**CES 2012 Gear Setup**
It has been my pleasure to take to the streets of Las Vegas to showcase my CES 2012 gear setup for all you guys out there who are interested in learning more about the latest technology and gadgets. As a professional photographer, I need to have the right equipment with me at all times to capture high-quality images.
First off, let's start with my camera body - the Canon EOS T2i. This camera is a beast when it comes to taking stunning photographs, and I can attest to its capabilities firsthand. The grip on the side of the camera provides a sturdy hold that allows me to use it for extended periods without any discomfort. Moving on from the camera, I have a plethora of batteries at my disposal, including 9V, AA, and various other types. This is because I always worry about what if something goes wrong with one of them - will I be left stranded without a backup? To alleviate this fear, I make sure to carry multiple batteries, each of which has its own set of benefits.
I picked up two 32 GB Transcend Class 10 cards and a 4 GB PNY card, as well as an 8 GB Class 10 card from another manufacturer. These are all high-quality memory cards that will ensure I never run out of space during my shoots. With these cards, I can rest assured that I'll have plenty of storage for even the most demanding photography projects.
My iPhone 4S is also making an appearance at CES, and it's a great camera phone in its own right. The 8 megapixel lens on this device takes stunning photographs, and the high-quality screen makes it easy to review my shots on the go. With this phone by my side, I can capture high-quality images wherever I go - whether that's in a studio or out on location.
Next up, I have a 6-foot cable that plugs into my camera body and allows me to connect to the Road, a device that enables wireless communication between cameras and microphones. This is a great tool for conducting interviews with subjects who are far away from me - it allows me to maintain a safe distance while still capturing clear audio and video.
For my iPhone 4S, I have a trusty backup battery in the form of a Sco Backup Battery. With this battery, I can extend the life of my phone by several hours, ensuring that I never run out of power when I need it most. The 5,000 milliamp battery is rapid charging-capable, making it easy to top off my phone on the go.
On the topic of batteries, I also picked up four Opteka batteries - a budget-friendly alternative to the official Canon batteries. These batteries are made by Opteka and have approximately 700 more milliamps than the original Canon batteries. At $14 each, they offer great value for money and will allow me to swap out batteries quickly when needed.
Last but not least, I have a 1TB Bradley hard drive that's perfect for storing video footage at home or on the go. With this device, I can store entire projects and upload them with ease - it's a lifesaver for any photographer who needs to keep up with their clients' demands.
Finally, as I make my way through the crowded streets of CES, I have one last piece of equipment that completes my setup: my trusty HP computer. This 15-inch laptop has dual core Intel 2 core Duo processors and enough storage capacity to handle even the most demanding video editing tasks. It's a great machine for uploading footage back at home or on the go - and with its age, it's still running smoothly!
That's all for my CES 2012 gear setup - I hope you guys found this informative and helpful. If you have any questions or comments about what kind of videos you'd like to see me produce while I'm here, be sure to leave them in the comments below!
