THIS is what PC Heaven Looks Like!

**Micro Center's Grand Reopening: A Tour and Build**

We've made it to Micro Center's grand reopening event, and we're excited to take you through a tour of this tech enthusiast's paradise. As we walk in, we're greeted by the friendly staff who are eager to help us navigate the vast array of products on offer. Our mission today is to build a custom PC, but first, let's take a look around the store.

As we explore the aisles, we notice that everything is neatly organized by manufacturer, making it easy to find what you're looking for. We see our favorite brands like Cooler Master, ASUS, and NVIDIA, among others. The staff are happy to answer any questions we may have, and they seem knowledgeable about the products on offer.

One of the things that catches our eye is the large selection of power supplies from various manufacturers, including EVGA, Corsair, and Seasonic. We also see a wide range of graphics cards, including NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 3080 and 380 TI models. The store has an impressive collection of liquid cooling solutions, including the popular NZXT Kraken series.

As we make our way to the CPU section, we're greeted by the latest Ryzen processors from AMD. We also see a selection of Intel Core i5 and i7 processors, as well as some older models at discounted prices. The staff are happy to answer any questions we may have about these processors, including their performance and compatibility with different motherboards.

Next, we head over to the memory section, where we find a wide range of DDR4 RAM modules from various manufacturers, including Corsair, G.Skill, and Team Force. We're interested in trying out Team Force's RGB memory, so we select two 16 GB sticks of their 3600 MHz kit.

As we continue our tour, we come across the GPU section, which is filled with a wide range of NVIDIA GeForce graphics cards, including the popular RTX 3080 and 380 TI models. We also see some AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT models, as well as some older cards at discounted prices.

Finally, we head over to the build area, where we'll be assembling our custom PC using some of the products we've selected today. The staff have set up a few workstations with tools and materials for us to use, and they're happy to offer any assistance we may need during the build process.

**The Build Process**

Now that we've taken a tour of Micro Center's grand reopening event, it's time to start building our custom PC. We begin by selecting our CPU, which we'll be using an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor. Next, we choose our motherboard, which will be the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Plus.

We select our power supply, which is the EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GA, and install it in the case. We also add our graphics card, which is the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080. Our RAM modules are installed in the motherboard, and we configure them as a dual-channel kit using DDR4 memory.

Our storage solutions include an SSD from Samsung's 980 Pro series and a hard drive from Western Digital's Caviar Blue series. We add our case fans, which are the Noctua NF-F12 iPPC-2000 PWM, and install them in the case. Finally, we install our cooling solution, which is the Wraith Prestige CPU cooler.

**The Final Result**

And that's it! Our custom PC is now complete, and it's looking amazing. We've got a powerful Ryzen 9 5900X processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, and plenty of RAM to go around. The case fans are installed, and the cooling solution is keeping our CPU at a safe temperature.

We're excited to put this build through its paces and see how it performs in our benchmarks. With Micro Center's vast selection of products, we know that we can find everything we need to make this build a success.

