A Day with Hybrid Hypercars: A Photographer's Paradise
As I stood amidst the sea of exotic cars at the Essen Motor Show, my eyes widened with wonder at the sheer variety of hybrid hypercars on display. The show was a photographer's dream come true, with each car vying for attention and showcasing its unique features. My first stop was the Brabus G-Wagen, which caught my eye with its stunning design and impressive performance capabilities.
As I continued to explore the show, I came across the Sl-65 Black Series, another beast of a machine that promised blistering speed and handling. The car's massive 1000 horsepower engine made it a formidable competitor on the road, and I couldn't wait to get behind the wheel. But for now, I was content to admire its sheer power from afar.
The real star of the show, however, was the Jamira. With its stunning design and impressive hybrid capabilities, this car was a true marvel of modern engineering. The 50 kilometers of electric range it offered was impressive, and when combined with its combustion engine, the total torque output became a staggering three and a half thousand newton meters. It was clear that this car was built for speed and agility.
As I watched, a Jumeara CC-8S caught my eye, its sleek design and advanced technology making it a standout among the crowd. But what really impressed me was the variety of colors and designs on display - from pink accents to gold trim, each car seemed to have its own unique personality. And let's not forget the original silver prototype, which added an air of exclusivity to the show.
But the real pièce de résistance was the Kernig's Egg Insanity. With its wire frame and removable roof section panel, this car was a true masterpiece of design and engineering. And as I watched it glide past the line of cars, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at its sheer beauty.
As I boarded the Kernig's Egg, I felt like I was stepping into a dream world. The carbon tub interior was a marvel to behold, with its sleek lines and futuristic design elements. And as I looked around, I spotted 16 of the Kernig's Eggs lined up for the photo shoot, each one more stunning than the last.
But it wasn't just the cars that made this day so special - it was also the people who made it happen. As I hopped out of the Egg to take in the sights and sounds of the show, I was greeted by some of the car's creators and owners, all of whom were passionate about their vehicles and eager to share them with the world.
As we prepared to leave the show and head back to the Essen Motor Show headquarters, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for this incredible experience. From the stunning cars on display to the fascinating people behind them, it had been an unforgettable day that I would cherish forever.
And as I looked around at the convoy of Kernig's Eggs and the Huayra Roadster leading the way, I knew that this was the perfect ending to a day filled with wonder and excitement. The Essen Motor Show had truly outdone itself, offering a photographer's paradise that I would never forget.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhi guys i'm shmee hello and welcome back to the channel where you join me today for koenigsegg insanity it would be special to be around one kernigsag let alone two or three here we have 17. i'm here in germany with essa automotive for their launch of the new jamira and the esco absolutes but not only that we have pretty much the entire history of koenigsegg from the cca test through the ccr ccx ccxr the agira the one to one the rig era the yes go and now the new models as well but that's not even all we're looking at the koenigseggs they also have plenty more to go and see plus some action you can hear in the background with cars out on the loop around us but let's take a walk down memory lane through koenigsegg's history just take in this display i don't think i have ever seen anything like it an incredible lineup of 17 kernick's eggs across the different types we're also surrounded by the banked track with cars currently going around it there's a drift handling circuit and plenty more to go and see in a moment but this is the entire history of koenigsegg from the older cars like the cc-8s and then here the orange ccr and the ccx all the way through to the newest introductions making their debuts here in germany with essa automotive center stage we have the new jamira we're flanked on either side then by the esco absolute and also the esco track in the center too we've got the one-to-one an incredibly rare thing but let's take a quick look through some of these cars in a moment we're gonna have the sounds of all of the others blasting past us but this is where it began the cc-8s the car that made horsepower from its supercharged 4.7 v8 at the time it was the most powerful production car in the world that quickly developed that sounded good i think that was the green r8 plus all the center going around as well there's another center we've got a pair of centers on the banked track behind the yellow gt3 rs at the back the cc8s though was quickly developed on to the ccr they went from making six of these up to making 14 ccrs in this