STEW Type FIRE Noodle Challenge _ Samyang Spicy Chicken Ramen

Introduction to Spicy Noodle Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome back to my channel! Today, I'm excited to share with you another spicy noodle challenge that's sure to test your limits. This time, we're going to tackle Samyang's stew type spicy noodles. As a special treat, I've been sent some lovely Brenda, who kindly sent me a pack of these noodles, including the curry flavor as well. To make things even more interesting, I'll be sharing my social media links so you can win one of these packs for yourself and try them out.

Preparing the Noodles

To start, we need to boil the noodles with the sauce packet. So, here's the liquid sauce in 500 milliliters of water. As it boils, it starts to thicken up, and I can see that it's got a more robust flavor profile compared to other Samyang sauces. This one looks almost like gochujang! Next, we add the noodles, and I'm sure they'll absorb all those delicious flavors in no time.

The Flavor Profile

After boiling for five minutes, I remove the heat and get ready to add the spice powder on top. The aroma is incredible – it's so garlicky and inviting! Looking at these noodles, I can see that they're thicker and wider compared to other Samyang noodles. That white powder looks like there might be some seasoning in there as well, adding an extra layer of depth to the flavor profile.

Eating the Noodles

Now it's time to dig in! As I take my first bite, I'm greeted by a wave of flavors that are both spicy and savory. The noodles have a delightful chewy texture, which is absolutely addictive. For me, this stew type noodle has become my new favorite so far – not only the texture but also the flavor of the sauce is spot on.

The Texture Game

I must admit that I'm thoroughly enjoying the experience of eating these noodles. However, as you know, ramen noodles can be quite unforgiving, and it's easy to get a bit carried away. My habit is to inhale those noodles because it's just how you eat them, but when they're spicy, things get a little different. The spiciness sends a wave of heat straight to the back of my throat, initiating that familiar gagging coughing reflex.

Slurping and Savoring

Inhaling or slurping is definitely not an option here; I have to be more mindful of the noodles' temperature and texture. As I take another bite, I'm loving every single bit of this stew type noodle. The flavors are well-balanced – not too sweet, but just a hint of sweetness that doesn't overpower the spiciness. It's perfect for warming up on a chilly winter day.

Nose Running

As we near the end of our noodles, I can see why they're called "stew type" rather than soup; the broth has developed into a richer, more starchy soup over time. With each bite, I'm tasting the sesame seeds, which add a delightful nutty flavor to the mix. It's clear that these noodles have been made with love and care – it shows in every single spoonful.

Cleaning Up

As we're almost done, my nose starts running, but that just means it's been working overtime to process all those delicious flavors! With this final batch of noodles, I can see why this particular pack has won me over. The combination of spices, the texture, and the broth makes for a truly memorable meal.

The Final Verdict

All in all, I'm thoroughly impressed with these Samyang stew type spicy noodles. They've not only proven to be delicious but also satisfying – it's clear that Brenda knew what she was doing when she sent me this pack. With its unique flavor profile and delightful texture, I wouldn't mind buying this on a regular basis. Would you like to try them out for yourself?
