Adding Dynamic Wallpapers to Your iPhone or iPad with Jailbreak Tweak
Hey guys, it's Dave from the Unlocker and today we're here with another jailbreak tweak that I'm excited to share with you all. This one is going to show you how to add new Dynamic wallpapers to your iPhone or your iPad for that matter. So, let's get started.
Dynamic wallpapers are basically those moving ones that Apple has introduced in iOS 7, but right now if you're not jailbroken, all you have are the ones that came with the device. Well, if you are jailbroken, there is an app in Cydia that will allow you to install a bunch of other ones and people are making them all the time, so there's a bunch to choose from.
Okay, so going to the Cydia store, let it do its thing. Tap search in the bottom right, then look for "I damic", then tap install. Tap confirm, wait for that to download and install. Okay, then swipe over and go to the app. And here we are, with these sets of dynamic wallpapers. So, you can tap on any of these. Let's just do that one, for example. Then this set will all be downloaded at once when you tap the check box at the top right. And then it will ask you to respring, so wait for that to happen.
Once it does, you can go to settings, tap choose wallpaper, oh excuse me, tap on wallpapers and brightness, then choose wallpaper, then Dynamic. And now you'll see the Apple ones are now replaced with that collection that you downloaded. Now, this means you can only have one collection at a time, but there's a few wallpapers in each collection to choose from, so if you want to change that, uh, you have to go grab a whole new collection.
So, we'll set both of these as our default dynamic wallpapers. Hit home and then you'll see it, you can see it's moving. And there you go! Now, if you want to go back to your old Dynamic wallpaper, it's simply just going to need to go back into the dynamic app. Scroll all the way to the bottom, and you'll see uh the one for iPod Touches and for iPhones, these are the original ones. So, all you have to do is click on it, tap the check it, respring, wait for that once it restarts.
You can then tap settings, go to wallpapers of brightness again, uh choose wallpaper Dynamic, and now you have your old ones back set as both and you're back to normal. Enjoy, and there you go! I hope that helped some of you, and if you'd like to check out some of our other tips and tricks or other how-to videos, feel free to follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, or subscribe to our YouTube channel.