case with a twin supercharger on the 4.7 liter v8 making over 800 horsepower they then homologated the car for the us market with the ccx model in total they made 29 ccx's we've actually got two here i've seen this car before on a visit to sweden it also has as you can see the new wing but with the same engine inside before they then made the crazy ccx-r now the ccx-r has the ability to run on bioethanol e85 and in the case of this can do over a thousand horsepower or you can run it on pump gas if you'd like to have the normal 808 that's quite how crazy koenigsegg were getting already with the cc models there's another ccxr tucked in just behind before we get to the agira the aguero was one of the first cars that i actually ever filmed on my channel about a decade ago when it launched it has the five liter twin turbo v8 putting out over a thousand horsepower again but some significant improvements and changes an entirely new model and looking stunning as well just revising the looks giving it a slightly new appearance there was another agira here but i think it's just left sadly so we might only have 16 at the moment nonetheless here we have the agira x a car i've actually ridden in before in the satin black it's in agira the x monaco was given to the look that r8 does sound good as it goes around we've got another agira r we've got another akira ah that's quite how crazy this is getting before we come to koenigsegg's one to one now this has been one of my ultimate cars forever since it was introduced they made six of them in total and this car almost completely vanished until i believe it's now come under new ownership and we have the opportunity to see it again as well as the six production cars they did also sell their prototype as well so technically there are seven but obviously one-to-one represents the power to weight ratio this was basically the first mega car mega car meaning one megawatt of power that's 1360 horsepower in the case of this only 1 360 kilos of weight as well it is undeniably fast it is a bonkers machine and then have a look at some of the company that we have around here not one but two of the koenigsegg regiera their hybrid mega gt then we have the yes go track yes go absolute the 300 mile per hour attempt car then the jamira their new four-seater i don't really know where to begin and what to look out first i was lucky to drive a regular very recently with my friend zach's garage quite an enjoyable experience on the road actually compared to what i was expecting a lot more compliant clearly more gt orientated and the first time koenigsegg actually have two models in their lineup simultaneously the regiera and at the time the agira rs which is very heavily based on the one-to-one obviously the agira platform they only made 25 of those there are going to be 80 regulars in total they're solidly through customer deliveries of them now but then we get to the new big stuff the yes go they're making 125 yes goes over 1 600 horsepower hundreds and hundreds of kilos of down force from this boomerang shaped wing that you have mounted top mounted coming out of the back of the roof section just look at the design it's named after christian ronconi's ex-father yes go from koenigsegg and it is quite something to behold your carbon fiber wheels the lightest possible construction a new gearbox they created the light speed gearbox to shift instantaneously through the different gears the absolute this was launched earlier this year it's the car as you can see with quite a different look gone are all of the openings all of the canards the big spoiler because this is about ultimate top speed the fastest car that koenigsegg will ever make christian has set 300 miles per hour in his sights but i wouldn't be too surprised if we start seeing something significantly higher even out of this 320 330 who even knows the sky is the limit absolute because it is absolutely the fastest car that koenigsegg will ever make if you compare the two have a look at the rear section of it you can see how much smoother it is how much more elongated it is towards the back how you have the fins to help keep the car planted down all about high-speed aerodynamics very different to the track performance and track aerodynamics that you have with the track version of the car and then we get to the new jamira which believe it or not is powered by a 2-liter turbo 3-cylinder engine it is actually a hybrid the engine makes 600 horsepower the hybrid system makes a mere thousand more through three electric motors so it's a permanent all-wheel drive it also has these elongated doors it's a four-seater we'll have a look inside in a moment but basically it's about ground touring it's got space it's got luggage capacity in fact we can see the door opening up just come and have a quick peek around at the interior of the car where it looks like a magnificent place all the carbon fiber you've got the displays the screens that they now have on the steering wheels in the center rotate as you actually move the steering wheel around but this has a luggage in the back it would be a comfortable car to drive and it just so happens that it can also go 400 kilometers