"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: en(upbeat music)- What's up, guys.Saf here on SuperSaf TV, and thisis the most powerful gamingsmartphone in the world. This is, of course, the ROG Phone 6 Pro.Now, there is also an ROGPhone 6, which is very similar.I don't have it with me,but I can tell you about the differences, and we no longer have an ultimate edition. The pro really takes theplace of the ultimate.Let's go ahead, get it unboxedand see what it has to offer. So, as always, we have avery unique looking ROG box, which slides open like this. And inside, we're straightaway presented with the device,as well as that, there's apack with a SIM card tooland a case that's included out of the box.We then have a braided USBType-C to USB Type-C cable,as well as a 65 watt fast charger, which can get the ROG Phone 6 Profrom zero to 100 percentin around 42 minutes, which is around 10 minutesfaster compared to last year.Let's go ahead and get thedevice out of it's plastic. And here it is, the ROG Phone 6 Pro.We've got it in this stormy white color, which is frosted at the back. The ROG Phone 6 is available in a white,as well as a glossy black, but you'll notice right awaythat this white color is quite similarto what we had on the ROGPhone 5 Ultimate last year. And if we do bring inthe ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, you'll see that things are quite similar, but the design has beenchanged a little bit,and we do have a larger camera module. The positioning of the ROGvision secondary display, the back has also been changed. And this is now a PM older display, which will give you lots more colors. The ROG Phone 6 regular editiondoes have an RGB display, but it's not going tobe as good as the 6 Pro.The ROG vision secondary displaynow has 60 plus new animations, and you can of course customize this too.But the biggest changethat we've got on the buildand design of the ROG Phone 6 seriesis something that you can't actually see.And that is the factthat this is now the world'sfirst gaming smartphonewith an IPX4 for splash resistance rating. Now, although you're not going to be ableto submerge this fully into waterlike some other flagship devicesthat have an IP68 rating. If you do get somesplashes of water on it,or if you're using it out in the rain, then that should be absolutely fine.Just a quick reminder, if youare enjoying the video so farand you want to seemore content like this, then do considersubscribing to the channeland hitting that bellicon so you get notifiedof new videos like this.I don't upload too often.I only try to upload videosthat I really want to share with you guys. So, you're not going to getbombarded with notifications.Don't worry. We've got Gorilla Glassthree here at the back, but we do have GorillaGlass Victus at the front. Now, this is a 6.78 inchfull HD Plus Samsung display. And it now has a refreshrate of up to 165 hertz. That's up from around 144hertz that we had last year.We also have a 720 hertztouch sampling ratebringing down the latencyon the ROG Phone 6 Proto just 23 milliseconds, which is the lowest latencyon any smartphone right now. That is super responsive.Just to give you some context, the S22 ultra, for example, has around 35 milliseconds of latency. So, although that's reallylow, this is even lower. Now, you can change therefresh rate down to 60 hertz. You can't go all the waydown to around one hertzlike we can do on some of the devices, but this is still really good. And we do have a peakbrightness of up to 1200 nits, which is pretty bright. Now, in usual ROG fashion,we don't have a punch outor a notch or anything like that.We do have top and bottom bezels. These are pretty small, and I'm pretty sureyou're not going to haveany issues with these, especially if you're somebodywho appreciates good audio. And that's becausewe do have symmetrical frontfiring stereo speakers. These are five magnet, 12by 16 millimeter speakers, and also have the gameeffects audio system,as well as the QualcommaptX Lossless audioand aptX Adaptive technology. Now, in my experience, these are some of the bestand loudest speakersthat you're going to geton any gaming smartphone out there. But if you are somebodywho prefers plugging in,then you do have a 3.5 millimeterheadphone jack, of course, here at the bottom, aswell as a USB Type-C port.On the right hand side, you have the power button,as well as the volumebuttons and the air triggers. So, these are two builtin ultrasonic buttonswith nine different gestures. So, you can do thingslike obviously press them, but you can also slide. And there's also gyroscope aimingwith motion control and10 different gestures. We have nothing at thetop, apart from a mic.And on the left hand side,we have the SIM cart tray,as well as a site mounted USB Type-C port. Now, I absolutely love this.I believe ROG were the firstto have a side mounted USB Type-C port. And of course, the reasoning for that isif you do want to charge thedevice while you're playing, then you can just plug