**Game Review: Game System is Entertaining**
The game system, which is entirely too much fun, especially when you get some really nice damage hits on people. This free-to-play download allows you to start at tier one and advance through the first three tiers fairly quickly beyond that, then it starts slowing down a bit, and it's definitely grindy in the last half of the game. Beyond tier five, if you are completely free to play, that being said, there are a lot of ships to unlock before you get to that level, and you'll have dozens of hours into it before you ever have to decide to spend a dime.
So download it, play it for 5 to 10 hours, see if you even remotely like it. If you do, great well maybe you want to subscribe to it and throw a little bit of money their way. And if not, hey that's okay too. But it is a lot of fun, and that brings us to our final game for this video: League of Legends.
**League of Legends Review**
Of course, League of Legends plays fine on this computer. This computer is ridiculously overpowered for League of Legends, so why in the world am I including it? Not everybody knows that I know it, and many of you watching this will know it and go what in the world is League of Legends doing here. Well, it's third for a reason but not everybody knows what League of Legends really requires. I mean, you know once you know it'll play on anything however until you know that well you don't.
So just for the sake of posterity, I will point out the numbers. We are at 32% graphics card usage, completely trivial vram usage less than half a gigabyte of vram. Now interestingly enough our CPU is fairly busy on two cores and our temperature on our CPU is fairly reasonable as well. We are at a 123-130 frames per second. Now for detail settings everything's cranked to the max antialising is turned on 1080p very high, everything is set as beautiful as it will go frankly what more do you need? It's worth 120 frames a second with a frame time of 7 to 8 milliseconds this thing is absolute perfection.
**Performance Review**
Most other uh mobas most other massive online battle arena such as this will perform very very similar. Uh, Dota 2 will be a little slower but it'll be absolutely fine. Heroes of the Storm will be a little slower but it'll be absolutely fine. So all these type of games are going to run on this laptop without any issue whatsoever.
**Real-World Performance**
Grand Theft Auto 5 high detail 79 frames per second average, Max of 106, a minimum of 51. That is awesome performance for a laptop at this price point with the hardware that's included. That is great. World of Warships 60 frames per second average. This World of Warships is actually not as optimized believe it or not, as Grand Theft Auto 5. It's a free-to-play game what can I say but it plays well enough.
**Conclusion**
The laptop for $1,000 has a great combination of a great graphics chip, a great processor, 16 gigs of RAM, solid state drive, and an 1080p IPS display. For $11,000 this is what I would buy in fact, I did, I bought this laptop off of Amazon, and if you are interested in it, I recommend you check out my link to Amazon in the video description below. Like this video, if you like it, share it with your friends if you loved it remember to subscribe to my Channel with that big huge subscribe button post your comments below the video and please check out the video description, the link to Amazon.com where I bought this laptop and so should you if you want the best $1,000 laptop on the market today.

It is an incredible value for the money, and screaming fast for General overall laptop computer performance.