per hour zero to four hundred effortlessly you can see how the dish bag luggage fits straight away in there yeah i mean this is this is a really really cool thing that jamira now making a triple line up the regiera fiasco and the gym era all in the same lineup and one thing they were actually talking about with this car when we had a look at it the first time was how it has eight cup holders two for each passenger plenty of practicality and convenience out of the car i mean just yeah something to behold we've got the mirrors uh replaced with cameras again carbon wheels it comes in almost 2 million euros or so when specked up highly to make a nice jamira this is this is just this is just heaven let's go and have a quick look at some of the other cars that they have here in the paddock in the car park area i said that the fun would continue around here as well just taking the lineup of cars in front of me right now and that's not all because we also have the rimac c2 sr automotive at the dealer for rimac so we have their full electric hyper car with 1 900 horsepower 2 300 newton meters of torque plus they are the bac dealers this is the new bac mono which made its debut earlier this year as well and then look at everything that is currently facing us i'm here with my orion purple 675lt spider we have senna 19 senna 918 huayra ford gt p1 there's another p1 lurking somewhere i think the other koenigsegg oh yes there it is there's the other blue comics egg agira plus the car is currently out on track we've got an o5 gt that centers are rolling out as well this is an incredible lineup let's just have a quick wander we've got a hurricane performance spider we have a special just tucked in right behind it there's a weissman there which is pretty cool we've got a plain silver piston that's quite unusual next to the pista if i just wandered this way the car right alongside it is the sl 65 amg black series something i really love we've got this incredible 675lt spider with that fade paint scheme the ac mono another lt spider tdf gt3 rs slr roadster another gt3rs ktm crossflow just just take in everything that's around this is an event store yes i've entered a roadster i was wondering there's a pirelli edition about i wondered if it was that car at the moment we've got the tdf we've got heavily modified dorm there as well 720 just in front you get a small view for everything amg gtrs yeah there's a lot of stuff and this is the drift area cars i think having a little bit of fun out there we've got the sounds that gt sounds thunderous as it goes around oh there's a zl1 as well bonkers thing yeah yeah this is this is quite a display actually i'm going to come through here you can just see the yellow of the solar beam sls black series that's the car i think i was driving behind at an event about a year and a half ago when i was in my center an event with esr automotive and i said that one day i would own one of those well fast forward and i'm now lucky enough to do so but i remember that day hi hey how are you doing that's cool good to see you you're welcome yeah i'm good i'm good perfect perfect well enjoy see it a bit mr jp jp performance i'm sure many of you guys are familiar with hey that's cool fuller performance parts the tt ah cool yes and we find ourselves back alongside the koenigsegg nice to see jp here a busy day what what a what a ridiculous yellow mercy i'm just looking around taking in new cars that's the kind of thing i love and find crazy about this type of event there's just stuff everywhere you spin around and oh look there's something new i was just starting to question myself slightly on exactly how many kernigs eggs we actually have here but it is 17 the cc-8s at the front two three four five six seven eight nine ten eleven twelve thirteen fourteen fifteen sixteen and the one in the car park seventeen kernig's eggs outside of an actual kernig's owners rally i think sr automotive have put on something pretty spectacular here and to see all of the cars to see the evolution and how they've still maintained their iconic shape that bubble with the wrapped around windscreen the removable roof panel that you can pop away into the front storage area you can take off this glass paneled roof section put it away into the front bonnet obviously no boot in the back the engine is back there but revolved up towards the esco and now the jumeirah completely different model and an expanding line that koenigsegg have is really really cool to have seen i've been lucky to go and visit the factory many times back from the days of basically the ccr and ccx through to the agira and obviously i think i've also been lucky enough to drive just about every different model i'm not sure if i've driven a cc-8s i've definitely driven a ccr ccx cc xl um agira aguero rs uh rig era multiple regeras i think just about all the different cars and they are such dramatic experiences the regera was a total eye-opener in a different way because it's so much more a gt in a softer drive whereas things like the agira rs i've driven a couple speedy jeff's car my friend mike's car the phoenix and those and i especially imagine the one-to-one are just insane extraordinary