it in.And then, the cable's notgoing to come in your way. However, it also hasan additional benefit. You can attach some accessorieson to here on the side. And of course, the main accessory is thenew AeroActive Cooler 6.Now, this is sold separately, although, you'll still be able to getit with the ROG Phone 6 Prowith certain pre-orders.I'll try to leave some linksdown in the description below, but let's go ahead and checkout the AeroActive Cooler 6.So, you'll see thatwe've got a new design, and it is larger, and itattaches on pretty easily. You can just press this button here, slide it in, and then snap it into place. All right, the RGB lighting in the backlooks really, really slick.I can already hear the fans. Now, having the AeroActiveCooler here at the backmeans that you can reduce the temperatureby up to 25 degrees Celsius. You also have a bunch of customizationsfor the AeroActive Cooler. So, you've got different cooling modes,as well as lots ofdifferent customizationsfor the lighting. We've also got four physical buttons hereon the AeroActive Cooler. So, in addition to your air triggersand all the different commandsthat can have on there, you can customize these physical buttons, which feel really good. Now, one of the reasonswhy the AeroActive Cooler 6is positioned in this central way as it isis because of the internaldesign of the ROG Phone 6 Pro.The SOC, the system on a chip,is actually in the middlewith the battery splitinto two above and beneath. And this centered SOC design allowsfor higher thermal efficiency.Let's talk about the SOC.This is powered by the brand newQualcomm Snapdragon 8Plus Gen 1 chip sets. And I believe this is the first devicein the world that is going tobe shipping with this chip set,as 10 percent fasterCPU and GPU performancecompared to the already fast 8 Gen 1.And it has 30 percent higher efficiency. So, in terms of specs,it is right up there. You do have up to 18 gigabytes of RAMwith 512 gigabytes of storage. In addition to that, you do have a 30 percentlarger vapor chamber,as well as an 85 percentlarger graphite sheet.ROG have also used boron nitride, which is a special thermal compound. The first time I ever heard of it.And this allows heat to transferin all directions more efficiently. Now, the main reasoningbehind this is, of course, for sustained performanceover a long period of time, especially if you've gotthe AeroActive Cooler 6.Let's talk a little bit about the softwarebecause this is packed full of features. You do have Android 12 outof the box with ROG's skin, but you do get things like X Mode Pluswith performance boost, which is going to give youthe highest clock speeds,as well as the highest refresh rate,a revamped Armory Createwith graphic boost. There's a revamped game geniewith advanced in-game supportive controls,as well as an edge toolfor multitasking anytimewith picture-in-picture mode.Let's now talk about the cameras. So, we do have a triplerear facing camera set up.The primary camera is 50 megapixels. It is the Sony IMX766 sensor, which is 40 percent largerpixels compared to last year,as well as a 13 megapixelultra wide cameraand a five megapixel macro camera, which remain generally unchanged. Now, obviously, you're notgoing to be buying thisspecifically for the cameras, but the cameras are pretty decent on here.Of course, they're not going to be as goodas certain other flagshipswhich have a focus on cameras, but it's nice to have some good camerason this gaming device. Now, for the battery, as mentioned,we do have the battery split across two.So, it is two 3,000 milliamp power cells, which totals 6,000 milliamps. That's a very, very large capacity. And with the bundle 65 watt charger, you'll be able to get zero to 100 percentin around 42 minutes. The last ROG deviceshad zero to 100 percentin around 51 minutes. So, we do have an improvementof around nine to 10 minutes. The ROG Phone 6 Pro alsosupports bypass charging. So, you can have power goingdirectly into the deviceto have an uninterrupted gaming session. And finally, less talk about pricing. So, I've only been given European pricingat this point in time. The ROG Phone 6 regular editionis going to be startingat around 999 euros. This will be for the base12 gigabyte of RAM versionwith 256 gigabytes of storage. But if you do want the ROG Phone 6 Pro,then this is going tostart around 1,299 euros, and this is just goingto come in one version,18 gigabytes of RAM with512 gigabytes of storage. Now, that is a high priceand quite a bit highercompared to lots of othergaming centric smartphones, which now do start at much lower prices. But if you are after a gaming smartphonethat is built for gamersfrom the ground upand ticks off prettymuch all of the boxes, and I think this may justbe the gaming smartphoneof the year so far.(upbeat music)That's what I think anyway. What do you guys think?Do drop me a comment below.Let me know your thoughts.I hope you enjoyed thisvideo and found it useful. If you did, then do smashthat like button for me.And if