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enhey guys what's up it's keer from techmart today is January 1st 2012 and I really wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year um this is the first video you will be seeing on the techmart channel in 2012 um without further Ado let's get into the video so today I'll be showing you guys my 2012 uh CES gear um this was kind of a requested video on Twitter a little bit um and I thought some of you guys were a little curious and seeing what I would be bringing to CES so the first thing I have is my Canon Rebel T2i I really like this camera because of the sturdy build uh the fact that I can shoot in high definition 1080p to be exact and that there's uh changeable lenses that's something I really wanted I wanted to get a little bit more into photography and my old Sony camera could not do that because it did not have uh changeable lenses so this is a great camera and I'm very happy that I'll be bringing it to CES moving on I did purchase the Road video mic Pro due to the fact that when you plug it into your uh camera's microphone Port it automatically switches the audio over now I was considering getting the zoom as well but you have to sync the audio on your computer you have to get a Micro SD card even though it does come with one um and spending a little extra more money I thought this was worth it I got it for $180 all I had was a dented box but everything else was brand new on the microphone it sounds really good and this will be the last time you will hear my uh T2i internal microphone when I'm doing my videos so I think this will be a great Buy uh it's a great buy and you guys will definitely be able to hear really good audio at CES next I picked up the best core 96 watt uh 96 LED um light I picked this up because at CTI it was really dim and it kind of did affect the videos uh thank God that I was at a el when I was shot my three videos regarding the LG products they had a really well lit room um so I'm very happy for that but I just want to make sure uh that this doesn't happen again um but if you take a look at the light the light is just amazing uh on it but I hope I really hope I can I got a feeling you can Dem this down by hitting this switch on the side um but I'm going to really have to dim it down to make sure if I'm interviewing someone and the light is on it's not in their face because you'll be able to tell if it's in their face by the reaction the next thing I got was a hot shoe Mount the reason why did get this is my T2i only has one uh hot shoe Mount and that would go with the road so to be able to mount the best score on it I can use either or of these hoto mounts and it's really nice this was only like eight bucks and it has a nice sturdy grip on the side so I could use that with the T2i when holding it next I picked up a plethora of batteries um I always have this very very bad fear that if something goes wrong and a battery is you know broken or explodes or whatever I can always use a different battery uh I picked up a 9vt because that's what the road uses and the best score uses four AA so I will never run out uh the best score lasts for about a 100 hours so that will be good and plus the batteries were $5 for 20 next I got a 32 GB transcend class 10 guard and a 4 GB uh class 4 uh PNY and then in the camera right now there is an 8 GB class 10 card also made by transcend so I should not run out of any space in case one breaks or whatever uh but that is always good next we have my iPhone 4S the reason why I'm bringing this to CES is it's my phone this is how I will tweet you guys and keep you guys updated with what interview or what product I'll be looking at next you guys can give me your opinions on what you want to see um and this is really good for shooting photography uh if I'm on the go and I don't want to use the camera it's got a great 8 megapixel uh camera lens and really like it um because of the high quality screen that it has in my opinion of course next we have a 6 foot cable this will uh plug into my camera uh it's a 3.5 mm Jack and then I can use this and plug it in with the uh Road right this road thing right here and just give that a good plugin and then I can you know use the road to interview people uh along the way so I picked this up you know it was two bucks it was a really great thing and if I ever want to interview someone to have a little distance between them and have someone else hold the camera this is a great buy next I have the sco backup battery I'm using this for my iPhone 4S I will be using my iPhone 4S a lot at the show and I don't doubt that and this is a 5,000 milliamp backup battery um and it charges rather quickly so I'll be able to stick this in my backpack have the cords and we should be able to keep the iPhone 4S AO in the whole day next I picked up four opte I think that's how you say it batteries and you're probably like why would you pick up four that doesn't make any sense and the reason why I picked up four is the Canon official battery uh made by Canon cost about $40 on Amazon and the opteka ones cost about $14 and the opka ones have about 700 more uh milliamp battery in them uh the Kon offishal I believe has 1100 or something like that 1100 milliamps and this has 1,800 milliamps and for 14 bucks I you know picked up uh four of them because that was about the same kind of cost I would get when I if I purchased just one uh Canon battery also I will not be getting a camera grip so I can just you know swap in batteries rather quickly on the go when my camera's going to die and finally uh well last but not least we have a Bradley hard drive um I need some kind of hard drive in case I want to post a video at home or when the show is over and I come back to my house and I just want to post up a surprise video for you guys I can store it on here and I'll be able to show it you guys so the last thing that I'm taking a CES is my HP computer I know this probably would be fitting but it is the HP computer this is a good uh little computer um it's about 15 in it's not very good well it's it's not very good in the core based it's about an Intel 2 core Duo it has uh dual core Intel 2 core Duo I think I said that right Core 2 Duo excuse me um it's a good computer for uploading I like it it's an HP is still running really well uh it's about 2 years old and uh I think it'll be great for uploading so thank you guys so much for watching my C 2012 gear setup if you did like this video please be sure to give it a thumbs up and also if you'd be kind enough to leave a comment down below telling me what kind of videos you guys want to see while I'm at CES whether it's interviews or product demos or just some new products thank you guys so much for watching this video and I will see you guys later bye-byehey guys what's up it's keer from techmart today is January 1st 2012 and I really wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year um this is the first video you