involving drives but the regera was something totally different i think it would be a tough choice if you had to pick one from the various cars that we actually have around here at the moment but just to be part of this day to be able to come out and see this display this lineup of koenigsegg heaven this is really something from the vantage point up here just look at these two as they head on out together two of the most incredible cars we've got the one to one leading the way this new ford gt is actually one of the 66 heritage editions so the year 17 cars for the 67 heritage in the red they made many more of them and the 68 and 69 are the gold delivery cars again you've seen a lot of those probably this i think is the rarest overall and it's sandwiched between a peak one in race mode and acquirer that sounds good as it rolls into life i think this car is going out this is just this is just monstrous looping around look at let's go center in the background the sound of that even from all the way back here goes around the back corners i'm late on the moment but the jumeirah is currently driving in electric mode it's a hybrid with about 50 kilometers of electric range from its whopping 1000 horsepower and get this by the way if you combine the combustion engine along with the motors the total confined torque of that car is about three and a half thousand newton meters three and a half thousand that doesn't quite add up it is going to be blisteringly quick and oh look the sl-65 black series on the move there's a brabus g wagon going around as well and then all of these absolutely magnificent to see the new jamira up here with the cc-8s and some of the other older cars as part of essa's display what a stunning setup all the cars at the moment are being moved as the regura comes into life the way it starts up using obviously the hybrid system to fire the engine it's quite an unusual sound but everything's being realigned for some photo shoots with all of the cars at the moment which is always fun of course this one just maneuvering through heading up the line absolutely i think we're gonna move in a moment and that one to one i'm honestly obsessed with this car six of them i think i've seen probably the majority of those now um this one and another we're in the full car and this is the pink accents there's one with gold accents there are two blue cars blue painted cars one glass one satin a blue carbon with light interior and then i think there's one more as well as the original silver prototype too that's such a cool sound oh and one up there firing into life at the same time amazing this is turning into a pretty excellent afternoon if i could say so myself please excuse my cheesy puns but it's it's rather exciting when you're looking at all of this isn't it i'm ecstatic this is really cool really really cool that's quite loud actually jamira agira ccxr agira r wow the weather is doing all sorts of crazy things we've got a bit of a rainbow up in the sky over that way and we now have 16 of the kernix eggs lined up here for the photo shoot what an astonishing display the two yes goes the jumeirah now launching here in germany and all of the other cars the regulars the agiras the one to one at the back i am absolutely mesmerized by that car in fact this is this is fairly breathtaking kernig's egg insanity at its very best the wire here is actually one of the 100 roadsters fire a roadster with a roof section panel that can be removed off very classy spec it turns out there is a bit of a bonus to this we're going to be taking the cars back over to eston automotive and i'm going to be hopping on board exactly so some of the cars are ready to go we need to get straight in sort out things and then we're gonna head on out and we'll jump on board one to one let's do this all right so this is quite something uh on board the crazy machine that is the cunning tag one to one heading past the line of cars wow just listen to this obviously the interior matching with the exterior inside the carbon tub view in the mirror wow wow wow wow feast your eyes over all the mechanics eggs i'm not quite sure how i'm going to collect my car we'll worry about that later for the moment to enjoy this that is no ordinary view the eggs giving follow as we head out to the banking to do some photos and videos and things absurd as mirror views go that is about the best you might ever see all the eggs around the corner wow this is also that's almost neutral we are sitting at quite an angle this is a ludicrously dramatic thing to be inside even at slow speed 20 kilometers per hour it still feels like something mental as well this is going to be a funny moment of going around a little roundabout and we have all of mechanic's eggs this is a little bit crazy we now have the carnage oh dear um wow look at that look at that followed by all the photographers as well that was a good one that was fun i hopped out of the car for a moment just because i wanted to see and take all of this in because we have the line this is i mean look at this this is the best bonus end to a drive and a journey i could ever have imagined um i definitely didn't think we would end in a convoy