crazy right now trying to get stuff done in the house but then i think half the fun is just daydreaming of it and getting to think about what you want well i don't know about you but i've had so much fun i feel like you guys have come for a visit and we have hung out this is definitely how i am when my mom comes to visit me how to say it oh oh is that just stunning oh my gosh wow okay so i was looking just for something that would be really lightweight for summertime because here in atlanta it just gets roasting and i bought a pair of leather shorts ah and so i wanted something super super soft and feminine and light to go on top with that wow oh yes oh my gosh look at that blue and all the detail around the neck and look at the sleeve on that so i just think it's really nice i will definitely be pairing this with the leather shorts that i have already ordered from them this is beautiful i just love all the embroidery along that sleeve and all that detail like that that is going to be gorgeous so i cannot wait to steam these up and hopefully you will be seeing me wear these on this channel in the coming days what else did we have sent to us we have these incredible amazing suitcases that came from a company called rome r-o-a-m and i think this is so cool because not only is this amazing and durable and really cute and i love the design itself of the actual suitcase but on top of all of that you get to customize everything and as a designer i want to customize every single little detail of a room so when someone gives me the choice to completely customize my suitcase i am all in so rome allows you to choose everything from the wheel color to the binding you get to choose the zipper color the handles which i decided to keep black so you don't see them as much on camera but i just i wanted it to look really modern for me of course but um look at how you can also choose the handle here and then you can monogram the back with this little leather bit right here and it's got i don't know if you can actually see that it's got a little v on there because this one is mine and i'm so excited because even though we cannot travel so much right now i'm we've actually got our vaccines scheduled for next week our first round so hopefully we will take those well and in the future we'll be able to travel more abroad i've actually i'm actually starting to make reservations for morocco i know i know shocker i'm gonna show you a bunch of other stuff in the coming weeks you're gonna see why i'm so obsessed with morocco all over again but we're starting to look at travel potentially this fall and maybe next spring but either way we are going to be taking these beauties on domestic trips and international trips and we are going to be putting these to good use so that was mine and look at how cute jax is i designed this one for him and i did the white binding and then the blue i know he's gonna love this dusty blue i saw his and i was like oh i love this oh i like them both so much we could have just done matching ones but it's just fun to get to play and to make your design however you want it and then his monogram is back there and i just thought that this was just such a great idea to be able to customize every single aspect of your suitcase you get to color you get to choose the colors for the outside of the shell as well so the front could be a different color the back could be a different color these are truly fully customizable and i just had a total blast designing these and i i can't wait i cannot wait to take these babies on the road okay so over here on my design table i've been ordering a whole bunch of supplies and sourcing tiles and paper and colors and all kinds of things for upcoming projects that we're working on right now and some of my favorite favorite ones that i just got in are these these moroccan tiles that i just these are literally exactly what they use in morocco so i've got this beautiful smoky blue gray and we've got two green colors and we are i'm getting ready to send this one to my client because we're going to be using it in her bathroom and i i cannot wait to show you all the finishes that are going to be going into this bathroom we have hand-picked every single thing that's going to be going into it and then they also they just sent me these little samples so you can see the colors but you can see that this is exactly what they make all those beautiful mosaics out of in morocco they'll chip the little pieces and shape them and create their mosaics and i loved this raw sorry my nails are probably not in the best shape i'm touching all this stuff all the time but this raw almost like creamy color is breathtaking that natural color and then you can also do this kind of matte gray i'm dying to find a place to put these into my own house because i keep having them come up from my clients and it just it's so beautiful and then look at this one look at the texture on this so this is definitely not going to be in a spot where you have to clean up a lot it's very rough and would be incredible maybe around a fireplace or somewhere that you want it to wear down that's kind of the point of these tiles that's what makes them so beautiful then not necessarily completely switching gears but this is a different project we've been getting all the samples i'm like covered in in moroccan dust okay so um we are working on a secondary bathroom for another client and the starting point is this beautiful 12 from ralph lauren and you can see where i've ordered look at these other colors okay you just okay i'm gonna get it closed so you can see the colors so they've got a creamy gray almost then we've got the the cream with blue oh