Welcome to Another Exciting Mystery Unboxing!

As we approach this massive box from HP, it's hard to imagine what could possibly fit inside. The sheer size of the box barely fits on my table, and I can barely wait to see what's inside. Let's just rip it open and find out! Check it out guys, this is the Omen by HP desktop gaming beast. Now, as we get out of the box, this thing is massive. Very handy handle here at the top right, ready for the big reveal.

Let's do this, look at that. This looks absolutely insane right. So, as well as the absolutely dope looking omen by HP, we also get a power lead, some paperwork, and some screws. You guys might remember that last year I did a review of the Omen X by HP which is an absolute beast. I'll link that video in the cards.

The thing with that is is that although it's absolutely awesome it is quite large this is definitely much more compact and will go better with my setup you guys may have already seen in my setup that I've been using a laptop as my primary machine so this is gonna replace that. It should be awesome for video editing as well as gaming.

Now, the Omen by HP is available in lots of different configurations. The one I have is the top-of-the-line. We've got the Intel Core i7 8700 processor, the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 ti with 11 gigabytes of GDDR5X dedicated RAM, 32 gigabytes of DDR4 SDRAM, a 2 terabyte SATA hard drive, and a 512 gigabyte PCI SSD.

Now, of course, with these specs this thing is gonna be ideal for 4k 60 gaming as well as 4k video editing which I'm gonna be using it for a lot. The GTX 980ti it also comes with GeForce Experience giving you game ready drivers NVIDIA and sell for super high res screenshots shadow play highlights for automatic game capture and freestyle in-game filters.

There's plenty of ports and connections at the front, there's a mic in headphone jack, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 3.0 type-c ports, as well as an SD card reader at the back we've got two USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.0 ports, and audio in and audio out. There's also an optical drive at the front if needed.

What's great is here at the front, you have two hot swappable bases so you can simply just unlock I'm not even looking at it you can just unlock them there and then you can pull these base out so that's absolutely awesome and there's a glass panel here at the side which is gonna give you a good look into the insides if you do want to get in it's super easy you just need to press this button here at the top and pop out to less access and inside here you've got an advanced liquid cooling solution for the processor and because of that easy access if you do wish to upgrade at a later point you're gonna be able to do so.

So, guys, that is the Omen by HP an absolute beast of a gaming desktop.