of a speed one one two three four five six seven seven eggs and a huayra roadster perfect way to end this day but you know what i'm actually gonna wrap up the day there what an epic experience it's been with all of the koenigseggs riding now on board the one-to-one here as well back to sr automotive that was pretty spectacular thanks for watching guys and i'll see you again very soon cheers youhi guys i'm shmee hello and welcome back to the channel where you join me today for this is just this is just monstrous looping around look at let's go center in the background the sound of that even from all the way back here goes around the back corners i'm late on the moment but the jumeirah is currently driving in electric mode it's a hybrid with about 50 kilometers of electric range from its whopping 1000 horsepower and get this by the way if you combine the combustion engine along with the motors the total confined torque of that car is about three and a half thousand newton meters three and a half thousand that doesn't quite add up it is going to be blisteringly quick and oh look the sl-65 black series on the move there's a brabus g wagon going around as well and then all of these absolutely magnificent to see the new jamira up here with the cc-8s and some of the other older cars as part of essa's display what a stunning setup all the cars at the moment are being moved as the regura comes into life the way it starts up using obviously the hybrid system to fire the engine it's quite an unusual sound but everything's being realigned for some photo shoots with all of the cars at the moment which is always fun of course this one just maneuvering through heading up the line absolutely i think we're gonna move in a moment and that one to one i'm honestly obsessed with this car six of them i think i've seen probably the majority of those now um this one and another we're in the full car and this is the pink accents there's one with gold accents there are two blue cars blue painted cars one glass one satin a blue carbon with light interior and then i think there's one more as well as the original silver prototype too that's such a cool sound oh and one up there firing into life at the same time amazing this is turning into a pretty excellent afternoon if i could say so myself please excuse my cheesy puns but it's it's rather exciting when you're looking at all of this isn't it i'm ecstatic this is really cool really really cool that's quite loud actually jamira agira ccxr agira r wow the weather is doing all sorts of crazy things we've got a bit of a rainbow up in the sky over that way and we now have 16 of the kernix eggs lined up here for the photo shoot what an astonishing display the two yes goes the jumeirah now launching here in germany and all of the other cars the regulars the agiras the one to one at the back i am absolutely mesmerized by that car in fact this is this is fairly breathtaking kernig's egg insanity at its very best the wire here is actually one of the 100 roadsters fire a roadster with a roof section panel that can be removed off very classy spec it turns out there is a bit of a bonus to this we're going to be taking the cars back over to eston automotive and i'm going to be hopping on board exactly so some of the cars are ready to go we need to get straight in sort out things and then we're gonna head on out and we'll jump on board one to one let's do this all right so this is quite something uh on board the crazy machine that is the cunning tag one to one heading past the line of cars wow just listen to this obviously the interior matching with the exterior inside the carbon tub view in the mirror wow wow wow wow feast your eyes over all the mechanics eggs i'm not quite sure how i'm going to collect my car we'll worry about that later for the moment to enjoy this that is no ordinary view the eggs giving follow as we head out to the banking to do some photos and videos and things absurd as mirror views go that is about the best you might ever see all the eggs around the corner wow this is also that's almost neutral we are sitting at quite an angle this is a ludicrously dramatic thing to be inside even at slow speed 20 kilometers per hour it still feels like something mental as well this is going to be a funny moment of going around a little roundabout and we have all of mechanic's eggs this is a little bit crazy we now have the carnage oh dear um wow look at that look at that followed by all the photographers as well that was a good one that was fun i hopped out of the car for a moment just because i wanted to see and take all of this in because we have the line this is i mean look at this this is the best bonus end to a drive and a journey i could ever have imagined um i definitely didn't think we would end in a convoy of a speed one one two three four five six seven seven eggs and a huayra roadster perfect way to end this day but you know what i'm actually gonna wrap up the day there what an epic experience it's been with all of the koenigseggs riding now on board the one-to-one here as well back to sr automotive that was pretty spectacular thanks for watching guys and i'll see you again very soon cheers you\n"