"WEBVTTKind: captionsLanguage: enwhat's up guys js2 cense here and this is an exciting one right here if you guys have ever wondered what PC heaven looks like then you're going to want to stick around for today's video cuz today we are going to take a tour of the brand new grand reopening of the Tustin Micro Center where the entire store was gutted rebuilt and turned into Tech Heaven okay so 3 years ago we were fortunate enough to be invited to the grand reopening of the Denver store uh for Micro Center and that in itself was nuts and I mentioned back then to the executives I said you know my local store is Tustin what do you guys have planned for that and we were basically given a wink and said trust us we have something special in store for Tustin Tustin is one of their busiest stores that they have of their 25 locations if you've been to this store you already know this is massive they have completely opened up the sales floor they have pushed all the walls back they have like just completely increased the sales floor space if you don't know what a Micro Center is you can basically say if you like anything that is electrical and plugs in and this is your store whether it be 3D printing build your own computers pre-built systems laptops monitors desks setup Furniture power strips soing equipment tools everything is here now we're going to focus on a few things today we can't possibly cover the entire store but I want to show you guys what's different especially if you live local uh to the Tustin Micro Center this is a flagship store and they have spared no expense when it comes to uh what they've done here now I'm going to tell you right now in terms of product they did tell me that this store has more product in the history of Microcenter of any of their stores ever in fact let's go take a look build your own cuz we have to put their money where their mouth is and you got to see this so peripherals obviously peripherals are a huge part of any sort of setup so they've got a massive amount of pereral keyboards mice everything from basic to RGB gaming uh Pro if you would look they even got the Huntsman Mini keyboard from Razer a this has been really hard to get look at this little 60% little baby keyboard if you've seen it online the chances are they have it in stock here even some of the most obscure like you wouldn't think that a store would actually have it in stock you got to order it in line but as we come down here look at how far the store continues to extend again if you've never been to the Tustin store it might not be coming across in Translation just how massive the stores become you know I'm going to be honest with you I'm I've never really put TV shopping and Micro Center in the same sentence it's always been build your own PC parts peripherals cables tools things like that but the TV section the the AV this okay well you know I'm going to start making drives to test in more often so Micro Center over the last few years has actually been getting really involved with 3D printing we've always had uh 3D printing be a part of Micro Center um when it first came out but they've really started getting into the Creator side of it so they've got LS bought here we've got snapmaker we've got creality stuff different sizes all your materials your filaments your tools your uh replacement parts Taz Workhorse 3D printer I just saw it was the most expensive one I'm assuming that means it's the best I mean come on that's ignorant I know but I just don't know where to start so expect to see a collaboration soon between Microcenter and 3D printing where I start and for like the Star Wars build to be perfect for that so I'm actually standing in what used to be the old build your own which is now the PC systems this is where you've got your laptops your tablets your full your si builds your your pre-builts are all available here also all your monitors which are kind of flanking everything here so you can see the monitors on and in action uh which is very important when buying a monitor you can look at specs online but you need to see it and see if you like it um but you know what although this is all really cool and there's no way we could even cover a fraction of everything that's in the store we're going to go now to the part where you guys I guarantee are here to see and that is the build your own PC components I call it PC heaven and this is why so this entire side of the store is dedicated to build your own this is if I had to make a guess as to old build your own versus the new one this is four or five times bigger than it was before so I mentioned that I'm going to be doing a live build and one of the things that I'm doing while I'm here is picking parts for that build now this is something new right here the build your own Parts the custom PC Builder we've already shown on the website how you can pick the parts it'll guide you through compatibility even cases it'll guide you through making sure that your motherboard you selected will fit in the kind of case that you chose uh same thing with the water coolers and the air coolers it just has all of the data to know what is compatible with each other well you can take that same concept here to the store now where you can actually use the PC Builder touchcreen uh kiosks right here where you can drill down through those same selections find all the parts you want it'll tell you what's in stock show you prices all that sort of stuff and then if you don't want to actually go around and try and find those parts you can even use the instore pickup option from the kiosk where somebody else will pick the parts for you and then you pick it up at the customer service counter just like you would have done with your online part selection you can do it here now in the store so instead of running around and trying to I know maybe find an associate or someone or wait in the queue to grab a graphics card or a CPU or whatever you get it in your build right here you get it