**Laptop Purchase**
Anyway, thank you so much for watching this video, I will see you next time
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhello and welcome to Tech deals game performance review time on the Acer Aspire VX $1,000 laptop computer this is an awesome machine we are testing three different games today the full playlist of videos on this laptop will be linked in the video description below check it out every bit of detail you could want to know is down there in the video description here you can see all of the specs of the computer i7 CPU GTX 1050ti graphics card Intel n vme SSD it is a great machine the numbers in green at the top left corner of the screen are from MSI After Burner fraps was used for the minimum maximum and average frame performance you'll see and the video was captured with an external Elgato hd60 Pro Hardware capture card so the performance that you're seeing in the game is what you can really expect to see this was not recorded on the laptop itself first up we have Grand Theft Auto 5 the first game we're testing here now this is 1080p resolution at high detail now there's no presets in Grand Theft Auto 5 so I simply went through all the graphical detail options and selected High to everything that could be selected to high Shadows are set to Sharp and antialising is turned on FXAA msaa is off if you look in the upper leftand corner of the screen you'll see the numbers from MSI After Burner the first line is our Graphics chip you will see the first percentage there is the utilization of our Graphics chip we are actually not using all the compute power of our 1050 TI graphics card what does that mean it means actually we could turn some of the details up to very high and we would actually still get about the same frame rate Grand Theft Auto 5 is well known to be a CPU bound game it heavily uses your processor in addition to your graphics card if you come down to line3 you'll see our processor the excellent Intel i77700hq processor the only reason the HQ isn't there is because MSI After Burner doesn't give me enough characters to type in each one of those labels is actually manually input cuz otherwise it would just say CPU but that is the HQ so it's a true quad core processor with eight threads now every time you see that above 50% that means we're into the hyperthreading four cores eight threads so 50% usage is four core Usage Now if this were an i5 which it would be then a four core 4 thread processor we would be slammed to 100% CPU usage this is a very important point because for $200 less than this $1,000 machine you can buy a very similar computer for $800 it will be linked in the video description below that has an i5 processor now that's actually fine for some games and some programs Grand Theft Auto 5 is absolutely using the benefits of having an i7 the hyperthreads the additional four thread sprads beyond the four cores Smooths the game out it doesn't necessarily on its own make the game faster it makes it smoother the minimums are better the frame times are better the frame pacing from frame to frame is better so it's a better overall experience with fewer stutters that is not the case for all games some games simply do not care whether they are on an i5 or an i7 but Grand Theft Auto 5 is an example of a game that will run smoother on an i speaking of smoothness look at the bottom line we are getting over 80 frames per second well we were we dipped just below it but we're getting over 80 frames per second a lot of the time our frame times are also very good this is really really nice for a game as nice as Grand Theft Auto 5 for the fact that this laptop does not have a top-of-the-line Graphics chip it has a top-of-the-line CPU but it actually has more of an entry to mid-level Graphics chip this is really good performance coming up to line four our 16 gigs of RAM is absolutely fine the machine comes with 16 gigs it's all you need don't touch it for a computer at this level you never need to mess with the ram let me direct you two lines above that to the 4 GB vram line that's the second line down from the top this laptop comes with 4 GB of dedicated video memory on that 1050ti this is where this laptop comes in really nice because some laptops with 1050 graphics cards only have 2 GB of vram now it's not going to matter for some games but here it absolutely does we're currently using 3 GB of vram and we are at high detail not very high detail and definitely nothing is turned up to ultra if you were to turn every detail setting up to the max in this game the frame rate would dip a bit and your vram usage would end up in about the 3.3 to 3.5 gab range and that's definitely where you're going to need that four so you don't want to have 2 GB of vram in a gaming laptop in 2017 now I want to draw your attention to the top of the screen again with the graphics chip usage notice we're currently at 86 89% we are not using all of the graphics chips capabilities and in fact while the graphics chip is auto boosting itself to over 1,700 MHz which is really nice for a laptop Graphics chip notice the temperature is a very cool 67° C if you look at the CPU temperature you'll notice that's not the case this CPU is cooking hot at 95° C why is it so hot because the i77700hq is actually a factory overclocked version of the i7 6700 HQ which was the Sixth Gen the Sixth Gen and the seventh gen are really the same processors all Intel did was make that wasn't did you see what he just did that guy drove over me H I'm going to have to at least shoot out his tires in any case the 7700 runs at a higher clock speed but it's really the same chip when it really comes down to a clock for clock it's the same processor and so what Intel did to have a new processor is they simply ramp the clock speed up now this is a benefit in a CPU bound game such as Grand Theft Auto 5 that higher clock speed absolutely gives us better performance the downside is this chip runs very hot I would also like to