intellivision Is Back With A New Console! The Last Game Hunter

**The Revival of Classic Consoles: A Modern Vintage Console War?**

As a nostalgic gamer, I'm thrilled to share with you the latest news in the world of classic consoles. With the resurgence of interest in retro gaming, it's no surprise that companies like Mattel and Nintendo are revisiting their archives. In my case, I have fond memories of the original Intellivision console, which was first released by Mattel in 1980. While I may have misplaced mine, I'm excited to hear about the new developments.

**The Mighty Super Pro System: A Forgotten Era**

Did you know that the Super Pro System, launched from 1986 to 1989, aimed to take on Atari's 7800, Nintendo's NES system, and Sega's Master System? Although it didn't quite live up to expectations in terms of sales, it marked an era where the Genesis and other consoles were launching. Despite its relatively short lifespan, the Super Pro System remains a fascinating footnote in gaming history.

**Intellivision Revives: A New Console on the Horizon**

But what's truly exciting is that Intellivision, now owned by Mattel, has announced plans to release a new console. I must admit, when I reached out to the company for more information, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a response within two days! It seems they're committed to keeping us informed about their latest developments.

**The Power of Social Media: Exclusive Consoles and Exclusivity**

By registering on Intellivision's Facebook page (link provided below), you can be part of an exclusive group, with only 100,000 people having the chance to buy a unique version of the console that will never see stores. I'm thrilled to be among those selected!

**A Vintage Modern Console War: The Next Chapter**

What makes this revival even more exciting is the prospect of a vintage modern console war! While Atari's VCS has sparked interest, Intellivision's approach stands out. With their own funding and production, they're not relying on crowdfunding like some other companies. Instead, they're focusing on creating a product that will hit stores with all the necessary support.

**Intellivision's Strategy: Pre-Paid Publishers and Exclusive Titles**

What sets Intellivision apart is their commitment to pre-paying publishers for exclusive titles. This means they're taking the risk out of developing games for the console, ensuring a smooth launch with day-one support from respected developers. It's clear that Intellivision has learned from the successes and failures of modern consoles like Nintendo's Switch.

**Join the Conversation: Share Your Thoughts!**

We invite you to share your thoughts on this exciting development in the comments section below. What do you think about Intellivision's new console, and the prospect of a vintage modern console war? Are you excited for the potential innovations that could shake up the market?

As an older gamer myself, I'm thrilled to see this revival bring attention back to classic consoles. And who knows? Maybe Sega will surprise us with a new console soon!

WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enpretty nice system for 1979 well hey guys hey guys last game hunter and Wow am i excited there's a new Intellivision coming in television with all the talk and hype about the Atari VCS now there isn't in television alright guys this is pretty cool let's let's think this through here you got Atari talking about launching a new system called the Atari VCS which has modern hardware to play original in high definition and newer games whether they will be exclusive or whatever we don't know yet because Atari is still hiding behind everything and not giving proper answers to monetary what's going on we're interested in a new vintage new console war that's right we are and on my side I'm gonna have the new in television that's right in television has and stated there is a new high-definition console coming and automatically what do we think of we automatically assume they're talking about at games at games with an HDMI now that wouldn't be too bad of an idea if you're just looking to play the original games and it's not an in television console at that point it's an at games product not that they did a bad job with this one they did a pretty good job so what are we talking about we're talking about a company that launched this system in 1979 whether it's been revamped or altered or changed today is launching their own new console that is pretty amazing so a little history about their consoles well one like this RadioShack can Division one here was the original console the original concept the original idea you had your disc and your touchpad or keypad and then moving on with that same idea they launched the Intellivision 2 now the Intellivision - like what you would do or what you would see today in today's console world is you build a slimmer smaller and newer console of your console not saying it's better not saying it's worse but they made it smaller more modern keeping the same idea with the discs in the keypad being television - but like most companies do not have an add-on whether it be VR today or a Kinect or whatever it is well back then it was voice yeah that's right consoles never had boys this one did for games we're actually put out for this starting to sound like some other consoles but it gave speech to a console of its era that was pretty unheard of and pretty high tech at the time so cool so what are we going with today before we go what they did today or what they're doing today in 86 they did launch another one so remember they had this console and they had some weird variations of things in between and some keyboard add-ons to even meet a home computer out of this really cool but they launched another console aka T we're gonna call it in television three or the super Pro System cool name now what's wrong with this picture the super pro system and the original system look identical and he did the only difference was the additi power leg right here there is a possibility that there was some power added but I don't think so I think that is cartridge based there was cartridges there's a lot of games put out which are a little more sought-after called super Pro so if it's football super pro football whereas it was football for this one and things were enhanced a little which could have been cartridge based but I'm very very very excited to have added this to my collection a few years ago sadly it's a new one missing and was opened missing the insert on this one side so other than that it's like never been played and it was pretty exciting when I did the trade now you have all the old consoles the original which in my case is the Radio Shack I think I have one somewhere but I don't know where I put it and then you have in television to the voice add-on and then the mighty super pro system which ran from 86 to 89 which I believe was put out to take on Atari 7800 Nintendo's NES system and Sega's Master System didn't I guess bear as well actually when you think about I'm not bad because it ended an era where the Genesis and everything was launching not bad not bad whether it did well sales wise who knows at the time all owned by Mattel we're not talking about them or whether and Mattel is behind it we're talking about now will Nintendo Wii or Mattel be behind it that I don't know so I reached out to the company and to my amazement they actually got back to me about two days later I almost fell over in my chair I reach out to companies all the time maybe I'm not big enough but I'm cool enough anyway that's another story must be the hair but moving on they got back to me and I'm gonna be in the loop to get updated the other cool thing is if you register on their Facebook page which I'll leave a link down below you actually can be put in for I think it's a hundred thousand people can have exclusivity to buy a certain version of the console that will never see stores I'm on the list I'm pretty happy because I'm pretty sure I'm buying that console to have a console this is gonna hit stores it's all mine I'm all-in now what makes this better let's change that what makes this different than at Arby's VCS I hope Ataris VCS does come to life and the reason why is we can have a vintage modern console war only guy missing his political vision and that to me it's pretty cool it is pretty cool but what makes it different one Intellivision states they have the money they're not crowdfunding the product the product is coming out on their coin it's up to you to buy it thumbs up right there guys you just put Atari in its place come on Atari you're not even showing us a working prototype or games working on the prototype you're showing us footage where did it come from in television isn't going to play that game their game is and their strategy is they're not wanting the console tell one it's working perfectly two the games are ready to go so they're not going to launch this thing and then oh well here's the vintage games no they want their exclusive titles and to be day one they don't want to have a shortage they want everything to go smooth they've learned from modern consoles they've learned from modern consoles such as Nintendo with their switch Nintendo with their classics and so on but they're not going to have a repeat of that on their own console so what they want to do is you want to launch the console and have games ready now the cool part about the games they're actually pre paying the publishers is everybody's wondering where's the third-party support for this how is this gonna happen why would game companies make games for this not knowing that they're going to survive especially if they're exclusive well the answer is they're going to prepay the publishers for these games they're taking the whole risk factor out of it so they're saying to have everything from small medium and a large soft software party support that is awesome so guys listen this is pretty cool this is great news and please comment below and let me know what you think about Intellivision having a new console and the idea of this modern and vintage console war idea I think that's great we haven't had anything shake up the market in a long time this is really cool especially for us older guys this is this is exactly what we've always wanted other than Sega making a new console come on Sega most of all I want to hear your comments about this this is exciting I know that there's a lot of young guys out there that watch too but this will be cool this will cater to the collector in your heart and your mind and some new stuff coming out that's awesome the next time guys game overpretty nice system for 1979 well hey guys hey guys last game hunter and Wow am i excited there's a new Intellivision coming in television with all