handled then you actually cut the line technically that way but then somebody else picks it for you you pick it up you're out and it's about being quick and easy and efficient um it's not online quite yet it'll be online very soon but these are the type of functionalities that they're bringing into the store for that high-tech customer experience that I was telling you about at the start of this video where it's um well not only does it build your own it's literally like self-service but full service at the same time now that's not online yet right now it's very soon and we're actually here before the store opens therefore we are going to be picking our parts old school style cuz although this is great for somebody that may need the guidance to picking parts I'm very old school and I'm going to pick them myself so let's go do that so one of the things we're going to be doing today is building a system that will be determining what we're going to do with but I have to pick a case for that now here they have what they call their case garage or they have over a hundred different case models on display this is just one aisle of it you can see it goes on all the way behind me but the hardest part about building a a system is trying to determine what the best case is for you and let's face it the cardboard boxes don't do them Justice you need to be able to see it feel it touch it look at it see what the build is going to be like and the case garage is going to allow you to be able to do that they also have these lazy Susan uh kind of displays right here so you can actually take a build like this is a complete build right here and actually turn it have a look at it I like the fact that it's springloaded and it goes back to where it's supposed to so they don't have to pay someone to come here and constantly be making it straight so let's go and pick a case we need a case for this build nice thing is if you want to know more about the products too if you look down at the floor you'll see they have these barcodes throughout the the store these barcodes will allow you to actually scan it with your phone and then it will give you information about all the product that's on this aisle and you can zero rate on the product that you want the cool thing is they also have an app a smart app for the phone specifically that you can log into where they've got well I think it's said a couple hundred Bluetooth beacons here in the store that can pinpoint where you are down to a meter so if you need help you literally push a button that says I need help it puts you in a queue and then when the associate is ready to come help you they can conf find you within one meter because of all the Bluetooth uh beacons here in the store so no longer you going to be running around trying to find someone like I need help I need help uh you actually going to be able to just sign up on your phone hit the queue they'll come find you you could go look somewhere else in the store they will tell the associate where you are so you don't have to stand here and be like okay I want this case you just be over there picking out a keyboard or something like that in fact the app can even if you want to find a certain product even the bathroom you want to know where the bathroom is it'll even bring up a map and show you here's you here's the bathroom it's kind of like Google Maps for Street only it's micro maps for the store which literally will guide you anywhere I want a keyboard I want this keyboard and it will tell you where to go and it will even draw a line you can go there the idea is to take a tech-minded store like this and use Tech to make the customer experience well seamless fast efficient and high-tech so I'm kind of looking for something maybe that I haven't built in before and that's sort of the nice thing about the case garage um so they got everything sort of set up by manufacturer too so you got your your Cooler Master stuff you have your Corsair stuff together um let's see what we got over here oh here's all your Le and Lee stuff it's so hard to decide it's everyone's dream job or idea to be like I just want to go have a shopping spree in a store but I tell you what you add a timer to this and be like hey you got five minutes it's not what they did but man I'll tell you right now the pressure is on I'm actually kind of digging this one right here this is the Leon Lee lanol 205 mesh in white I like white cases they're easier for us to film honestly cuz they're not just just a big old cave so we will go ahead and grab this to start our build all right so we're going to need some storage uh they got this huge storage wall that's actually broken up between SATA ssds m.2 ssds your spinning op or spinning drives um we're going to go with the m.2 build because there's no reason not to so let's kind of look around here I like how they have everything broken out by by brand also it makes it really easy especially when you use the barcodes to try and find something if everything's Broken Out by brand it makes it much easier to zero in on where you want to go so since we're going with an AMD build which I've already decided got PCI Gen 4 we're going to use a PCI Gen 4 nvme it's a 980 Pro up to 7,000 megabytes per second ra right 1 tab uh I like using m2os because of the fact that it's clean you don't have to deal with a SATA power cable you have to deal with a SATA data cable uh it's just nice and easy so can't go wrong with the 980 Pro all right so this is the motherboard wall uh again everything broken out by brand Broken Out by manufacturer as well you have your AMD boards your Intel boards the nice thing is everything's here for you to see all the prices are clearly visible so all your AMD stuff is on this side all your Intel stuff is on that side you can't have them you know all mingled in they they'll fight they won't get along you know just like you guys when it comes to whoever your favorite brand is okay fine that was that was a cheap shot I know