**The Kia e-Niro: A Small SUV with Big Personality**
The Kia e-Niro is a small SUV that's sure to turn heads on the road. With its sleek design and spacious interior, it's no wonder this car has been gaining popularity among enthusiasts. But don't let its looks fool you - this car is also packed with features that make it a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable ride.
**First Impressions**
As we take a closer look at the e-Niro, we can see that it's been put on straight, but there are a few areas where it could do with some attention. The front end looks a bit droopy, and the rear screen wash system could be improved. When you're stationary, water drips down onto the ledge in the bumper, leaving unsightly marks. But overall, this car is off to a good start.
**Cool Features**
One of the things that sets the e-Niro apart from other small SUVs is its range of cool features. You can get heated front seats and even a heated steering wheel as part of the fully loaded model. And if you want to personalize your ride, you can choose from four different contrasting roof colors - black, red, orange, and lime-green. But what really gets our attention is the car's rear window, which rolls down all the way to allow for easy access.
**Driving Experience**
When it comes to driving experience, the e-Niro is a mixed bag. On one hand, its raised driving position provides excellent visibility - but this isn't enough to make you feel like you're above the rest of the drivers on the road. The car's suspension can be a bit firm, especially over bumps in the road, and it doesn't settle down until you reach higher speeds. However, once you hit the open road, the e-Niro really comes alive. Its 1-liter turbo petrol engine provides plenty of punch, and it sticks to the road with ease.
**Performance**
Speaking of performance, the e-Niro's 1-liter turbo petrol engine is definitely a highlight. It can take you from 0-60 in about 10 seconds, which is no small feat for such a small car. And when you're cruising at higher speeds, the engine provides plenty of smooth and quiet power. But if you do decide to get behind the wheel, be aware that the engine can get a bit rough at lower speeds.
**Fuel Efficiency**
One area where the e-Niro truly shines is in its fuel efficiency. With an estimated 67 miles per gallon on the diesel model and 57 miles per gallon on the petrol version, this car is definitely a cost-effective choice. And with its smooth shifting and responsive steering, it's also a joy to drive.
**Handling**
When it comes to handling, the e-Niro really surprises you. Its slightly firmer suspension may seem like a drawback at first - but when put to use on twisty roads, it actually proves to be an asset. The car feels surprisingly sporty and responsive, with easy steering and minimal roll. And while it's not as tall as some other small SUVs, its lower profile makes it feel more agile and nimble.
**Verdict**
So what's the verdict on the Kia e-Niro? Is it a car you should avoid or consider? We think it's definitely worth considering - despite its limitations, this car has a lot to offer. Its sleek design, spacious interior, and range of cool features make it a great choice for anyone looking for a reliable ride. And with its excellent fuel efficiency and smooth handling, it's sure to turn heads on the road. Whether you're looking for a practical solution or just want to have some fun driving around, the e-Niro is definitely worth shortlisting.
"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enthis is the nucleus tonic if you're wondering why I'm running it's to explain the fact that its name comes from a mixture of speed and tonic of course that is just marketing nonsense isn't it essentially what this car is it's one of those small hatchbacks it's made to look a little bit like an SUV because they're way cooler aren't they so the starting price of this car well it just kicks off over 16,000 pounds burst we're going to Cabo you can get it from under 15,000 pounds now if you click on the pop-up banner in the top right hand corner of the screen or in the link below the video you can see how much you can save on a new car a car why don't you K the interior design of this car it's pretty cool you know I like the features on the - I like the designer the ventilation system I like the two-level center console Veit it's interesting that's good as for material quality well yes every plastic you touch is hard and bristled but I can't complain too much because that's pretty much the same with all of these kind of cars at this price point now there is one thing to think about with this car and that's this primitive also the edge level car it's got pretty much all you need you get a touchscreen with apple carplay and android auto so even though he doesn't have sat-nav you can use the navigation from your phone it has things like cruise control it has air conditioning you get rear parking sensors so that's all good this particular car though is the first edition and if you want the car to look as good as it can then you need the first edition car because otherwise you don't get the contrasting outside paints you don't get this contrasting colors here in the dash and it just doesn't feel quite as exciting to sit in as a result it makes it beg the question why bother so this is the first edition car like I said and it starts from nineteen and a half thousand pounds hmm so should he go for it well I plug the details into car web and I got an offer back for just under nineteen thousand pounds so yeah all I personally would probably upgrade in order to get the nicer-looking trims and stuff in terms of the actual satellite navigation system that you get with this particular car and the normal infotainment system you get on the low spec car it's alright I mean the graphics aren't the sharpest and it's not the most bright or snazzy system but overall it's not too bad now if you click on the top right hand corner the screen will pop out or the link below the video you can see my detailed infotainment system review for the kia ston ik let's just talk about storage space so you can fit a decent sized bottle in the door bin you've got some more storage down here as well and like I said there's a cubby space here which is ideal for mobile phone you've got charging points there it's even got an aux in which is a little bit old-fashioned but how you do have your USB as well one thing I need to mention about this car though is their seating