**My Phone's Home Screen: A Tour**
As I sit here with my Galaxy S4 phone, I'm excited to take you on a tour of my home screen. This is where everything comes together for me - all my apps, contacts, and features that make life easier. Let's start from the top.
At the top of my home screen, I have my banking information, including Financial stuff like credit card, PayPal, virtual wallet AdSense, Google analytics, Amazon, eBay, UPS, and more. These are the essential apps that help me manage my finances and stay on top of my online presence. I've also included a few random items that I use from time to time, like Google Drive, HootSuite for Twitter, Facebook, and managing posts all at once with my pro subscription.
Next to the banking section is where I have my social media and entertainment apps lined up. I'm a bit of a YouTube fanboy, so you'll see the YouTube Studio app on my home screen. I also have regular YouTube and Newegg, which are occasionally used. My Google Play Store is always nearby, ready to be accessed whenever I need it.
If we swipe over to the right, we can take a look at all of my banking Financial stuff my credit card PayPal virtual wallet AdSense Google analytics Amazon eBay UPS my choice for tracking shipments and then a couple random things that I use from time to time like Google Drive HootSuite for Twitter Facebook managing post to all of them at once I have the pro subscription it's actually really useful for just scheduling out Mass content and then Google Hangouts Fiverr where I do like my voice over gigs things like that the app is honestly kind of a pain to have on my phone because I keep the notifications on just cuz I don't always get an email notification but then when I do get an email notification I get double notifications and it's just annoying but it's convenient to have on there in case I need to access it which I do every now and then.
**My Today Calendar Widget**
If we swipe over to the right again, this is where I have my today calendar widget. This was a discovery I made a couple of weeks ago, and I'm really enjoying how easy it is to use. It's called the agenda mode, and I actually prefer it to the month mode - there's just something about seeing all my current ongoing calendar stuff at a glance that makes life easier for me. I've got homework assignments, video uploads for each of my channels, and more on this list.
**The Rest of My Home Screen**
If we swipe back over to the left of the home menu, I have AdSense tracking which for whatever reason isn't showing anything at the moment - I'm not sure why. It's just one of those things that sometimes doesn't work quite right. I also have some random stuff on here that I like having just because it's there. There's Steam, which I use once every now and then; my photos through the gallery app; Google Maps for when I need to travel; music, since my micro SD card died; random games, Facebook, Twitter, out of milk - a shopping list for my family that we use occasionally.
I also have an email widget here, which is always handy for checking in. And if you swipe back even further, you'll find my remote app for setting up and testing the mobile light Wireless device, which I've been reviewing recently.
**Other Apps**
Finally, on this home screen, I have a few more apps that are occasionally used. There's Google Voice - although I don't really use it that much; Domino's Pizza - because, well, you can never have too much pizza! And then there's my mobile light app for setting up and testing the device, as well as Wireless.
**Conclusion**
And that's it for my home screen tour. As you can see, this is where all my essential apps, contacts, and features come together to make life easier for me. I've tried using other apps in various categories, but ultimately decided to stick with what works best - a mix of standard apps, customizations like the today calendar widget, and some extra features that help me get things done more efficiently.
In conclusion, this is my phone's home screen - it may not be perfect, but it's perfectly suited for me. I hope you've enjoyed this tour, and don't forget to let me know if you have any questions or suggestions in the comments below!
