my NEW $15,000 Tech Setup

**Weeb Setup and Decor**

The creator's weeb setup is a testament to their fandom. The space is filled with various items that showcase their love for Japanese culture, including a lot of Weeaboo stuff. They have some Yasobi plushes from the Yoru Nikaku music video, Red Juice, who is one of their favorite illustrators. The creator also has a book of excellent artwork by Yasobi. Additionally, they have anime figures that they don't have room for in their house anymore, so they brought them to this space to make better use of them. These include figurines from an anime called Syono, as well as Hatsune Miku stuff with their personal favorite album, Repackage from KZ Live Tune.

**Cinema Roll and Multicam Setup**

The creator also wants to mention that Cinema Roll is on the bottom of the setup, which adds a cool touch. Another great feature of this set is the proper multicam setup. The creator has a Sony FX3 as their main angle, which adds some really nice depth of field. They also have an FX30, which is a smaller sensor compared to the FX3 but still offers excellent color science and cuts together very well with the FX3. This allows for seamless switching between angles.

**Lighting Setup**

The lighting setup in this space is crucial for creating visually appealing content. The creator has a railing system above the desk that allows them to do clean top-down shots. They plan on using either their personal iPhone 15 Pro Max, using the Blackmagic camera app, or the Osmo Mobile 3, which they're currently using to film the footage you see in this video. For a top-down angle, the Osmo Mobile 3 works surprisingly well.

**Desk and Chair**

The creator recently dropped all the furniture and set pieces in the same way that it was set up before the carpet change, keeping the setup pretty clean and simple. They like to keep their desk tidy, and this is reflected in their setup. The chair is also comfortable, allowing them to focus on creating content.

**Computer and Tech Gear**

The creator's gaming PC is another feature of their space that they're proud of. This one runs a 12 Gen Intel Core i7 with an RTX 480 and 64 gigs of RAM, all in a Fractal North case. They also have a Corsair 27in OLED 1440p monitor, which they've made a video on before, and a gaming keyboard, the Melgeek Wireless Mechanical Keyboard, which is currently charging.

**Goals for 2024**

The creator's goal for 2024 is to make as much interesting content as possible that their audience wants to watch. They're grateful for the support of their community in 2023 and are excited to continue creating content in 2024. However, they want to hear from their audience in the comments below what kind of videos they would love to see, and how they can grow their channel even more.