point out that the fans on this laptop are audible when you're playing games now when you're just browsing the web when you are watching YouTube videos even multitasking outside of gaming the laptop is completely silent you'll never hear a thing but right now where you hear where you see this game being played and the CPU temperature where it's at the uh cooling fans inside the laptop are definitely audible you're going to want to play with headphones on a computer like this or move the machine away from you cuz otherwise well to be blunt the fans are loud the CPU performance leads me back to that $800 model with the i57300hq processor for $200 less that processor has a turbo clock speed 300 MHz less than this one and it would run a bit cooler the clock ouch the clock speed is lower the it doesn't have the hyperthreading and so it's going to run a bit cooler it will also run slower in a CPU bound game such as Grand Theft Auto 5 now not only is the lack of hyperthreading going to impact performance oh stop that but the lower overall clock speed will actually affect it just as much now the lower clock speed of the I5 will actually oh man that's got to hurt hope his insurance was paid up although I think I killed him stealing his truck so he probably doesn't care anyway back to the clock speed if I can stay on track what can I say I'm watching this while I do a voice over and it's just entirely too much fun to do an narration what can I say in any case if you want to play games such as Grand Theft Auto 5 it's worth buying the i7 machine now I know the temperature is quite hot I will tell you this did not thermally throttle there was no point here at where the frame rate actually took a dive there's no point at where the system slowed down because of the temperature so it's hot and I don't want to call it loud but it's definitely loudish but beyond that point it ran very very well all right that's enough Grand Theft Auto 5 you get the point on to our next game World of Warships now I am a huge World of Warships fan and if you have never played this game it is free to play link to download it in the video description below there are over 100 ships that you can play and unlock completely for free it is a pay to progress not a pay to win game the top tier best inclass ships in the game can only be earned through play you cannot buy them there are ships you can buy but tier eight is as good as they get tier 10 is top of the Heat deep so this is way too much fun and here I am actually in the tier n German battleship this is a ship you have to earn you can't buy and I love it because its secondary guns and its close in brawling combat is very much my personal style it's kind of like the diva of World of Warships Diva being from OverWatch cuz she's kind of a tanky close-in character it's my personal play style so how does this game differ from Grand Theft Auto 5 well first of all it is not as CPU dependent as Grand Theft Auto 5 is if you look at line three on the top you'll see that we're only bouncing between 25 and 35% CPU usage this game really only use two to three cores and it definitely doesn't need hyperthreading but it does like clock speed look at our GPU usage our 1050 TI we are loafing at 70% and I have the detail cranked to the max we are as high as the detail will go we are CPU boun but we are not thread bound so we are clock speed but not thread bound so if this were an i5 running at the same clock speed it would be absolutely identical performance in all respects but since the I5 version of this laptop does not have the same clock speed and you can't make it because they're HQ processors and not KS you can't overclock them I still recommend the i7 for the clock speed look at our CPU temperature it is a full 10° cooler than it was in Grand Grand Theft Auto 5 why you might ask simple we're not using all four cores to the Max and so the CPU will in fact run a bit cooler the graphics card is almost bored I mean it bounces around depending upon what you're looking at on the screen but it's not remotely graphics card bound at all main system RAM usage no big deal less than 5 GB of RAM and our vram usage is also no big deal we're using about 2 GB of vram and please note antialising crank to the max detail set to very high everything is turned up to the max so any 2 GB graphics card of the uh 960m or 1050 will run this just fine what it wants is CPU power although In fairness a 960m would have to have it turned down to high from very high it wouldn't handle the antialising and it wouldn't handle the very high level but it would definitely do high this game is entirely too much fun especially when you get some really nice damage hitss on people as I said free to play download it you start at tier one you advance through the first three tiers fairly quickly beyond that then it starts slowing down a bit and it's definitely grindy in the last half of the game Beyond tier five if you are completely free to play that being said there are a lot that is awesome performance for a laptop at this price point with the hardware that's included that is great World of Warships 60 Fram per second average This World of Warships is actually not as optimized believe it or not as Grand Theft Auto 5 is it's a free-to-play game what can I say but it plays well enough that 36 frames per second I challenge you to find it in the brief snippet now I recorded the entire match I didn't show it to you but the reality is that's only a handful of frames it's fairly smooth 99% of the time League of Legends of course it's perfect 136 frames per second don't be alarmed by the 67 that's just a minor blip that's tell teporting back to base um using the recall function that's no big deal our average is much closer to our Max than it is to our minimum we are just fine this laptop for $1,000 has a great combination of a great graphics chip a great processor 16 gigs of RAM solid state drive 1080p IPS display for $11,000 this is what I would buy in