but the best boards are behind the glass so this is still what I feel is one of the absolute best motherboards that you can get your hands on for AMD it's Rog Crosshair 8 dark hero this is the one that allows you to actually set a specific all core overclock for your ryen core CCX as well as an individual core overclock per CCX that way you can really dial in your best overclock we're going to be pairing that also with a 5900 X so in terms of availability you can see here you got your 5900 X's all the way down to your ryzen 7s you got your ryzen 5ivs um you got your apus here so in terms of availability if you take a look at the pricing too you can see the prices are are obviously extremely reasonable it's tough times so when I said availability to look at this right not that long ago this is a shell this is this is a cabinet that would have been completely empty so you can see why I say that this is like Computer Heaven now one of the things that I love about Micro Center is the fact that they're one of the only retail stores that have actually adopted the custom water cooling availability you know concept if you will so you've got your rigid ptg tubing which we need more might as well grab some while we're here all your different Brands you've got your couplers complete water cooling kits in a box that's a thermal tap kit this is a Corsair kit it's got everything you need in the box so if you need custom water blocks custom fittings we got fittings right there behind Phil uh individual tubes your bending cords look how long that one is I need a new bending cord ours got stuck in the ceiling don't ask so I'll probably grab one of those while I'm here we've got our fluids the custom fittings like I said and these are all for the most part uh yeah we've come down here all the way to make buy one or two of these before in the past again don't ask I'm not going to be doing a custom Loop in this particular build today because of the fact that um limited time obviously so I think I'm going to go with the IQ h100i Elite capellic cuz we have a white case this is one of those times when being tall is a good thing ooo I didn't lus that I'm going to go and put that one back if you're short though you might have to join that queue power supplies you name it they got it all right so everything's broken up by manufacturer as expected we got our cooler Masters we got our rog's we got our G skills our power specs power spec is the in-house micr Center brand if you guys weren't aware here we go the r strick 650 so this is the part everyone has been waiting for what about the gpus what about the gpus okay I'm seeing every skew in stock that's the crazy part and here's the even crazier part they're at MSRP or extremely near MSRP for example this is a gigabyte GeForce RTX 380 TI for $1.99 that is the MSRP of a 380 ti so everything is NVIDIA on this side and we've got our AMD cards on the other side this is where you you don't want to be greedy right especially when I'm doing this kind of build I don't want to be like okay I'm going to take all of this stuff I look at this ,650 for 219 they actually have 3080s and stuck look that's all 3 380s there 2 380s there three more there one more there mine right there I mean this is absolutely insane so I think they have the entire nation's inventory of the 6900 XT here we got liquid Devils we got Red Devils look at this 6900 XT 6900 6900 6900 XTS 6900 XTS 6900 XT 6800 XTS more 6800 XTS the gaming station which is the external card 67 00 XT 6700 XT 6600 XT what who did they rob more 6900 XTS more liquid Devils so one thing I haven't selected yet is Ram so this is our ddr4 wall right here um I want RGB you know me RGB is important I I'm I'm basic so you know what I've never used before is Team Force I kind of want to give Team Force a shot all right so we're going to go with the 32 gigs the 2 16 GB sticks of 3600 tforce RGB should be plenty fast for our ryzen CPU digital locks wow some Mission Impossible stuff going on here say like 11 all right thanks now obviously I need some tools and I'm not in my studio but that's okay cuz I got a full lineup of iix it tools here explosion all right guys so there you go there's the build all the parts we picked here inside micros Center tustin's new grand reopening um look we took you through a tour through the store if you guys are in PC you're into Tech you're into just pretty much anything that has to do with electronics this is going to be your heaven so what we're going to be doing with this build is later on this year probably in December the start of December this will be our first giveaway we're going to do for the month so somebody's going to have a chance to win this but if you guys want to start shopping right now you don't wait till December or just learn more about microcenter's uh Tustin grand reopening check the links down the comments below you guys will find links to these parts you'll find links to the store um I can't wait to come back and check out the app when the app is active and it's got the the Little Dot that follows you around the store where you can get in line to talk to a a customer service representative you can scan the QR codes on the floor learn more about the products in that aisle find anything in the store even the restrooms are mapped and they'll draw you a line to the restroom if you get lost so there you go guys thanks for watching huge thanks to Microcenter for sponsoring today's video and bringing us here sound off down below how you guys feel about Micro Center I know the most common thing I see about Micro Center is I wish there was one nearby so we're lucky to live near one if you're not it's worth the drive if it's and dry heck plan a mini vacation get on a plane and fly you'll thank me later all right guys thanks for watching as always we'll see you in the next onewhat's up guys js2 cense here and this is an exciting one right here if you guys have ever wondered what PC heaven looks like then you're