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enso it is currently December 22nd and if this room sounds very echoey that's because for the past couple of days we've been absolutely gutting the Deni Studio this channel has been going on for two full years and thank you guys so much for the support but for its third year we decided to completely revamp this space so while I'm out in Japan for a holiday break we're going to have some people come in tear out the hardwood floors and install some carpeting which should do a lot to help treat the room for sound that's ominous it's actually raining right now with carpeting new gear and other Studio upgrades we're going to start 2024 right all right it is 2024 brand new year and also brand new carpeting so I haven't been in here yet I just literally got back from holiday break let's see what this room is like with our new floors oh this sounds actually a little better obviously still a little echoey because there's no furniture in here but oh that is Miles better oh and it looks very nice as well yeah it's still a little echoey we need to get shelves on the walls we need to put my TV back but I think once Furniture is in this room oh my God the sound is going to be really good so yeah there's nothing for it let's start building stuff and get this set going finally so after a bunch of trial and error my shelves are finally done look at that because this unit is super modular it took a second to figure out how to make the arrangement for it I wanted to have some of these shorter shelves over here to to put props and stuff and also some shorter ones on the bottom here to maybe store some little knick-knacks and things that I might need for video shoots and then have this open cavity in the middle to maybe put some nice artwork on there to help decorate this whole thing it fills out the wall rather nicely they could be a little taller but I think since we're going to have lights in the set anyway I probably won't be looking that high up and on camera it should take up the whole frame so that's cool however that is only one part of this new set next up I have to build our workbench and that's going to be a little heftier this workbench is big and heavy let's build it look at that that's a big block of wood I like me some big block of w okay oh man a That's Heavy it looks like to a assemble our workbench it's only about 15 Steps and the majority of it is just connecting the legs to the tabletop itself and putting the drawers that are going to be underneath it as well yeah should be pretty straightforward all right so it is the next morning we were reaching the end of the day yesterday so I left the desk where it was but I made some progress today it actually only took an extra 15 minutes to get the desk to pretty much the last step which is to put it upright and put in some drawers upright up we go so it's from Husky which I know a lot of tech YouTubers are buying into these days we have a lot of these in the office let's go ahead and do this last bit of the install and then I think we'll be ready to move the rest of the furniture back into the studio actually I'm a little eager so I jumped ahead and brought one of my studio lights in this is the aperture 3 00x and I kind of want to see what this looks like dang already it kind of looks dope woo I'm digging this all right y'all it is 5:30 in the evening the sun is officially gone and I spent my entire afternoon filling up the shelves with props and stuff that truly makes the set my own now of course the lighting is pretty much what we have in the room right now it's not the set lighting so let me turn off the house lights again hey look at that I will say this does look really sweet does it yeah yeah not bad right might come in and start using your set now so it's been another long night at the office trying to get the lighting all dialed in the unfortunate thing here is that I am behind schedule Furniture is in luckily but the sad part none of it is properly set up and arranged yet so we're going to have to come back in the morning cuz I'm honestly wiped at this point I really do have to finish this tomorrow morning because I have to not only film the actual tour of the finalized setup but I got to pack up and leave for CES literally that night so cutting it a little close but here's hoping that with an early start tomorrow morning that I can get it all done we'll see all right it is the morning which means it is time to do the last bit of work in order to finalize the setup and give you guys the whole entire tour there's quite a bit to do but I'm confident I can get it done in a couple of hours so montage it is currently 400 p.m. which means there's about an hour left in my workday but I finally got the setup done and I am very happy with how it turned out so let me show you around right now I'm sitting in what I consider to be the new main half of dankey studio if you guys have been following the channel for a while you probably know that the content has evolved quite a bit from when started while I still certainly work on product focused stuff like reviews on smartphones and gaming Hardware a lot of you guys seem to like my unboxing videos when we order stuff on Teemu or Amazon or whenever I have a broken piece of tech and fix it up even though sometimes I don't actually fix it as well as I probably could these videos are honestly super fun to make which honestly translates to a lot of the ENT entainment factor that gets put into these videos and I want to play to that a little more and that's what this setup is all about I have a brand new desk which allows me to not only work on things but also unbox products and do talking head segments like this but most importantly it also means that I don't have to steal Austin evans's setup which means I can make more videos and try to get a more consistent upload schedule on the technical side this whole thing is actually pretty simple obviously here's the desk I have it wired up with power and there are also drawers here to hide some goodies that are useful for set like my laptop but most importantly an iPad I can actually use this as my lighting console all of the production lights that I have in this set are controlled by three different apps we have an array of goie LED strips behind my shelf to add a sort of backsplash to add some color to the wall we we also have these aperture lighting tubes which add a bit of a modern look to this wooden shelf and also complements the lights very well and I have another lighting tube fixture up here that helps to add a little bit of light to the props that I have in the background and all of it is controlled via my iPad so I don't have to fiddle around with light switches or anything I can just control it all from one place and it makes it super convenient so I can make them brighter I can turn them off I can also change their color so I can make them blue yellow green another green a teal whatever I want I can pretty much change on the Fly and it all happens pretty quick I also have another lighting fixture here my amaran f21c which is actually this guy which is a fill light I can change the brightness there and this light is also full art RGB as well it's a very flexible setup and that's what I love about it who is that is that mat andini from youtube.com/ thisis wow this looks really dumb in here if you're going to tell me it's dumb come into the light and tell me that it's dumb wow look at that's dumb oh oh that's dumb look look how dumb that is where's that dumb thing over there there's a dumb thing right here cinnamon rolls cool yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah give credit give credit what credit do res of it real dumb real dumb tell me this isn't Dumb the fact you had to turn on a light are you done okay turn off the lights you go you go away I'll also say that I had a very good time filling up the shelves in the background with props that are very personal to me it's a mix of things that we covered on the channel before like the PSX and even the Headless MacBook from really early on in the Channel's life but also no surprises here it has a lot of weeb stuff as well we have some yasobi plushes from the yoru nikaku music video red juice who's one of my favorite illustrators I have a book of his here excellent artwork I also have some anime figures that I don't have room for in the house anymore so I brought them here to make better use of them these are from an anime called syono Hatsune Miku stuff with my personal favorite or at least one of my favorite albums repackage from KZ live tune and also I'm a huge fan of Japanese internet illustrators and this has a lot of them oh and as Matt pointed out Cinema roll is on the bottom another cool thing with this set is that I have a proper multicam setup you guys might have seen it in the beginning of this segment but I have a Sony fx3 as my main angle which adds some really nice depth of field as a full-frame camera but now I also have an fx30 which is a smaller sensor compared to the fx3 but the color science is pretty similar which means they cut together very well pretty seamlessly in terms of the look but also I have this railing system above the desk that allows me to do clean top down shots for that I plan on mounting either my personal iPhone 15 Pro Max using the Blackmagic camera app the footage looks amazing and I think it'll serve very well as a top- down camera but lately I've been all about this osmo mobile 3 it's actually being used to film the footage you're seeing right now and for a top down angle it works surprisingly well and in case you're wondering I'm holding a lighting tube right now because this part of the set is not lit for people now this corner of the room is not particularly new in fact I just dropped all the furniture and set pieces the same way that it was set up before the carpet change but that's honestly kind of the point this setup was already pretty good so I didn't have to tweak all that that much now judging by the fact that I'm still holding this light next to me you might be wondering well what is the lighting setup actually like well because I like to keep the setup pretty clean and this is the most lifestyle part of the room I actually have all of the lights that I use for this setup off to the side and cleaned up until I need to use them and then they're broken down whenever I am done filming the main light that I use when filming in that corner is actually the same F2 1C that I showed you in the multicam main setup this guy can change all kinds of different colors it's on a stand with wheels and is very light so it's very easy to set up and the soft box puts really nice Lighting on my face which is hugely important if you guys aren't into the production gear you might at least be curious about the tech that I'm running so this is a Corsair 27in OLED 1440p I actually made a video on this a few months back and it is pretty sweet we got a melgeek wireless mechanical keyboard a wireless model o that is currently charging and of course a gaming PC this one is running a 12 gen Intel Core i7 with an RTX 480 and 64 gigs of RAM all in a fractal North case which looks pretty slick like seriously I think this might actually be my favorite looking PC case ever very simple look clean and not over the top just the way I like it again I'm very happy with how this set turned out is it the craziest one in the world is it going to turn heads probably not but it is very me and it's very easy to use and when it comes to making content that's all I could ever ask for now that this set is done it's really up to me to make as much
