iOS 17.4.55: A New Software Update from Apple

Hey guys, today I want to talk about iOS 17.4.55. Apple has just re-released this new software update with a new bill number and I wanted to share some details with you guys about the latest iOS 17.4.55 P 613 on X.

For those who may not be aware, I'm heading over to Apple's developer website where you can download the software directly from Apple. According to the site, the latest software was released on March 21st, 2024, and the bill number is 21 e236. Now, today is March 27th, and as I mentioned earlier, there's a new bill number available but you can only download it manually, not over the air.

As I go into settings here General, I'm going into the about section to check my iOS version, which is right there. According to Apple, the latest release ends in 36, as you can see right there. But why isn't this populating on Apple's website? And how did I get this on my iPhone? The first thing to know is that Apple may make this available later on their website to download the IPSW but they haven't yet done that.

However, it appears that I can update manually by going into settings General and then going into software update. I've taken screenshots of that process, which you can see here. On screenshot for 36 right 21e 236, it says "This update includes Imp improvements and Buck fixes for your iPhone." But on the official release on March 21st, it says "Provide Update Improvement Buck fixes and security updates and is recommended for all users." You can go back into settings and see that there it is.

I've also noticed that if Apple makes this software update available over-the-air or OTA, I'll make sure to let you guys know over on X and in this video's description. So, you can go into settings go into General go into software update and reinstall 1.4.1 if that happens. But as of right now, it is not available, and you can only update manually.

I've checked nearly a week after the official release, but I couldn't find anything else new with iOS 17.4.55. The reason is that I wanted to give you guys a quick update on the latest release, keep you guys updated with the latest release, let me know what you think about this, and if there's anything else I need to share with you guys, I'll be sure to make another video.

In conclusion, iOS 17.4.55 P 613 has been re-released with a new bill number. The software update includes improvements and Buck fixes, but it's not available over-the-air yet. You can only download it manually from Apple's developer website or by going into settings General and updating it manually.