position mates funny absolutely fine there's lots of adjustment in the steering wheel and the driver's seat but the oddest thing is this kind of car is supposed to feel jacked up like an SUV but I can actually get as low as in a sports car though if you're short you're probably we all want a Jackie seater but even then it never feels particularly high riding so it just feels like a normal hatchback really well I'll just put the seat back down to my normal driving position so we can check out space in the back it's alright it's okay you know it's not the biggest there's some knee room which is all right here dreams okay for me there people over six foot will find a little bit tight on head space and one issue I do have is this the seat is quite low so you don't get much under thigh support so on longer journeys in the back it's not gonna be the most comfortable if you need to carry through it once at least the floor is almost completely flat so there's plenty of foot room and the middle seat isn't too terrible and the body wow you know this kind of car it's not that wide so really it's gonna be a bit of a squeeze let's move on to the boot the one thing about the stomach is that the boot really isn't that much bigger than the REO on which this car is actually based and it Charles that of other small SUVs such as the Renault Captur quite considerably in size there's also a bit of a load lip to list of over which is bit annoying when you're loading heavy items into the car this particular model I've got here does have some underfloor storage which is nice though and that razor boot floor does mean that when you fold the seats down you do get a flat live floor which does make it easier when you're sliding items to the front of the car there's a few places where you can hang things off like shopping bags those hooks there and there there's a few tethering points here and here as well if you want more detail on this cause practicality click on the top right hand corner of the screen the pop out card or on the link below the video to see how much stuff you can fit into this card's boot just how easy it is to fit a child seat in the kia stomach and see what it's like with three adults in the back by watching my detail practicality video now then it's time for the car why five annoying things about this car the name Mannie for the car will fit into the glove box but there's a separate one for the infotainment system and they decided to do it in every single language possible pretty much as a result it's so thick then it won't fit in the glove box for the main manual so it has to be stored in a separate pocket in the boot this badge doesn't appear to have been put on straight it's sort of droopy looks like you could do with some tony to perk it up this car makes so many annoying little beeps and bongs so let me just show you alright thank you solids at last why is it neat to many if you use the rear screen wash while you're stationary does the presenter get covered in water it drips down and all pulls here on this ledge in the bumper and it just looks a bit messy to get water marks and supplier ID and I'm a bit wet in places this collar just feels a little bit flimsy look at this there's quite a lot of flakes that wouldn't happen in a said aronia just saying okay fanboys yeah don't worry there's still plenty to like about this car here's the car y5 cool features not only can you get this car with heated front seats you can also get it with a heated steering wheel the top of the range all you need is fully loaded you can personalise the range-topping version of the case tonic by choosing from four different contrasting roof colors black red orange and this lime-green look at this there's a little hole there which you can put the seatbelt buckle in so that when you fold on the seats doesn't slack thanks to this split design when you roll down the rear window it goes all the way down so you can lean out if you want to you actually know who are you troubled by low Sun in winter mornings or evenings well you'll need your sunglasses but where do you put them for the rest of the time don't worry you've got a padded glasses holder here in the stomach now if you're the kind of person that wants on these kind of cars for that raised driving position you may be a little bit disappointed with this car because ya doesn't see much better than just a normal hatchback actually you don't really feel any more superior than other motorists other than that the visibility is actually pretty good and it's an easy car to drive in town steering's light gearshift is nice clutch is nice and light as well and the brakes they're smooth they're not too grabby yeah it's alright the only thing that does poke me off slightly is the suspension it's just a little bit on the firm side it's not comfortable but it does tend to feel a little bit fidgety over bumps in the road never seems to settle just come on settle key it'll all be alright thankfully when you get up to speed on the modes where the suspension does settle down a bit and the car feels reasonably sorted one thing you do notice though when you're going faster is the noise you get quite a bit higher noise and wind noise as well then there's the engines you want to avoid the 1.4 liter petrol because it's a bit weedy and it's noisy I wouldn't go for the 1.6 litre diesel either because while it can do about 67 miles per gallon it's quite rough the engine in this course want to have the 1 litre turbo petrol so it's punchy they'll do nought to 60 in about 10 seconds and when you put your foot down it does it picks up well it can feel a little bit gruff at lower speeds but really it's okay and it sticks this car quite well especially 57 miles per gallon and I'm getting 41 which is all right so then what happens when you come to a twisty road well that slightly firmer suspension does pay off then you see because this car feels quite dirty and Nym and dare I say it's a little bit sporty to drive so you put into a corner responds quite quit ease of the steering and it doesn't roll too much at all that's one of the benefits our guess of it not being too tall like some other small SUVs now if you click on the pop-out banner in the top right hand corner of the screen or the link below the video you can did just go right ahead and buy it well I reckon you should shortlist the Kearse donek it might not be the most practical small SUV but it looks good and it's well equipped plus it's pretty decent to
