FULL DISPLAY made of RGB Fans! - HyperVSN Wall

The Hypervision Display Wall at CES 2018

As we walked through one of the most trippy booths at CES 2018, we were met with an impressive display that left us speechless. Behind me, what appeared to be a hypervision display wall was actually a custom installation made by the brand Hypervision. This display is unlike anything else I've ever seen, and it's been a staple in the industry for some time now.

To put this into perspective, 10 years ago, I had a case fan with LEDs that could be programmed to show text. It was like something out of a sci-fi movie, but this takes it to a whole new level. Each spinning display has four blades, each with over 200 micro-LEDs per blade. This gives you an effective 4K resolution per fan, allowing you to upload 3D movies or animated videos and create pseudo 3D images. The craziest thing about this display is the pseudo 3D effect it creates when viewed from the side, even appearing three-dimensional.

When I asked Hypervision how they achieved this incredible effect, they went mum on the details. All I can say is that each fan has internal processing, with some form of CPU memory and storage for content, but they wouldn't reveal any further information about it. The price tag? A whopping $3,240 per fan. This display is mostly intended for commercial applications, but if you're a high-end enthusiast like myself, with more than $3,000 to spend on multiple fans, this might be the perfect fit.

The Hypervision Display Wall is available in two sizes: one can be rented for $30,000 and the larger one for $50,000. While there's no word yet on availability or pricing for retail spaces, we're hopeful that it will become a staple in many companies' offices in the future. The company has already begun launching these displays at the show today.

In terms of content, Hypervision has a strict certification process in place to ensure that only authorized studios are able to create content for their displays. This is understandable, given how impressive everything looks. With cloud-managed content delivery, each fan has Wi-Fi or Ethernet connections to pull down the video it needs. You can use any 3D animation software like Maya or Cinema 4D to create massive animations, and thanks to the way the fan blades are slightly offset on the walls, the appearance is nearly seamless.

three-dimensional when you look at it from the side i asked them how it worked and they basically went secret sauce it's amazing so each one of these fans has internal processing we got them to admit that there's some kind of cpu memory and storage for content but they wouldn't give us any real details about how that works it'll cost you a whopping three thousand two hundred and forty dollars per fan so this is mostly intended for commercial applications but let's say you kind of goable g-liners i got a lot more than that to spend and i want more than one fan so the video walls behind me they're just launching these at the show here well you can rent the small one for 30 grand and the big one for 50. in the future they do plan to offer these to things like uh retail spaces for demonstrations but there's no word yet on availability or pricing now in terms of the content that can be displayed on these they have a strict certification process for studios that are authorized to
