The Irresponsible iPhone Owner: A Cautionary Tale

As the sad music played in the background, Justine began to speak candidly about her recent mishaps with her iPhone. Thankfully, she had scheduled an appointment at the Genius Bar, which would allow her to get her phone repaired quickly. As soon as she picked up her phone, she was relieved to see that it still functioned, and she was able to schedule the repair.

However, Justine realized that she needed to be more careful with her phone in the future. The last time she made this mistake, she had backed up all of her photos and data to iCloud, which took almost three weeks to complete. This time around, she decided to backup her data on her computer instead, using a USB-C to Lightning adapter.

Justine was anxious about how long it would take for the backup process to complete, as her appointment at the Genius Bar was scheduled for 2 o'clock. She had no idea how long it would take, but hoped that it would be quick. As she waited, she couldn't help but think about why she didn't put the glass protection on her phone sooner and why she removed it after putting a new screen on.

Justine explained that she had brought another screen to try out before installing it on her original iPhone, which had a small black edge along the bottom. However, when she dropped the phone again, the crack from the previous incident became more pronounced, rendering the screen unusable. She decided to take the other screen to the Apple Store and have them put it on for her.