going to want know just like you guys when it comes to whoever your favorite brand is okay fine that was that was a cheap shot I know but the best boards are behind the glass so this is still what I feel is one of the absolute best motherboards that you can get your hands on for AMD it's Rog Crosshair 8 dark hero this is the one that allows you to actually set a specific all core overclock for your ryen core CCX as well as an individual core overclock per CCX that way you can really dial in your best overclock we're going to be pairing that also with a 5900 X so in terms of availability you can see here you got your 5900 X's all the way down to your ryzen 7s you got your ryzen 5ivs um you got your apus here so in terms of availability if you take a look at the pricing too you can see the prices are are obviously extremely reasonable it's tough times so when I said availability to look at this right not that long ago this is a shell this is this is a cabinet that would have been completely empty so you can see why I say that this is like Computer Heaven now one of the things that I love about Micro Center is the fact that they're one of the only retail stores that have actually adopted the custom water cooling availability you know concept if you will so you've got your rigid ptg tubing which we need more might as well grab some while we're here all your different Brands you've got your couplers complete water cooling kits in a box that's a thermal tap kit this is a Corsair kit it's got everything you need in the box so if you need custom water blocks custom fittings we got fittings right there behind Phil uh individual tubes your bending cords look how long that one is I need a new bending cord ours got stuck in the ceiling don't ask so I'll probably grab one of those while I'm here we've got our fluids the custom fittings like I said and these are all for the most part uh yeah we've come down here all the way to make buy one or two of these before in the past again don't ask I'm not going to be doing a custom Loop in this particular build today because of the fact that um limited time obviously so I think I'm going to go with the IQ h100i Elite capellic cuz we have a white case this is one of those times when being tall is a good thing ooo I didn't lus that I'm going to go and put that one back if you're short though you might have to join that queue power supplies you name it they got it all right so everything's broken up by manufacturer as expected we got our cooler Masters we got our rog's we got our G skills our power specs power spec is the in-house micr Center brand if you guys weren't aware here we go the r strick 650 so this is the part everyone has been waiting for what about the gpus what about the gpus okay I'm seeing every skew in stock that's the crazy part and here's the even crazier part they're at MSRP or extremely near MSRP for example this is a gigabyte GeForce RTX 380 TI for $1.99 that is the MSRP of a 380 ti so everything is NVIDIA on this side and we've got our AMD cards on the other side this is where you you don't want to be greedy right especially when I'm doing this kind of build I don't want to be like okay I'm going to take all of this stuff I look at this ,650 for 219 they actually have 3080s and stuck look that's all 3 380s there 2 380s there three more there one more there mine right there I mean this is absolutely insane so I think they have the entire nation's inventory of the 6900 XT here we got liquid Devils we got Red Devils look at this 6900 XT 6900 6900 6900 XTS 6900 XTS 6900 XT 6800 XTS more 6800 XTS the gaming station which is the external card 67 00 XT 6700 XT 6600 XT what who did they rob more 6900 XTS more liquid Devils so one thing I haven't selected yet is Ram so this is our ddr4 wall right here um I want RGB you know me RGB is important I I'm I'm basic so you know what I've never used before is Team Force I kind of want to give Team Force a shot all right so we're going to go with the 32 gigs the 2 16 GB sticks of 3600 tforce RGB should be plenty fast for our ryzen CPU digital locks wow some Mission Impossible stuff going on here say like 11 all right thanks now obviously I need some tools and I'm not in my studio but that's okay cuz I got a full lineup of iix it tools here explosion all right guys so there you go there's the build all the parts we picked here inside micros Center tustin's new grand reopening um look we took you through a tour through the store if you guys are in PC you're into Tech you're into just pretty much anything that has to do with electronics this is going to be your heaven so what we're going to be doing with this build is later on this year probably in December the start of December this will be our first giveaway we're going to do for the month so somebody's going to have a chance to win this but if you guys want to start shopping right now you don't wait till December or just learn more about microcenter's uh Tustin grand reopening check the links down the comments below you guys will find links to these parts you'll find links to the store um I can't wait to come back and check out the app when the app is active and it's got the the Little Dot that follows you around the store where you can get in line to talk to a a customer service representative you can scan the QR codes on the floor learn more about the products in that aisle find anything in the store even the restrooms are mapped and they'll draw you a line to the restroom if you get lost so there you go guys thanks for watching huge thanks to Microcenter for sponsoring today's video and bringing us here sound off down below how you guys feel about Micro Center I know the most common thing I see about Micro Center is I wish there was one nearby so we're lucky to live near one if you're not it's worth the drive if it's and dry heck plan a mini vacation get on a plane and fly you'll thank me later all right guys thanks for watching as always we'll see you in the next one\n"