good isn't it so good okay and then we've got the gold which is what i thought i was originally going to use in my room and you definitely want to stay tuned you will not believe the direction i am taking my bedroom yeah i could reimagine my bedroom 100 times and be happy with all the different scenarios and then we've also got this third color or fourth i can't even count i don't even know how many this was why i wouldn't even like suggest that i knew how many i'd shown you but you can see the detail on these is just breathtaking it truly is stunning and amazing and gorgeous and so he really liked the navy blue so we ordered i actually ordered the light gray and the beige of this tile and i know that he really doesn't love gray so it's kind of funny i actually have both colorways you can see this would be the tile for the floor if we were going with that grayish one see with the light being so crazy these oh what i can't even describe to you these are a matte hexagon penny tile and the texture on them is just it's yummy and so that's going to be the floor with the little blue as an accent around the edge because you cannot do shiny glossy tiles on the floor somewhere that's wet because you have to be really careful so we're just going to put a border around where you wouldn't step so that'll be really really neat and then we've got that beige mixed in and you can kind of see a little glimpse of what we're working on so we're supposed to pick out countertops tomorrow for this project and then it's just a matter of how long does it take to get on the contractor's schedule that's probably the biggest challenge that we're facing right now with design projects is that trying to get on everybody's schedule trying to get everything that's either in stock or finding an alternative it's just we're having to just work around everything right now so next up i was going to show you my closet which is a total wreck right now um i wanted to show you my closet because i'm trying to get quotes i thought i'd figured out what company i was going to work with to get my closet finished and i just wasn't happy with it so i'm on to like plan z for my closet because it's the one project that i knew i was going to spend probably a significant amount of money because i wanted to be really beautiful it's something that's really important to me and so i have waited and waited and waited so that i could do something epic in my closet and it does not look epic at all right now so i'm gonna take you back there i don't know it could be a mistake showing you this it could be a serious mistake i don't know if the internet is ready for this all right let's go look while we're on the way to the closet let's just take a little subscribers i don't know if a million people are actually that interested in what we're doing but you know he's got goals right let me show you my closet the trash truck is about to make a whole bunch of noise okay so if you've ever wondered why i have not shown my closet you probably haven't even thought about it but now you're like well you know what she's right she hasn't ever shown her closet the reason why is because it's dark in here and i have the most awful awful lights up here and the other one doesn't even have a glass anymore because it just randomly fell out one night and scared us half to death and i need to change every single thing in the closet and i have been determined to not spend more money on this until i don't want to spend any more money on this until i had the plan in place and the biggest debate that i have had about this closet is whether i should put a window in because this is the exterior of the house and it's always going to be dark in here and i have dreamt of filming in the closet and having outfits that we can see and being in the closet i don't know i don't know i can just literally walk right there and not worry about having to have a window in here i know it's silly and i think that i'm not going to put the window in because i can just go right there and show outfits but i also know that the photography and the video that will come out of this closet we show you the big reveal it won't be as amazing or look like it's our stuff because there won't be a window and that really does affect things so you guys can let me know if you think that we should put in a window and just divide this wall up clearly this is everything we own and right now on the floor back there is easter treats so hopefully my kids won't watch this video and this is does anybody else do that do you take all your like presents and things and like stash them in your closet please tell me i'm not the only one that does this to myself i've got look what i've got hitting down here i've got a little squishmallows hiding underneath my trousers i've got a couple more uh quotes that are coming so i know for sure that we're gonna change all the lighting and my i i will have to put up for sure some of my dream closet designs um but it's gonna be a while it's not going to happen overnight even when you put down your deposit and you sign the contract with the closet company it's taking at least at least nine to 12 weeks at best most of them are even further out so it's it's a little bit crazy right now trying to get stuff done in the house but then i think half the fun is just daydreaming of it and getting to think about what you want well i don't know about you but i've had so much fun i feel like you guys have come for a visit and we have hung out this is definitely how i am when my mom comes to visit and i'm like and look at this blouse and look at this wallpaper and look at this tile and oh look at these plates and look at my table please
